Before actually getting to work, Vincent checked his important stats. That is the gold coins and the experience points.
[Level:8]
[Gold: 262,200 gold coins]
[Experience points: 30,150/34,936]
He nodded in satisfaction as he looked into those numbers. The gold coins are high enough for him to invest significantly in increasing his forces and the experience points are only going to make him avail locked items.
But, he remembered that he still had one ticket for Wheel of Fortune. So he decided to try his luck. He navigated swiftly on the Wheel of Fortune Tab.
The Wheel of Fortune had a vibrant, colorful design, with each section marked with different rewards. The options included 200,000 gold coins, 100,000 gold coins, 50,000 gold coins, 20,000 gold coins, 15,000 experience points, 12,000 experience points, 5,000 experience points, small chest, medium chest, and large chest.
Vincent took a deep breath and tapped the "Spin" button. The wheel began to turn, the sections flashing past in a blur of colors. His heart raced as he watched it slow down, the pointer inching its way towards the final reward.
The wheel gradually came to a halt, and Vincent's eyes widened as the pointer stopped on the 100,000 gold coins section. A notification popped up on his screen.
[Congratulations! You have won 100,000 gold coins!]
Vincent couldn't help but smile. "Looks like luck is on our side today," he said to himself. He quickly added the newly acquired gold to his total.
[Gold: 362,200 gold coins]
Suddenly-the system notification popped up.
[New Mission: Building a Headquarters]
[Description: You have been granted an island filled with monsters. It's your job to clean it up and make it a suitable and functional military base for you and your men.]
[Rewards: 500,000 gold coins & 30,000 experience points.]
Vincent's eyes widened as he read the new mission details. The rewards were substantial, but it's going to be also difficult as based on the map, the island is huge.
"Okay guys, we have a mission from the system," Vincent said. "And the mission is to clear out this island of monsters."
"It's going to be difficult with our numbers," Alpha 1 said. "Not to mention, we barely have any ammunition."
"I concur with Alpha 1," Alpha 2 added, nodding. "We need more resources and manpower to tackle this mission effectively."
"I know," Vincent already knew what they were going to say. But it's best to inform his men of the mission provided to him by the system so as to show effective leadership. "Which is why we are going shopping."
With that, Vincent opened his system and began browsing.
The first thing he is going to need is a soldier. One infantry cost about 1,000 gold coins, weapons not included. However, there is this pack wherein he could purchase 100 soldiers at the cost of 100,000 gold coins but standard-issue combat equipment such as the M4 carbine, Sig Sauer M17 Pistol, grenades, night vision goggles equipped, and standard body armor were included. Vincent decided to add this package to his cart.
Next, Vincent turned his attention to vehicles, knowing they would need heavy support for any larger monsters they might encounter. He selected four M2 Bradley Armored Personnel Carriers, each costing 20,000 gold coins. The M2 Bradley was known for its durability and firepower, making it perfect for both transporting troops and providing battlefield support. [Item: M2 Bradley Armored Personnel Carrier]
[Cost: 20,000 gold coins each]
[Quantity: 4]
[Total: 80,000 gold coins]
He then looked at tanks, choosing two powerful models for 25,000 gold coins each. Tanks would be crucial in dealing with any high-threat targets like the cyclops-like monsters they might encounter.
[Item: Challenger Tank]
[Cost: 25,000 gold coins each]
[Quantity: 2]
[Total: 50,000 gold coins]
For aerial support, Vincent initially hoped for an Apache helicopter but had to settle for the AH-1Z Viper, costing 30,000 gold coins each. He bought two of these to ensure they had air superiority and reconnaissance capabilities.

[Total: 60,000 gold coins]
With the essential equipment secured, Vincent reviewed his remaining gold and allocated the rest for ammunition, crews, and supplies for the infantry, tanks, APCs, and helicopters.
[Remaining Gold: 72,200 gold coins]
[Ammunition and supplies: 70,000 gold coins]
[Remaining Gold: 2,200.]
Once everything was in place, he confirmed his purchase, and suddenly a huge magic circle appeared on the ground in front of Vincent.
Vincent watched in awe as the items he had purchased began to materialize within the circle. First, the 100 soldiers appeared, fully equipped and standing at attention.
Next, the four M2 Bradley Armored Personnel Carriers emerged. The two Challenger tanks followed. Finally, the two AH-1Z Viper helicopters materialized.
The ammunition and supplies appeared last, neatly organized, and ready for distribution. Vincent felt a surge of satisfaction he had ordered come tog
erfectly.
When the summoning was completed, the personnel performed a salute to Vincent, awaiting further instructions. He returned the salute and they were all at ease after.
Now, of course, he can't just send them to fight, because they don't have an organization yet such as the chain of command.
Vincent began organizing his forces systematically, drawing on his knowledge of military structure and tactics. He divided the 100 troops into four platoons, each led by an Alpha team
member.
Platoon 1
Leader: Lieutenant Alpha 1
Troops: 25 infantry soldiers
Support: 1 M2 Bradley Armored Personnel Carrier
Platoon 2
Leader: Lieutenant Alpha 2
Troops: 25 infantry soldiers
Support: 1 M2 Bradley Armored Personnel Carrier
Platoon 3
Leader: Lieutenant Alpha 3
Troops: 25 infantry soldiers
Support: 1 Challenger Tank
Platoon 4 Leader: Lieutenant Alpha 4
Troops: 25 infantry soldiers
Support: 1 Challenger Tank
Support Units
APC Reserve: 2 M2 Bradley Armored Personnel Carriers (to be deployed as needed for
reinforcements or special missions)
Air Support
Air Unit Leader: Viper 1.
Helicopters: 2 AH-1Z Viper Helicopters
Command Structure:
Overall Command: Vincent Strider
Communication Officer: Alpha 5 (in coordination with the leaders of the platoon and air unit
to ensure seamless communication between field units and command)
Each platoon was equipped with sufficient ammunition and supplies to sustain prolonged
engagements.
Before sending them out, Vincent opened the map of Akarios Island.
"Now, the Akarios Islands have three towns. The Akarios Village, Ferah's Dock, and Ionian
Campsite. They are located here, here, and here," Vincent pointed at the map as the platoon leader leaned in, following Vincent's fingers.
He continued."We are near the Akarios Plains, which leads to Oz's farm, which has a direct route to the Akarios Village. The plan is simple: we are going to clear out the Akarios Plains, Oz's farm with all of our forces. And once we reach the Akarios Village, we will divide our teams into two as there are two places. One leading to Leona Lake, and the other to the Ager's Forest. That will be all for now. Does anyone have questions?"
The platoon leaders shook their heads, indicating that there was none.
"Alright, I'll be with you all in comms. Now who is ready to get some?"
"Oorah!"
"I SAID, ARE YOU READY TO GET SOME?" Vincent shouted, and the response was a
resounding roar from his newly formed platoons.
"OOORAH!" the soldiers bellowed.
"Alright boys, let's get locked and loaded."
