Chapter 1156 First Trial Part 9
Chapter 1156 First Trial Part 9
1156 First Trial Part 9
Kana stared down at the wave of soldiers who were all looking back up at her. That was until a man appeared in the sky not far from here. "You…. Who are you? What did you do with the Pope?"
"Hmm? He's gone. He was too busy worshiping a false god and thinking he could cause chaos to summon that idiot to this world. But guess what!" Kana reached out her hand and tore space. Seconds later, a figure suddenly got dragged through the tear and was standing in the sky next to Kana, being held by his neck. "This is the god you people of the church worship! He is not a god but just a low level devil!" "You! Let go of me! Do you know who I am!?" The man in Kana's hand struggled with all his might, but the large dragon claw that had clenched his throat was not something he could easily remove!
"Yes, I know who are you. And this is why Big Sister Camlia will love to hear about your antics." Kana replied as she looked at the man with a bright smile. She then reached her free hand into another tear and pulled another figure out. This figure had some kind of red jam stuck to her cheek, and her cheeks were bulging out. She looked around in confusion for a moment before turning to see Kana's smiling eyes looking back at her. "Hmmm? You have my scent?"
"Big Sister Camlia, you do not know it, but we are bound by blood. But that is not the reason I brought you here. Take a look at this man." Kana moved the devil struggling in her claws over to show Camlia.
"Hmmm? This is the idiot of the first level of hell?" Camlia frowned. "Why is he here?"
"He wanted to use the church of the mortal realm to get them to open a gate. Once they did, they could invade this realm and take it over. Then he would be king," Kana replied.
"How did you….." The devil stared at Kana in shock. All his plans were out in the open like some book people could read for free.
"Hmmm? Really? No wonder I haven't heard much about reports from your floor. I just figured it was because you guys had nothing good to say." Camlia's eyes narrowed. She waved her hand and wrapped the devil up in her power. Kana quickly retracted her hand and let Camlia have him.
"Big Sister…." Kana flew over and hugged Camlia. "If this is not an illusion, then make sure when this body returns back to her original self to take care of her and accept her as your sister. Other wise, our time in the sea of stars would be for naught."
"You….." Camlia's eyes began to water up. She wanted to call out Kana's name, but Kana shook her head. "I am no longer that person. I am Kana." Kana replied and flew back. She then looked at the man still standing there in the sky with his church robes on and waved her hand. The man suddenly disappeared without a trace. She then turned back to the soldiers who had yet to move and yelled out: "So what will it be!?"
"We will retreat!" A voice came from below. Kana looked to see a man on a scaled horse looking up at her. From the looks of him, he seemed to be a general. "What you said makes a lot of sense. There is not much difference between us besides how we look. Everyone looks different. Short, tall, skinny, fat. People with big muscles. They range the same for all races, and just like all races, there are the good and the bad. I can not speak for those in a higher rank than me, but I, for one, will no longer fight this war with my soldiers. We will go back to our homeland and see if we can make our king change his mind."
"We will do the same!"
"So will we!"
"We will all do the same!"
More and more generals voiced their opinions. Even those who did not wish to give up had no choice since their ranks were slowly breaking up. If they continued to try to push for an invasion, it would end up with them fighting one another instead. Kana smiled and nodded her head in approval. "Then I thank you. Please have a safe journey home." Kana was glad. She did not need to shed the blood of these soldiers, some of whom were only here because they were forced to be here. But this was just how the world worked. You either had a say, or you didn't.
"Ummm… Can you tell me who you are?" Camlia was still curious about this person.
"You will find out in time." Kana smiled and patted Camlia's head before opening a tear in space and gently pushing Camlia inside. Camlia could only stare at Kana with wide eyes as she fell into the tear, watching as it closed right before her eyes.
Kana felt a little guilty. But she had to be sure everything had its own course. She only brought Camlia in to take care of the issue at hand. The rest will be dealt with later. She also knew Camlia could come to this realm any time she pleased. But she did not wish to have Camlia get attached to the current her. That was reserved for the Kana of this world. Whether this place was an illusion was something Kana did not know. If it was, it was very realistic to the point that even she felt at home. But if it wasn't, then it was a world unlike her last. She helped it a little and would allow things to go smoothly from here on out. Kana did not know what waited for her at the end of this trial, but she already felt a slight tug on her body. She looked up at the clear blue skies above and smiled. [Well Done….]
[You passed….]
