A few days went by and Yale finally returned to the inn.

He brought quite a big surprise for Albert.

"Ho?" Albert smiled, looking at Yale, who was covered with dirt.

"Master. I've finished the mission." Yale took out a wrapped cloth and presented it to Albert. He even opened it for him, showing the skeleton along with a dark purple robe that signified the appearance of the necromancer.

"Was the necromancer…"

"Yes. He was a lich." He nodded with a serious expression. "The place was quite brutal, but I managed to take him down."

"Good job, Yale." Albert smiled.

"Thank you, Master."

"Before taking a rest, I want to tell you something."

"What is it, Master?" Yale asked. It might be due to his tiredness, but Yale's face looked like he had matured a bit.

"With this, you should be able to learn 4-Star Magic. There are two more tiers after that, but…" Albert smirked.

Yale couldn't contain his smile when he realized what Albert wanted to say.

"Indeed. Although I'm not in a rush, the sooner I resolve this, the better. I also believe that Renee will agree if you ask her to join us. She's quite talented as well, so she's worth grooming." Yale explained with a smile.

"Oh? Such high praise from you… You don't seem to harbor any more hatred toward her…"

"She had sacrificed so much for me. Although marriage is a different matter, I don't mind getting along with her. Of course, I don't want to rush everything as I still want to roam around the world." He smiled. "After all, this group is my family. I won't hesitate to do anything to protect the family."

Albert nodded, satisfied with Yale's answer.

"So, I have this proposal." Albert raised two fingers. "We're going to do two missions in this town whether the normal one or requested by Lilith. After that, we'll move toward the battlefield between the Risourin Kingdom and the Lust Kingdom."

"Eh? Why do you want us to go there?" Yale frowned. "I don't think Master has the desire to participate in the war, no?"

"I just want to bonk some people. We can help the succubus a bit as repayment for this one." Albert explained his reason, albeit Yale still didn't buy it.

"I believe you have a different reason. Repaying the Lust Kingdom is fine, but this is not the sole reason. There's a limit to what we can do to repay them." Yale denied it firmly, knowing that Albert wouldn't go to war without reason.

"To be honest, yes…" Albert scratched the back of his head, feeling dejected after his intention was seen through by his disciple. "I want to move toward the south."

"The south? The Gluttony Kingdom?"

"Yes. As I said earlier, I'm planning to make you use a 6-Star Spell as soon as possible. And the best way to do that is to get stronger."

"Is that the reason why you want us to participate in the war?"

"Exactly. We won't directly participate in this war, but it doesn't mean we won't do anything. We'll support the succubus from afar by using projectile spells. And during that time, we would hit both the human soldiers and the demon soldiers."

"I see. Friendly fire… That can't be helped."

"Of course. We're not going to kill them or anything unless they're directly provoking us."

"Does that mean we're only going to launch them away with the bonk power and leave?"

"Yep. That's how it is. This is a war, so I bet the number of people we can bonk is more than a thousand.

"If everything goes right in this war, I believe you will be able to use 5-Star Spell… Maybe just a step away from using 6-Star Spell. Only then do we move toward the Gluttony Kingdom."

"I see. That's understandable." Yale nodded in agreement. "Though, Teacher should need some Spellbooks, right? Or else, how could you learn something?"

"That's true." Albert nodded.

"How about adding the condition to Her Majesty Lilith?"

"In exchange for my participation, they need to supply me with books?"

"Yeah, that."

"That's a good idea. I'll note it down." Albert was satisfied with this plan.

"By the way, it's going to be a hassle with the Gluttony Kingdom."

"Why is that?"

"If we go to the Gluttony Kingdom through the east side of the Lust Kingdom, which is the battlefield… That means we're going to arrive at the northeast border. There is a border between four countries in this place."

"Four countries?"

"Yes. The Risourin Kingdom, the Holy Kingdom, the Lust Kingdom, and the Gluttony Kingdom. The Holy Kingdom is annoying because they're a bit fanatic."

"What do you mean?"

"They don't like the seven deadly sins and judge us like that. I hate their propaganda, though I can understand why they do that." Yale sighed. "Anyway, what I'm worried about is you."

"Me?"

"Yes. If we participate in the war, there's no doubt that the news about you will be spread to other kingdoms. If the Holy Kingdom knows about your power that can be the bane of the Lust Kingdom's existence, they might capture you. They want to extract that power from you, which might result in your death or simply make a 'forced' relationship in order to tie you down to their kingdom. This way, you won't have any choice other than to fight their kingdom.

"No matter how good they are, there are many corrupt people around. They might even resort to raping you to bear your child or even brainwash you. So, we need to be careful." Yale explained.

"I see. That's quite troubling." Albert narrowed his eyes, realizing that this world seemed to be even worse than he had imagined.

"And your identity as a demon is something controversial too." josei

"I can understand that. Alright. Let me think about this first and I'll let you know about my decision after this. Just be prepared that I'll still go to the Gluttony Kingdom no matter what."

"Understood."

"Good. You should take a shower and have some rest. I'll transfer the knowledge to you tomorrow… Thank you for your hard work, Yale."

"Then.." Yale politely bowed his head and walked away, leaving Albert alone in the room as he thought about multiple things.
