Chapter 117: You Are Finished
Chapter 117: You Are Finished
As Dean Qiao smoked joyfully, excited at the thought of reprimanding the poor background Xu Feng, a knock came from outside the door.
"Dean Qiao, student Xu Feng has arrived!" his secretary announced.
"Okay, let him wait a while before I get prepared," Dean Qiao responded, inwardly contemplating how he should assert his authority over Xu Feng.
'This poor-background bastard! If it weren't for my help and recommendation, allowing him to join the competition in return for his financial issues. He would have been kicked out long ago. How dare he make a fool out of me this time!' Veins pulsed visibly on Dean Qiao's forehead as his rage peaked.
Back then, he noticed Xu Feng had potential and decided to use him as a tool.
Yet this tool had become disobedient and even started cutting classes.
Added to the fact that the school competition results were met with immense criticism, Dean Qiao decided to cut off Xu Feng, making him pay tenfold.
'An expulsion is too nice. I will make sure no schools will accept you and make your life miserable. A poor background nobody dares to trample on me and wish to live freely? How laughable!' Dean Qiao grinned menacingly as he imagined Xu Feng crawling and begging for mercy.
He would pretend to give him some mercy, only to thrash him thoroughly in the end. He would not be Dean Qiao if others learned he was trampled over by a nobody in this industry.
Time slowly passed, and Xu Feng, who had been instructed to wait outside in the hallway, remained expressionless. The dimly lit corridor seemed to echo his years of hardship.
'After so many years, this Dean Qiao still loves to put on airs.' Xu Feng sneered inwardly.
It was just a pity that he didn't come here today to be played by Dean Qiao, but the other way around.
Had it not been for Ning Yi's intention of coming to the school with him, he would have thrown a fit and left swaggering.
However, Ning Yi was listening, so the more pitiful he appeared, the more painful Dean Qiao's downfall would be.
'I'm not petty, but I'm human, and those who wrong me, naturally need to suffer tremendously,' Xu Feng thought to himself, finally noticing Dean Qiao's secretary walking out.
"Dean Qiao said you may go in now," the secretary said with a tinge of disdain, his eyes narrowing slightly as he looked at him.
Ignoring the tone, Xu Feng stood up from his seat and nodded.
Sometime later, he was brought to Dean Qiao's office. The moment he entered, Dean Qiao slammed his palm on the desk and fiercely scolded.
"Student Xu Feng, cutting classes and skipping the school competition. Do you have any honor and integrity that our Kingston School follows?"
Right off the bat, Dean Qiao took the momentum with his scolding, justifying his actions and trying to dampen Xu Feng's emotions.
By leading the conversation and using morality on his side, Dean Qiao displayed his professional skill in setting traps for others.
'As expected of this shrewd Dean.' Xu Feng was amused, taking a seat without caring about the accusation.
"Speaking of honor and integrity, you're quite the humorous person, Dean Qiao," he smiled, astonishingly the latter.
'Did this Xu Feng go crazy? How dare he ignore my question and tease me?' Baffled, Dean Qiao wondered if the person in front of him was truly Xu Feng and not an imposter.
After all, Xu Feng's response was completely out of his expectations, causing him to be perplexed about how to respond.
Meanwhile, Xu Feng didn't plan on letting him think properly as he continued his attack. He leaned back in his chair, his demeanor relaxed yet his eyes sharp.
"The school competition was supposed to offer students incentives such as cutting classes and earning extra money for their contribution to the school. Yet ever since I've participated, I have been denied the extra money and was even forced to attend classes that are not required, stating it's a good thing to learn more while having to pay extra for it."
Dean Qiao's face turned slightly red, but he composed himself and rebuked Xu Feng's statement. "That's because the school wants to educate you further, and what do you mean by denying? It's just on delay because of some issues. Student Xu Feng, how could you be so inconsiderate of the school?"
"Is that so, Dean Qiao? Then why is it that other students receive those incentives and are even allowed to participate in the school competition despite not meeting the requirements? They didn't even need to take any tests either." Xu Feng's voice was calm, but his words were sharp.
"That's blasphemy. Those students are naturally qualified and are thereby allowed to participate," Dean Qiao said, adjusting his tie to mask his growing discomfort.
"Qualified? Do you mean as in their background is qualified and meets your expectation?" Xu Feng pressed, his gaze unwavering.
"Enough! This discussion is about you disrespecting Kingston School, not about others. If you have no explanation for your actions today, then you will be expelled." Unwilling to argue further, Dean Qiao decided to end it swiftly.
'Why am I even arguing with you? Since you don't want to listen and ramble on about your stupid ideology, then you can do it in the streets with no one caring about you.' He sneered inwardly.
Xu Feng simply stood up from his seat, tapping his fingers repeatedly on the desk, and smiled amicably. His mouth continued to move, but no sound came out. Nevertheless, Dean Qiao could subtly understand what he was trying to say.
[You are finished!]
Agitated, Dean Qiao stood up, clenched his fist as he slammed it on the desk, and shouted furiously, "Get out of the office! From now on, you are expelled, and any of your academic records are nullified."
"Dean Qiao sure is ruthless to poor students but amicable to rich students," Xu Feng turned around, commented, and waved his hand as he exited the office.
Outside, he heard the door slam shut behind him. He walked away, knowing that Ning Yi had heard everything and that Dean Qiao's days of unchecked power were numbered.
