Vol. 7 - Chapter 370 - A Job that does exist outside of the myth,

‹Dragon Princess Knight›.

As its name implies, it was one of the pinnacle jobs a ‹Knight Baron› category holder could acquire; an 'Advanced job' which typically revolved around fighting while riding 'dinosaur' category monsters.

It was one of the four ‹Advanced Princess Job› options available for the ‹Princess Knight› job when upgrading to advanced job. Needless to say, the path to this was exceptionally steep; first of all, only a ‹Princess› job holder could acquire ‹Advanced Princess Job› when ranking up, or else this job will appear not appear—just like one category holder couldn't acquire other category job even if they might have fulfilled the condition.

Second was some condition that needed to be fulfilled, just like the condition one would have to fulfill before a job appeared.

It should be the reason why Freck D-san said "no one knows if this job even exists or not".

Fair enough I guess, since there were not that many 'Advanced job' holders in this world either. Furthermore, the job in question was ‹Advanced Princess Job›, the pinnacle of the jobs that reign supreme even in the ‹Dungeon Job›. And while I wouldn't say none at all, the one to reach that summit should have been close to non-existent. It wasn't hard to guess when there were already loads of jobs yet to be discovered.

Further listening to the explanation, the sole explanation I could make out was there did exist one person who managed to acquire ‹Dragon Knight Princess›, though she seems to be the only one, and it should have been so long ago that even the information that it was 'an Advanced job' lost in the passage of time.

However, the ‹Dragon Knight Princess› did exist. Moreover, it's one of the most powerful and popular attacker job classes in ‹Dungeon Activity›.

In the ever-changing ‹Advanced Division: Official Strongest Job Ranking›, it consistently ranked among the top ten, such was the might of this job.

I would say she has a wonderful aspiration to become ‹Dragon Knight Princess›.

Alright, that decides it! I will definitely make sure Aegis-san gets the job of her dream!

That being said, you are now onboard on the train of never-return, Aegis-senpai. Fuhahaha!

"You are in!"

"Fuee?"

A befuddled voice escaped from Aegis-san's when I announced she was accepted amidst the explanation of Freck D-san.

No, not just her, in fact everyone's faces were dyed with an odd expression.

I don't think it was anything strange to announce 'You're in', was it?

"Err?"

"I said you are welcome to join ‹Eden›, Aegis-san. If you don't mind joining sub-guild, I would absolutely love to have you. But of course, I will make sure to teach ‹Training Manual›, after all, our goal is the ‹Dragon Knight Princess›."

"No, no, no, did you even listen to the explanation? ‹Dragon Knight Princess› is just some fairy tale, an ethereal job, a figment of someone's imagination. Even before that, there were not even dragons in this world, so how can there be a job when it requires you to fight riding on a dragon."

Recovering from his stupified state, Freck D-san hurriedly followed up to clear the misunderstanding.

"How do you even know there are no dragons? The highest dungeon ever cleared is only Advanced-low, no?"

"Well, that's......"

My words left Freck D-san at a loss for words.

Of course, when the highest cleared dungeon is just Adv-low, how could the residents of this would know about the creatures inhabiting the Adv-mid and above dungeons?

Freck D-san's claim about 'dragon doesn't exist' was only based on the data from the dungeon cleared until now.

However I know. There were the sub-dragon species like ‹Wyvern›, ‹Hydra› and ‹Orochi› etc in the bottom floor of one of the Advanced-mid dungeons, ‹Rugged Claw Volcano Dungeon›. Not just that, after that, there would be real dragons showing their presence at various events.

The condition for the ‹Dragon Knight Princess› was ‹Tame a Dragon Species›.

‹Taming› was mainly used by jobs like ‹Monster Tamer› or ‹Tamer›, which allow the user to recruit monsters, and this enables you to have monsters fight on behalf of your character.

Similarly, while limited to a section of monsters for riding, ‹Knight› also also had skill to tame them. The idea was by taming a ‹Dragon Species›, the path to ‹Dragon Knight Princess› would be available to upgrade for.

Also the dinosaurs that appear in ‹Dinosaur's Hill Dungeon›, or plesiosaur and Pterosaurs that appeared in other dungeons weren't exactly dragon species. Dinosaur's type monsters were closer to lizard type monsters as far as it concerned ‹Dungeon Activity›.

For instances, the ‹Dinosaur Killer LV5› skill of ‹Dinosaur Slayer Sword› wouldn't work against someone like ‹Wyvern›, so mindlessly rushing thinking you have grasped dragon’s achilles heel in the form of ‹Dinosaur Slayer Sword› would only result in you getting a thrashing.

Well it would be hella suspicious if I talked about the information of Advanced dungeons so I avoided straight explanation and spoke vaguely.

"‹Eden› is paving the path to clear the Advanced dungeons one day. Maybe, a ‹Dragon Species› might really appear among one of them?"

"Advanced rank!? But I heard even ‹King Absolute› is struggling on the upper floors!"

"Y, Yeah. I also think clearing an Advanced dungeon would be a trial in itself, no?"

Both Freck D-san and Aegis-san muttered in shock. Though as far as we have enough ‹Advanced Job Ascension Ticket›, it's a matter of no problem to me.

‹Eden› has already secured three of them. And by the time we reach Intermediate-high, we should be able to secure two more.

Our preparation for the challenge was advancing as I had planned out. So we basically don't have any roadblock.

"It might be difficult, but not impossible. If you're going to set your goal, the higher the better. It's a pretty basic phrase, no? That's why you shouldn't give up on acquiring ‹Dragon Knight Princess› yet."

When I make that declaration, Aegis-san removes her helmet, the tiara-shaped headgear, and holds it tightly to her chest.

"So, are you sure you really want me to transfer to ‹Eden›?"

"Absolutely."

Aegis-san would first join the sub-guild from here. No, it should begin with helping her in acquiring ‹Princess Knight› job just like Ester.

She might have to start from all over again, but ‹Mark of Conqueror› wouldn't go anywhere. It would be just a matter of time to get her level up by using ‹Training Hall›.

I was immersed in formulating the schedule for Aegis-san in my mind when Freck D-san interrupted my train of thought.

"Excuse me, Zephyr-san. What about me?"

......Freck D-san asked while poking my shoulder with his finger.

Sorry, Freck D-san. You were 'Failed'.
