Chapter 135: End Of The Fight
She looked at the tree launching its roots to capture her.
But five Bonk Bats made of water suddenly struck the tree one after another. The force from Bonk didn't give the tree a chance to react.
Seeing the falling tree, Irena knew the attacks came from Bepe. It was clear the spell was Bonkbolt since there were five Bonk Bats.
She then jumped to the trunk and struck it a few times until she found the crystal. After smashing it, Irena turned around, coming toward the other three trees.
"You all are so slow." Irena laughed and raised her right bat. The flame flared up as the bat released a crescent-shaped flame when Irena waved it.
Bonk Wave Emission.
The heat from the flame warmed the air around it, but the rain forest shouldn't have any problem in taking this much flame.
Even when the flame hit the trunk, the flame enveloped it for a moment before vanishing into thin air, failing to light up the tree.
Still, the power contained from the Bonk, including the pure force from the Bonk Wave Emission, couldn't be underestimated.
Although the tree failed to be burned, it was knocked down so hard that the roots simply couldn't withstand the momentum of this Bonk Wave Emission.
Bam.
The tree crashed to the ground without having the chance to fight.
Then, Irena waved its other bat and launched a crescent-shaped blue energy from the left bat.
Unlike the flaming energy, the moment this icy energy made contact with the trunk, the ice spread and covered the trunk's surface, softening the layer inside the trunk.
The momentum and the force from bonk and Bonk Wave Emission surprisingly snapped the tree in half.
"Hahaha! You're weak. I'm!" Before she finished her words, the last word got stuck in her throat.
Despite knowing the word, she couldn't complete it as though someone was clutching her throat.
It wasn't Albert who did all this. Instead, it was her own memory.
This ability and strength were certainly hers. It perfectly reflected what Irena could do as an anomaly that had ice and fire elements.
All these things were her latent potential that she never had the chance to grasp. There was nothing wrong with flaunting something like this, and she also wanted to show Albert that she was strong.
However, she almost forgot that everything came from Albert. The two elements could only be controlled by the bats. Without them, she was completely unaware of how to do all this.
This memory somehow reminded her that Albert could take this power away as long as he wanted it.
It became the last lock that stopped her from moving on from her humiliating past. And that one last lock was broken by other than the connection between her and Albert.
A smile appeared on Irena's face as she immediately corrected her words.
"With my master behind me, I'll be the strongest! Hahahaha!" Irena laughed out loud and jumped toward the last tree.
The roots and the branches moved toward her, trying to impale her body.
Seeing all these roots and branches, Irena smirked and spun her body.
Swift Bonk.
One strike from the bat shattered all those roots and branches. The tree had no choice other than to retract all of them like the slime king. But unlike the slime, it didn't have enough branches.
Irena struck the tree with both bats at the time and launched it to the ground.
"Bam."
The tree fell to the ground and soon was smashed by Irena together with the other trees.
All five trees on her side were flattened to the ground within three minutes. This was a big accomplishment and she felt pretty satisfied with it.
But when she looked at Yale's side, she saw all the trees snapped in half.
"What?!" Irena opened her mouth in shock.
Yale noticed her reaction and looked at her progress. "That's quite good enough. Though, you should use both of your powers at the same time even though you're channeling them separately."
Yale dealt with the trees in an instant. The Bonk Wave Emission he used contained both elements, so it was significantly stronger than Irena's. With that one move, he cut all these trees down.
As expected of someone who had followed Albert for the longest time.
"Use both of them at the same time" She narrowed her eyes. "But it's better to separate them Even Master said so."
"I mean, use them together There's no need to fuse it. The fire can soften the inside while the ice freezes the outside. The bonk force will destroy them. The process can be inverted depending on your enemy." Yale sighed, explaining his words in detail.
"Ah?!" Irena widened her eyes. Without learning from books, she truly had no knowledge about this. So she never thought about such a thing.
If the effect was truly like what Yale said, she had no reason for not using it.
She hurriedly nodded her head. "I understand. I'll try to do that."
What Yale said was the truth. Unlike the Light and Dark that could be used together, this approach suited Irena better.
After all, Irena's elements would just clash directly on the surface of the energy. It wouldn't give an effective result, so she should stack it on top of its other, so the first power could affect the enemy first before the second one struck it.
Albert smiled at their progress. Yale seemed to have grown so much after the mission he gave him. His control over his elements became even more terrifying than before.
At the same time, Bepe and Jessie could understand the timing perfectly. With Irena's ability, this group could certainly rise rapidly.
There was even him and Shella who were ready to act if something went wrong.
Satisfied with the result, he said, "Good work. Let's pick the crystal up and continue. Our goal is the main tree."
"Understood." All of them acknowledge his words.
Little did they know, Albert's Bonk Legion had begun to take its shape.
