Chapter 1413 Thrilling Horror

Kisa’s face scrunched up as she thought of her way up to the spot. With how hard it was for her to move, the ten-minute trek would take a lot out of her, and the thought of a 20-minute round trip was daunting, especially when she was on crutches. But she put on a brave face and approached Gilbert with a plan to haggle. That was until he shot her a cold, hard look that cut off her words mid -sentence. It made her grit her teeth and grip her crutches a little tighter in frustration.

Gilbert’s eyes darted down to his wristwatch and spoke with a flat tone, “It’s been a minute already.”

She could not help but notice that it was the very watch she had gifted him earlier and her anger dissipated just a little bit, thinking no matter what, he still carried with him the things she gave him.

She opened the car door, after a quick glance at the road ahead, she turned to him and asked, And if I don’t come back in half an hour, what then?”

“Then I’ll leave you in the cemetery for the night and pick you up tomorrow.” He smiled coldly and added, “It’ll be thrilling for you, spending the night in a cemetery.”

‘Thrilling? More like downright horrifying!’ Kisa thought to herself, feeling a shiver run down her spine.

‘He is anything but considerate!’ She shot him an angry look, then grabbed her crutches and stepped out of the car.

Just as she made her way out, Gilbert’s voice rang out from inside the car. “Hurry up, it’s already been three minutes.”

She turned to see him sitting back in his seat, holding a cigarette between his fingers, but not lighting it. A wicked grin tugged at the corner of his lips, and she realized that he would never give her a few extra

minutes. With a sigh, she steeled herself and started up the path, making her way as quickly as possible with her crutches.

In the car, Gilbert was completely lost in thought, staring at her silhouette with blank eyes filled with an unshakeable sadness. He could no longer understand Kisa, unsure which of her words were true. All he could do now was keep her close, even if she truly wanted to end his life, it did not matter.

The weather was chilly, and the graveyard felt even more desolate. Kisa hobbled with her cane, making her way to Lea’s tombstone. She was surprised to find several fresh bouquets of flowers laid out in front of it clearly, someone had just visited Lea. Beside the tombstone lay a broken wine bottle, its contents still unabsorbed by the ground, proof that the wine had just been spilled

But Kisa could not see anyone around, which was strange, as there was only one entrance, and she had not seen anyone on her way in.

‘Did the person leave just before I arrived?’

Kisa crouched down and laid the bundle of white chrysanthemums she was carrying in front of Lea’s tombstone. As she gazed at Lea’s smiling face on the gravestone, she could not help but wonder if the person who came to visit was Anthony.

Suddenly, a strange sound interrupted her thoughts. Hearing strange noises in a graveyard always gave her a creepy feeling, and the chilly weather only amplified it It sounded like someone trying to muffle their screams, struggling to break free. Kisa furrowed her brow and looked around, and suddenly she saw a pair of feet behind another gravestone. She was terrified

She took two steps back and stared at the feet. They were a man’s feet, and he seemed to be struggling as his feet kept rubbing against the ground. Kisa looked back at the fresh flowers in front of

Lea’s tombstone, and the unabsorbed wine, wondering if the feet belonged to Anthony With this in mind, she bravely walked toward the feet
