Chapter 254 - What It Means To Be Strong
Creige narrowed his eyes at the king, causing the King to flinch slightly. "Do I need to ask?"
The king was at a loss of what to say. He had no idea why Creige had suddenly barged into his throne room while he was talking about new policies and tossed everyone out. "Umm… Do you need more property?"
"No." Creige answered with no expression on his face.
"Money?" The king could only think of these two things. The last time Creige showed up, he demanded one hundred thousand gold. Before that, he demanded a bunch of property. As the king, he knew he should not give in to such demands to someone who is just a regular citizen, but the person in front of him could easily destroy the entire city like it was nothing! Even he, the ruler, thought to be the strongest person in the kingdom, was not even close to being his match.
Hearing the king making wild guesses caused Creige to frown. "Are you dumb?"
"Huh?" The king was surprised at this question.
"I asked if you were stupid." Creige did not elaborate any more than that. His words were cryptic to the point that the king really had no idea how to answer anything.
"I…" The king did not know what to say. He couldn't think of an answer. Was he stupid? Creige's words reverberated in his mind causing him to second guess his own intelligence. The only answer he could come up with was: "I am not sure."
"You are not sure!?" Creige's anger began to rise as the room was flooded with an oppressive force.
The king on the throne almost pooped himself when the oppressive force pressed down on him. He began sweating bullets, thinking he was about to die at any second. "Creige, if you have something to say, then please say it. I have no clue what you are getting at. Please excuse my own stupidity!"
"Tch…" Creige clicked his tongue. "You really are stupid… My wife's homeland is about to be invaded, and your fatass is sitting on this throne with his hand in his robes, trying to find that thing between your legs. Do you have an excuse as to why you are not mobilizing your troops and helping my wife's homeland? "
The king froze. He really wanted to scream: 'Why was it all about his wife again!? The money, the property, all of it was demanded by this man, all for his wife! Just how whipped was he!? He makes me want to ditch my wives and marry him!' But he, of course, never dared to say such things out loud. Instead, he asked: "Explain. I have not heard of any happenings in Rural as of late."
"This is why you are stupid. Should I find a replacement for your throne? Someone who is smart? I think I saw some spiked monkeys in the forest not far from here who can take over your position for you. I am sure they will do a better job." Creige really dug into the king. Anything that had to deal with his wife he took seriously.
The king wanted to cry hearing Creige's words. He was actually saying he, the king of Stone Hammer for many generations, was dumber than a spiked monkey! Trying to repress his anger that was beginning to well up, he asked: "Care to explain to me what is going on? If I can, I will do all I can to help."
"You see, my adorable, wonderful wife, who is the light of my life, is out on a training journey trying to become stronger so people can no longer bully her." At this point, the king wanted to yell: 'Your damn wife is just as scary as you are!'
Creige ignored the strange expression on Creige's face and continued: "But while she was out those people from that stinky feet church (Far off in a hotel in the Yuthia Theocracy, a certain stinky footed goddess sneezed.) has amassed an army so big there isn't much the Rural kingdom can do to stop it. Yet here you are, sitting on your throne, being fat while doing nothing to help. I want you to take every soldier you have in this country and send them to the rural kingdom to aid them. I will also be going to offer my services."
The king had tears welling up in his eyes as he screamed out in his mind: 'If you're going, why the hell do I need soldiers and why the hell are you even here demanding me to send soldiers!? Can't you just wave your hand and make them all disappear?'
"So, will you do it or not? I do not mind a change in kingly reign." Creige gave no option for the king to say no.
Smiling bitterly, trying to hold his anger and humiliation, the king said: "I can do this. Someone come! Send a message to the Rural King that says that the Stone Hammer Kingdom will always come to its aid in times of need. We will send back up of our entire force to help fight back against the siege of those damn humans."
A figure came out of nowhere and bowed their head to the king: "Right away, your majesty. " This same figure gave a nervous glance at the man standing not too far away before disappearing. This person had to fight for this job in order to leave the throne room where the pressure was just too much for them. A few of his fellow comrades held their eyes after he had punched them in it.
Creige nodded his head in approval before saying: "Good. I will now head to Rural myself." And then disappeared without a trace. Only then did the king slump down in his chair and wipe the sweat from his forehead. "That damn man is too scary. Even his wife is scary. How did those two people get together anyway? "
