Chapter 1210 Does It Hurt Your Belly?

“Okay, put it back. I’ll take the red one on me.”

Just then, Kisa came out of the restroom. The dark purple dress on her looked even more gorgeous than the black one earlier.

Felicity was depressed when she saw the stark contrast between the fashion sense of Gilbert and of Davian. Then, she started wondering why she fell in love with Davian in the first place.

Kisa’s fair skin contrasted nicely with the purple dress, and she looked elegant. If the black color dress was sensual, then the purple one was elegant and classy.

Kisa carried the heavy dress and walked up to Gilbert. “What about this one?”

The dress had a high waist-bustier ball gown design with just the right amount of detailing around the waistline, outlining the luscious upper half of her body to the fullest. With Kisa’s height, coupled with the high waistline design, it made her lower body look more elongated. Even without the high heels, her body proportions still looked perfect.

Gilbert raised his hand and stroked the side of her waist. “Is it tight? Does it hurt your belly?”

Kisa looked at him in bewilderment. “The belly is not here but beneath the dress. Even if it feels tight, it’s the waistline.”

Felicity could not help but laugh out loud. “That’s right. The dress is high-waisted, so it won’t affect the belly. Your point of attention is too funny, don’t you think?”

Gilbert ignored her and kept his eyes on Kisa. “So, does this dress fit you or not? If it doesn’t, let’s change it.”

“It fits just right, and the back straps don’t even need to be tightened,” Kisa said and turned around to show him the back.

Gilbert nodded his head.

Felicity got up and pulled Kisa over to the two rows of high heels. “These are the custom designs I had people send over. They are your size, so pick a pair and try them on.

Kisa nodded, but Gilbert suddenly stopped her. “No need to. I have gotten shoes for you.” Kisa was surprised. “You even prepared my shoes?” She was really flattered. ‘Doesn’t he still resent and snub me? Yet, he had prepared shoes for me without my knowledge.’ Felicity also looked surprised. “I didn’t know that you were so thoughtful.” While she said that, she shot Davian a look. Davian felt miserable, telling himself that he must not allow Felicity to see Gilbert and Kisa display their affection for each other next time.

Gilbert quickly brought a shoe box over from the doorway. “Try them on. I bought them when I shopped for the phone this morning.”

Kisa took the shoe box and opened it. It was a pair of espadrilles.

Felicity laughed again. “Mr. Kooper, we are going to the party of the Mullen family, Athadale’s richest family. People from the higher echelon in the city will all be present. Won’t this embarrass Kisa by asking her to wear espadrilles? Espadrilles with evening gowns are such a funny combo.”

Kisa also felt the same. But, since Gilbert had made an effort to buy them for her, she did not want to disappoint him. besides, she knew that he was bad-tempered. If she refused him outright, he would definitely be upset.

While Kisa was thinking of that, Gilbert suddenly took the pair of espadrilles out of the box, squatted down, and placed them at her feet. “Here, try them on.”

Now, Kisa did not even have an excuse to refuse especially when he had crouched down in front of her. She looked at Felicity, lifted the hem of her dress, and took off her slippers when Gilbert suddenly took hold of her foot.
