from him.

Carolyn was shocked and immediately held onto Adrien. “It must be the scene’s requirements or the director’s request. Sharon would never do that on purpose.”

As she said that, she even shook Adrien’s arm.

The latter gave her a doting look before turning to Peter. “Alright, alright. It was just an act. Don’t take it for real.”

Peter narrowed his eyes coldly but did not say anything as he got up and went to the

bathroom.
