Chapter 416 – I want to be a start (1)
As the best child of the current Ren generation, Ren DongZhi had been doted on since the day that he was born.
His parents were always busy with work and he was brought up by his older brother, who treated him almost like his own child.
As a kid from the previous Ren generation had been kidnapped in the past, the Ren family had become very lowkey overall for the sake of protecting the children.
With the exceptions of a few banquets, they didn’t bring the children out to a lot of places before their adulthood.
As the youngest son at home and having a very capable big brother above him priming up to be the heir of the family, the family didn’t have a lot of expectations on Ren DongZhi.
They only wanted Ren DongZhi to grow up happily and healthily. They even followed his wish and allowed him to attend a regular school like an ordinary person.
During his junior high school years, Ren DongZhi had fallen ill and that had messed up his hormone secretions. That, on top of the fact that he enjoyed eating high-caloric food at the time, made him blow up like a balloon.
He had tried to lose weight but didn’t have the will power. It resisted all but three minutes.
At the time, Ren DongZhi, like many boys his age, had a thing for Zhong Yi, the school’s beauty queen.
There were two Zhong Yi’s at the time. The one in Class #1 were pure looking, came from a good family, and was a true White, Rich and Pretty. She was voted the beauty queen at school and was referred to as the Big Zhong Yi.
Zhong Yi from Class #6 was young but her charm was already beginning to show. She was playfully referred to as the Little Zhong Yi.
Except that her beauty was too aggressive and, as such, easy to draw aggro for her. She developed well even by junior high school and was already shapely.
Many would have looks of contempt on them when talking about her. They called her a fox demon reincarnation and loved to seduce men. Half of the rumors about her were real and the other half weren’t. None of them were positive. She was labeled as ***** or #####, etc.
Some said that she was mixed up with scoundrels outside of school and would bully other girls at school.
Some said that she loved stealing other’s boyfriends and had other boys buy her stuff.
At the time, Ren DongZhi was in Class #5, neighboring Little Zhong Yi. He had run into Little Zhong Yi a few times in the past and his strongest impression about her was how bright and determined her eyes were.
He felt that she wasn’t like how the others portrayed her to be but as he didn’t really know her at the time, speaking up for her would only bring about mockery.
Even so, he still preferred Big Zhong Yi to Little Zhong Yi. The innocent and tender Big Zhong Yi fulfilled all of his imagination for his puppy love. It was said that she would save her own pocket money and buy food for stray cats and help injured students with their wounds. Much like a female lead in a novel, she was pure and nice.
Ren DongZhi’s feelings would have been hidden inside of him forever except that their family business’s headquarter was relocating and Ren DongZhi would be relocating with his family. He would have to transfer to a different school.
One way or another, he wanted to let her know his feelings for her.
Ren DongZhi wrote a love letter to Big Zhong Yi and had someone pass it onto her during sports day.
He was too nervous at the time and almost bit his own tongue. As such, he had forgotten to specify that he was talking about Zhong Yi in Class #1.
By the time he had recollected himself, Ren DongZhi quickly ran after his classmate. He wanted to see if his classmate had delivered the letter to the wrong person and always wanted to see Big Zhong Yi’s reaction.
Even though he was fairly certain that Big Zhong Yi would not accept his profession of fondness toward him.
