Chapter 413 - Distortion
"Kana, hurry up!" Eie yelled out. She was the one who had to go last while she made sure all the systems were normal. She was getting impatient because she wanted to go check out this new world.
"Girls, hold on to me." Kana did not want the girls to go through by themselves. So she had Yana on her back and was holding both Rain and Angelica's hand. Once everyone was ready, the four passed through the star hopper.
Eie watched her instruments closely, making sure everything was normal. But as she was reading one of the instruments, she saw three spikes in the data. "What is this?" She suddenly had a bad feeling. She flew over to the monitor. The drone was pointing towards where Kana would exit from, only to see Kana appear out of thin air but no one else. "Where are the girls!? Where are they!?"
"What's wrong?" Camlia asked just before she was about to step into the grey liquid of the star hopper.
"Kana went through with her girls, but now they are gone!" Eie was panicking. She never wanted anything to happen to Kana's babies!
"What!?" Camlia ran over to the screen to see Creige trying to calm a panicking Kana. "Damnit! Eie, do you have any way to track them?"
"I am trying!" Eie had tears in her eyes as she tried to figure out what was going on and where the girls went.
"Keep at it. I will stay here with you. Since Kana summoned me again after growing stronger, I can communicate with her through our summon connection. I will keep her up to date. You keep trying to find the location of my goddaughters." Camlia did not waste any time and immediately contacted Kana. "Kana, there seems to have been a strange phenomenon with the machine. Eie is trying to figure out what happened and where the girls went."
"I see… Creige and I will search around this world for the time being in case they were kicked out somewhere else. Let me know if you find anything." Kana was very worried. She hoped nothing bad has happened to her babies.
"Kana, don't worry, we will find them. Even if I have to rip this whole universe apart to do so, we will find them and bring them home." Creige could see the tears welling up in Kana's eyes. Her body was shaking as she tried to remain calm.
"Creige, If something happens to them I…" Kana had almost lost her girls once she did not wish to lose them again.
"Don't worry. I will be here with you. We will find them together." Creige said warmly as he hugged Kana. She did not get to see the glint that flashed in his eyes.

"Mama!?" Rain looked around, her eyes red from crying. When she came through, she was all alone. Her mama nor her sisters were nowhere to be seen. Where she was, was a very dark place. If it wasn't for her night vision, she would not even be able to see her hand in front of her face. She shivered slightly as she looked around. But what she saw was something she wished she did not see. A sea of dead bodies covered the ground. All except the small spot where she was standing. her lip pouted as her tears fell as she yelled out: "Mama, I want to go home!"
Angelica was in another unknown place, except the world around her was much different. There was a sea of white clouds as far as she could see. But floating within these white clouds seemed to be large landmasses. But nothing surprised Angelica much about this except for the fact that she was able to walk on these clouds. She spun around to check out all of her surroundings, looking for her sisters and mama. "Mama? Rain!? Yana!? Mama!!!"
Yana's head tilted to the side as she held up a skinny black figure by the neck. It looked like a dog type creature, but it was no dog she had ever seen. The skinny black figure growled and flailed around, trying to get out of Yana's grasp, but no matter what it did, it could not wiggle itself free. "Don't blame me for killing you when you attacked me first." Yana's words were as cold as ice. With a flick of her wrist, there was a cracking sound. And the flailing skinny black figure suddenly stopped moving.
Yana tossed it aside and only then took a look as to where she was. "Hmmm? This place reeks of blood." The landscape was dyed red. The sky was also a bloody red color. "It also seems the other me retreated inside. But I guess this is natural since she is timid, to begin with. At least this was the right decision. Otherwise, we would be dead."

"What is this!?" Eie looked at her data. No matter how many times she went over the data, it was still the same. There had been an interference from an unknown source. It had nothing to do with her machine itself. It was working perfectly fine.
"What did you find?" Camlia asked.
"This data shows that something interfered with the star hopper from the location Kana and Creige are at! Something somehow caused a minor distortion three times but only on the girls' wavelengths, sending them to some unknown place… Camlia, what do we do!? I have no idea where the girls are." Eie bit her lip and flew back over to her monitors, and began compiling the data again. This was all she could do at this time was to check her data over and over again and try to pinpoint where the girls went.
Camlia felt something was off. If the distortion came from the other side where Creige and Kana were, then it was something that came from that world. But then… Camlia's brain began to turn as she asked herself: "Why did Creige suddenly decide he wanted to go first? Normally he would just let Kana do as she pleased. He wouldn't do something like this would he?"
