Chapter 274 - No Biggie
TheRealKlaw: @JasonYang Slim Reaper.....
Although it wasn't too surprising to see Kawhi comment on a video related to Jason considering that he often commented on Jason's posts it was the meaning that had them stunnded.
Everyone that saw the comment were filled with excitement as they understood the meaning behind Kawhi's short comment.
He had given Jason a new nickname. And not just any nickname. It was a nickname that was given to one of the most prolific and unstoppable scorers of Kawhi's era.
Even though Kevind Durant himself wasn't too fond of the nickname that was given to him it was a nickname that matched him perfectly.
He had a slender and lanky build but his amazing ability to put the ball into the basket through a variety of means allowed him to kill his opponents on the court.
For Kawhi to call Jason Slim Reaper it was as though he were saying that he had the potential to reach that level of greatness.
The post by Kawhi created a huge splash online as the nickname began to pick up steam. Now a ton of people were beginning to refer to Jason as Slim Reaper.
Kawi's comment was so shocking that it even picked up the attention of major media outlets as they began to discuss the meaning and impact that it would have.

Back at the apartment. Jason was eating lunch with his parents. It was a Saturday afternoon and the both of them had the day off.
Jason had basketball practice in the morning so now he was free to just hang around at the house. As he was stuffing his face full of rice the news on TV was talking about him and the team again.
His mom frowned "You were right Jaya. If the rest of the world wants to make you guys out as villains you might as well give them what they want.
Even when you guys were just minding your own business last year they were still dragging you guys through the mud."
Shania chuckled "You right Auntie. They really out here saying that he should be acting like a saint when they the ones talkin crazy like they savage.
Now that you givin em a taste of their own medicine they wanna cry and play the victim. That little kiss you blew to the crowd was hilarious Jaya. You really wildin out there."
Jason's dad smiled "I have to agree with Shania. Seeing that on TV was so satisfying. They deserved it. What kind of adults treat a bunch of middle schoolers like that?
The thing that pisses me off the most is that everyone is talking trash about you and the team and yet they want you to be the bigger man.
How does that make any sense? Your a kid while they are a bunch of full grown adults. If anything they should act their age and stop talking crazy."
His mom looked at him "So how has Nate been? You guys stay in touch right?" Jason nodded his head as he swallowed the food that was in his mouth.
"He's been doing good. Last week we were talking about how we should do the whole reunion thing with his dad."
A strange expression came over his dad after he had said that. His mom noticed as she tried to continue the conversation.
"Well, your birthday is coming up soon Jaya. Maybe you can do something with that. I think your uncle would appreciate the chance to celebrate it with you."
Jason turned his head to look over at his dad "What do you think dad?" He took a moment to think before nodding his head.
"That sounds good. Two weeks should be enough to plan something. You just need to talk to Nate. It might be hard to convince his dad to come down to California for no reason."
Jason gave a nod as he went back to eating 'It's already been two months since the school year started. Man, time is moving by so fast.
We're halfway through the regular season and I'm turning 14 soon. It seems like it was just yesterday that I woke up twenty years in the past.'
After lunch Jason went back to the office, aka the room he was using now that Shania had moved in with them, and called Nate.

Jason told Nate that his parents had told him that his birthday would be the perfect opportunity to invite his dad over so that he could be reunited with his brother.
Nate told Jason that it sounded like a good plan and that the only hard part would be convincing his dad to fly down to Riverside.
There really wasn't a reason for them to fly over to California and Nate really wanted this to be a surprise for his dad.
Partly because he wasn't sure how his dad would react if he told him that he was trying to reunite him with his brother.
But Nate promised Jason that he would try his best to come up with something and that he himself really wanted to be there for his birthday.
After they got the serious topic out of the way Nate began to ask Jason how he was doing. Even from all the way in New York he had heard and seen Jason on the news.
He was slightly worried about Jason. He had heard how so many people were making him and the team out to be bad guys.
He didn't want his only cousin that he felt close with to be have any problems. But after a short conversation he remembered how Jason was.
He laughed at himself. He should have known that something like this wasn't enough to really have an impact on his cousin.
At least not negatively. As the conversation went on he was amazed by how happy and excited Jason was to have all these haters posting negative comments about him.
After they were done talking they said their goodbyes as they both hanged up. Nate smiled as he put the cellphone back into his pocket.
'Jaya is really something else. If it was me being dragged through the mud like this I would either be crumbling apart or angry as all hell.
The entire time he was talking about the bad publicity that he and his team were going through he sounded so happy and excited.'
Just then his door swung open. At his door was a short Asian girl with blond highlights in her jet black hair.
She was wearing light blue distressed denim jeans and a black top that showed off her midriff. Her slender 5'5 (1.65m) frame leaned against the doorframe.
She had a mischievous smile on her face as she stared at him "Who were you talking to NateNate?" He gulped "H-hey Chloe."
