Reborn Through Fire By Kazuya Higan Chapter 1358

Chapter 1358 Can’t You Coax Me?

In fact, she had thought of a method yesterday, but it would inevitably break Gilbert’s heart. Feeling upset at the thought, Kisa stood up and silently walked outside.

Just then, Gilbert quickly pulled her back and retorted, “What are you trying to do by leaving right after I complained about you? Can’t you coax me a little?”

Kisa looked at him quietly, while he looked irritated.

“I reproached you because of those hurtful things you said. Yet you’re acting unhappy about it. Kisa, do you care about me at all? I can’t wait to love you with all my heart and mind, yet you keep doubting me. What do you want from me?”

Kisa secretly clenched her hands at her sides, in a predicament. If she wanted to use that method to get to Adrien, then this was the best opportunity to ‘break up’ with Gilbert.

She had thought to explain the situation to Gilbert before, asking him to stage a ‘break-up’ with her, and then she would pretend to work with Adrien against him. After she had gained Adrien’s trust, she could find out what Adrien’s plan was.

But Adrien was cunning. If their ‘break-up’ was not realistic enough, she would have difficulty in gaining his trust. This was the only chance, and she did not dare to risk it.

After thinking long and hard, Kisa pulled her hand out of Gilbert’s and looked at him with indifferent eyes. You deceived and hurt me so badly last time. Now, how do you expect me to treat you?”

Gilbert was struck dumb and looked at her, feeling as if he no longer knew her. ‘She was just fine last night and this morning. Why did she seem to be a different person all of a sudden?’ He murmured, “I know I’m wrong. How do you want me to make it up to you? Tell me, I promise you I will do it as best as

I can.” “Heh!” Kisa snickered. “That jail sentence back then caused me to go through a miscarriage. Unless that child of mine can come back to life, I will never forgive you in this life.”

“Like I said, our children aren’t dead. They are Andrew and Ada.”

“It’s not them.” Kisa shook her head. “It was the other one, the dark purple, completely breathless baby that I saw. That was my baby.”

Gilbert lowered his eyes. Before this, he had suspected that she was pregnant with triplets. Now, seeing how confident she was, he started to believe that she was really carrying triplets at that time.

Kisa took two steps back and stared at him indifferently. “Gilbert, never be nice to me again, because your kindness now is ridiculously fake compared to your cruelty in the past.”

“Fake?”

“How can it not be fake? Can I believe the kindness of a man who used to shout at me and could not wait to see me dead? Gilbert, I’m not stupid now. Do you think you can still make me fall for your flattery?”

Gilbert look at her, his eyes reddening. “So the past few days, you-”

“The past few days?” Kisa smirked. “I was depressed for the past few days because Lea’s departure had been too much of a blow to me. Since you showed me kindness, I had no reason not to enjoy it, as long as I knew clearly that your kindness was just a show. In fact, you can even continue to be good to me if you want, but I won’t be moved.”

She felt suffocated after saying this, as she could not bear to see the indignant and hurt look in Gilbert’s eyes. Shooting an indifferent glance at him, Kisa then turned to leave.

Just then, Gilbert suddenly pulled her into his arms.
