"Pardon, Your Majesty," Vincent said respectfully. "Our weapons are indeed unique and not commonly seen in these lands. However, they are also incredibly dangerous and not

something we freely share. They require a level of training and understanding to handle safely."

The king nodded, his curiosity clearly piqued. "I understand your caution, Vincent. But perhaps a demonstration in a controlled environment would suffice?"

Vincent considered the request carefully. He didn't want to reveal too much about their capabilities, but he also understood the importance of transparency with the king who had just granted them land.

"Respectfully, Your Majesty. We have to deny your request for a demonstration for the reason that we want it to stay that way. I know if we performed the demonstration, you would discuss it with your councils and military advisors, which could cause a leak and lead to unwanted attention and potential misuse," Vincent explained courteously.

The king's eyes narrowed slightly, contemplating Vincent's words. He was clearly disappointed but also respected Vincent's integrity and reasoning.

"I see. Your concerns are valid, and I respect your decision, Vincent. Let us move forward with the trust we have established. Now as for the land you are requesting, we can give you one." He beckoned to one of his advisors and spoke. "Get a map for me."

"Yes, Your Majesty," the advisor bowed and quickly exited the throne room to retrieve the map.

The room was quiet for a few moments as they waited, the tension easing slightly. The king turned his attention back to Vincent and his team.

"While we wait, is there anything specific you need for your new land? Resources, materials, or personnel?"

"It would be too much for us to ask, Your Majesty. But we require none. We can handle the initial setup ourselves," Vincent replied, his tone humble yet confident.

The king nodded, impressed by their self-sufficiency. "Very well. If you find yourselves in need of assistance in the future, do not hesitate to ask. Our doors are always open to those who protect our kingdom."

Just then, the advisor returned, carrying a large, detailed map of Eldoria. He approached the king and unfolded the map on a nearby table, revealing the various regions and territories of the kingdom.

"Here is the map, Your Majesty," the advisor said, bowing slightly as he presented it.

The king examined the map briefly, then gestured for Vincent to approach. "Come, Vincent. Let us choose a suitable location for your base."

Vincent and his team gathered around the table, studying the map closely. The king pointed to an island off the main continent.

"This is Akarios Island," he began. "It's a lush green island filled with wildlife and plants. However, it has been overrun with monsters, and there are no people living there. It remains Eldorian territory, but we have not been able to reclaim it due to the dangers posed by the creatures inhabiting it."

Vincent leaned in closer, examining the island's location and its features. It was really off the main island, about two nautical miles from the land.

"The only way to get there is to charter a boat from the port of Felaria," the king continued, pointing to a bustling port city on the mainland. "It's a short journey, but the waters can be treacherous, especially with the increased monster activity."

Vincent nodded thoughtfully. "Akarios Island sounds like the perfect place for our base. Its isolation will give us the privacy we need, and we have the means to handle the monster threat."

The king smiled, pleased with Vincent's confidence. "Very well. Akarios Island is yours. We will have a deed prepared immediately. It will grant you full control over the island and its resources. You are free to govern it as you see fit."

The advisor quickly made two copies of the deed, marking the location of Akarios Island. One was handed to the king, and the other to Vincent.

"Here is your copy," the advisor said, handing the map and the deed over with a respectful bow.

Vincent unrolled the deed and began, and since he couldn't read the text, he had it returned to the advisor and requested.

"Can you read this for me? Unfortunately, we can't read your text as it is foreign to us," Vincent explained.

The advisor glanced at the king who gave him an approval.

"Very well," the advisor took the scroll and read.

"In the name of His Majesty, King Eldoria. This deed grants the bearer full control and governance over Akarios Island. The territory is to be governed independently by Vincent Strider and his appointed representatives."

He paused, looking at Vincent and his team to ensure they were following. They nodded, their attention fixed on him.

"The island is bounded by the following coordinates. The land is rich in natural resources, including forests, freshwater springs, and various wildlife species. However, it is also noted that the island is currently inhabited by hostile creatures, which must be eradicated or managed by the new governors.

As the designated governors of Akarios Island, Vincent Strider and his representatives have the authority to establish settlements, build infrastructure, and utilize the island's resources as they see fit. This grant includes the right to self-defense and the formation of a local militia if necessary."

He looked up from the document, meeting the eyes of Vincent and his team while rolling up the deed. "Is that all clear?"

"It was very clear to us," Vincent confirmed, and the advisor returned the deed to him. "Is it

clear to your boys?"

"Yes sir!" Alpha 1 to 5 said in unison.

The king, observing the camaraderie and determination among Vincent's team, smiled approvingly. "I have no doubt that you will succeed. Eldoria is fortunate to have men like you."

Vincent bowed once more. "Thank you, Your Majesty. We will begin preparations immediately."

"One last thing," the king said, his tone thoughtful. "Given your invaluable contributions to the safety and security of Eldoria, I would like to offer you and your men citizenship within our kingdom. It would grant you certain privileges and protections, and solidify our alliance." Vincent considered the offer carefully. While citizenship would indeed provide benefits, it could also bind them too closely to Eldoria, limiting their freedom and operational independence. He wanted to maintain their autonomy to operate without the constraints that might come with being subjects of the kingdom.

"Your Majesty, we are deeply honored by your generous offer," Vincent began respectfully. "However, we must decline the offer of citizenship. Our strength lies in our ability to remain independent and adaptable. We believe we can serve Eldoria best in this capacity."

The king nodded slowly, understanding Vincent's reasoning. "Very well, Vincent. I respect your decision. Know that our doors remain open to you and your men. Should you ever change

your mind, the offer stands."

"Thank you, Your Majesty," Vincent replied, bowing deeply. "We appreciate your understanding and continued support."
