Chapter 459 - As Time Passed

The old man scratched his head and looked at the little figure. After some thought, he said: "No! You will not disappear. As you are a living being now, I can not allow you to disappear just because of me. Let me do this." The old man tapped Aruya's forehead making her glow brightly. Her body suddenly grew into that of a young teenage girl with a white flowing dress and a pure golden halo on her head. Two large golden feathered wings came out of her back. On her forehead, a small halo with wings attached to it formed between her brow. The old man looked on in satisfaction. "There, you will no longer disappear and will always be with this one. Protect her well and help guide her through the trials ahead. You two are now one and the same."

Aruya looked at the old man confused but quickly bowed her head. In truth, she did not wish to disappear, but she had committed herself to that fate, but now she was able to live as long as Kana lived. She couldn't ask for much more than this. She was truly thankful that the old man was so willing to do this for her. He was someone who did things on a whim a lot of times, so for him to actually do this for her because he felt it was the right thing to do meant a lot. "Thank you for your grace."

??

"Haha! You are too formal…" The old man waved her off. "I will be heading out then. During this time, I suggest you get used to your new body and work on gathering the holy element in this room as well. You could be stuck here for five to ten years or more."

"I will do as you say." Aruya replied as she nodded her head. The old man smiled and then disappeared. Seeing him go, Aruya finally looked down at her new body and smiled brightly. She began to twirl around the room over to the mirror, where she got a good look at herself. "Hehe! I have to say I am very pretty! I will need to thank Kana for this as well. If not for her, I might not have had the chance to be like this. It seems the old man puts some importance on her. In the future, The two of us will share the same fate, so I must be strong in order to help her." With this thought in mind, Aruya went to the bed and sat next to the golden egg, and closed her eyes as she slowly took in the holy element that filled the room.

As the years passed by, Kana's home in the realm of gods had become a place many stayed away from. The immense pressure around the house kept many from crossing the street. This was because Camlia and Dandan had been fighting every day. Camlia had never once stopped training Dandan as she thought of Dandan as one of her kin since they were both chimeras.

As for Creige, he spent his time watching over his daughters as they underwent their trials. When they cleared each one and grew stronger, he would make the next trial to match their new strength. He kept a close eye on his connection with Kana every second of the day as well. Besides all of this, he continued forging things for Eie and weapons and armor to sell in his shop across the street.

As for Eie, besides making a lot of progress over the years on her new systems for the star hopper, she had another issue. Tri'an was much more than she seemed. She was still a she, but she also had another part that was male, adding in Tri'an constantly making advances on Eie, she eventually caved. As such, the two were now an item. But they seemed to be very happy as they were working harder than ever.

The three girls were starting to grow. The time that Kana had been in her dormant state as she changed her evolution path had now exceeded ten years. Luckily the rate of growth was not much, and the girls now only looked like they were ten years of age. The look of innocence that was once in their eyes was all but lost. It only showed when they were talking about their mama. But other than that, they always had a much more mature look in their eyes as if they were wise beyond their years. In truth, this was the case due to the trials always being upgraded by Creige. He had taught them much more than they would have learned going to school over the past few years. So much so that they were on the verge of becoming named gods.

As for the mortal plane, things had been quiet the past few years. Tilia slowly settled herself in as queen of the Munas Continent and the leading superpower of the world. Her reign was much more stable after what had happened to those who tried to rebel. Although she did not like the idea, it had worked as a deterrent as she had planned. An established connection to Klipriron, the lich domain, was also made. This allowed for free trade between the two continents.

The only thing that had been worrisome as of late was the appearance of insectoids from the underground nation that seemed to be bent on the downfall of every citizen of the surface, no matter what race they were. But there had been no invasions, more like small skirmishes. With the help of the three desolate race princesses, their race had settled down in Stone Hammer and were now living as ordinary people. This meant the men of the race were now freely able to marry any girl they came to like. It was decided that even if their blood line became diluted, it was still better than dying off completely. But besides this, the three girls kept the mansion Kana used to line in safe and watched over it faithfully.

Ceilie and Nergal had left the Rural Kingdom once again. After things had settled, Ceilie went back on her mission to become strong. Although she knew she could no longer catch up to Kana, she hoped one day she could eventually ascend to the realm of gods herself.

The only ones who no one had heard anything about over the years was Kiliffia. She had disappeared after entering the forbidden swamp with Methie. What happened to them, no one knows. The last message that Tilia got from her was the fact that she was entering the swamp. She had sent out a few teams in search, but every time they came back empty handed. Even Yuthia and Sei tried to search for them but still came up with nothing. As such a memorial was built in Kiliffia's honor for her role in the war against the devils. No one seemed to care about Methie being missign too.

Besides looking for Kiliffia the two goddesses never left their mountain top unless necessary which meant their daily lives did not change. In other words Sei spent most of her time pampering Yuthia while Yuthia lazed around all day.

After twelve long years from the day Kana entered her golden egg, A cracking sound was heard inside a room filled with holy element.
