Chapter 1421 Don’t Worry, You Won’t Die From Crashing

“They wouldn’t come over in the helicopter if it wasn’t fixed yet. Don’t you worry, you won’t die in a crash.”

Kisa rolled her eyes at the second half of the sentence, but at that moment, Kelvin and Davian joined them. Kisa looked at Davian, surprised to see him alone. “Where’s Felicity? Isn’t she coming with us?”

“She’s busy with some business here, she’ll come find me in Calthon later,” Davian replied. He had changed a lot since his past days of being emotionally distant. Now, when he talked about his beloved, his eyes shone with happiness. novelbin

Kelvin sat behind Kisa and handed her a newspaper. “Have you read today’s news? It’s a big one.”

Curious, Kisa opened the newspaper. It was a report on Anthony, who was said to have gone insane. The report included some photos of Anthony acting wild on the street, tightly clutching a small bottle in his arms. Kisa assumed it was Lea’s ashes. He had finally decided to take her out and about. With this news, Adrien would surely believe that Anthony was truly insane, and would not kill him to keep him quiet.

Kisa set the paper aside and looked out the window at the bright scenery. She could not help but feel emotional. This trip had been eventful, but everyone had returned safely, except for Lea. However, she had also discovered Adrien’s true nature and found Sara. The only missing piece was David, whose location she still needed to search for in Oceanville. According to Vivian’s intel, David had vanished without a trace in Oceanville.

As she thought of Oceanville, she thought of the Webb family and Peter, and then of Jolina. Jolina had returned to her hometown for a while now, but Kisa still had not received any news from her. She had a strange feeling about Jolina’s sudden departure.

Just then, Kelvin tapped her shoulder from behind. “Kisa, Vivian asked me to give you a message.”

Kisa turned around, her back to Gilbert, and leaned in toward Kelvin with excitement shining in her eyes. “Is it true?” she asked eagerly. “What did she say to you?”

“She said she’s very grateful to you,” Kelvin replied, “She said that without you, she may never have escaped her darkest days. She also said that she’s realized how to live a better life and won’t dwell on that person anymore.”

Kisa nodded with relief, “I’m glad to hear that.”

“Vivian also mentioned that the person you’re looking for might be in Oceanville. She doesn’t want to search anymore, but she wished you good luck in your quest.”

Vivian was referring to David. With that said, Kisa knew she must make the trip to Oceanville.

Kelvin suddenly became curious. “Kisa, who are you looking for? Tell me, I know Oceanville like the back of my hand. I have connections there, just give me a name and within three days, my people will find them.”

“Are you familiar with the area?”

Kelvin raised an eyebrow, pride filling his voice, “Of course I am! I go there often; how could I not be?”

“Okay, if you have the time, maybe you could…”

Before Kisa could finish her sentence, a stern voice interrupted, “If you two keep on chatting, I’ll have to throw you out.”

Kisa froze, realizing she had forgotten about Gilbert’s presence by her side.
