Chapter 747: Temporary Reunion
All three girls began crying as they dived onto Kana hugging her tightly. Rain had already finished healing her wounds. Kana's babies and herself all cried while hugging each other. Creige stood at the side with a warm smile on his face as he watched the scene in front of him. The only one finding the situation not heartwarming was the strange man who was still being smashed into the ground by Yana's gravity.
Kana never thought she would get to hold her babies so soon. They had each grown up to be beautiful, strong young women. She could not be any more proud of her babies. Angelica seemed to be crying the most. Her goal had always been to become so strong that no one could take her Mama away again. Seeing her Mama hurt in such a way pained her to no end.
The girls cried themselves until they had no more tears. Only then did Yana speak: "Mama, you are not a bad mother at all. You are the most caring mother in any of the realms. We have worked hard just so we can each meet up with you again. While this meeting will be short, we promise to never give up and will reach the sea of stars. Then we will break into Aurora and beat up that old baldy."
"Yana is right, Mama, I worked hard to gain the power I have now. I even faced off with the goddess of life to help you as much as I can. Even now, I still work hard every day to make sure I can stand next to you once you finally reach the sea of stars. I know I speak for all of us sisters, even Bell, who is not here with us now when I say we will never think of you as a bad mother. You gave us life. You gave us the love and care that we will remember for all eternity." Angelica's voice trembled as she held back another shower of tears.
Rain reached over and rubbed Angelica's head as she looked at Kana. "You are always on our mind. Even though I am the weakest here and am starting off later than everyone else, I am working hard to reach the same height as everyone else. But we can feel pain too, you know. Hearing you apologize to us and tell us you are a bad mother is like stabbing us in the heart."
"Mmm, I agree." Yana nodded her head. She agreed wholeheartedly with what Rain said.
"Yeah, Rain is right, so no more of that, okay?" Angelica scolded. She never wished to hear such words from her Mama's mouth again!
"Okay…" Kana lowered her head like a child being scolded for something she did wrong.
Creige chuckled as he finally knelt down next to them. He was happy that everything that needed to be said was said. He spread his arms and wrapped his baby girls and his wife in a big hug. "To see our family together, even if it is for a short time, I am very happy."
"Yeah, wait, how are you all here!?" Kana asked. No one seemed to care about the groaning self proclaimed lord of darkness in the background.
"Before we answer that, Kana, who is this little one?" Creige motioned with his head behind him. A young girl with blue hair who was hiding behind a frozen bush quickly ducked her head back behind it when she realized she was caught.
"Ahh! Kori! Come to Mama!" Kana shouted, her words not stunning the others at all. They all knew how kind hearted Kana was. She would take in any lost soul she found and treat them like her own.
"But… I might hurt them…." Kori stepped out from behind the bush, the ground freezing under her feet.
Angelica was the first to move as she walked over to Kori. Her ghostly form was not affected at all by the ice element. Kori, who was frozen in place, was lifted right up off the ground and held in Angelica's corporeal arms. "As an elemental, you need to imagine compressing your element inside you and taking it into your body."
Kori nodded her head and did her best to do as Angelica had said. But she only managed to bring it into where it would only affect where she stood, much like Kana's death element. Angelica smiled and patted the little girl's head. "It's not your fault. This world is restricting you. But at least now you can be near others without harming them."
"Thank you…. Miss…" Kori did not know who Angelica was, but she was truly grateful for her teachings.
"That is big sister Angelica. And over there is Big Sister Yana and Big Sister Rain. And the tall, handsome man is our Handsome Papa." Angelica said with a smile as she walked back over to the rest.
Kori's little cheeks blushed as she lowered her head and said: "Big Sister Angelica, Big Sister Rain, Big Sister Yana, Handsome Papa…."
"Good!" Angelica smiled and poked Kori's forehead before passing her over to Kana. When Kori felt Kana's warmth, she immediately turned into a small animal and snuggled into her embrace. "Mama, sorry, Kori was not helpful…."
"You are not at fault. We are both restricted in our powers." Kana rubbed Kori's head and stood up. "Let's finish this bastard off before we talk more."
Now that she had calmed down and got everything out of her system, Kana felt much lighter. Her gaze turned cold as she turned towards the strange man who had caused her so much harm. "You came here shouting that you were some lord of darkness, but now you are nothing more than a bug squashed under my daughter's spell. My powers are heavily restricted here. So even if you did bring me off this planet, you would have quickly died. My soul may not be able to do much to you, but when my full power is back, things would be very different."
"Hoho! Why not give him a taste of it then?" A familiar voice rang out behind the group. Everyone turned to see a familiar old man standing there. But instead of smiling like usual, his eyes were cold as ice. "I will temporarily lift the restrictions of this world so you can teach this man what it means to touch the one that will take my throne."
