Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 128: Gauntlets of Precision

Chapter 128: Gauntlets of Precision

After laughing tyrannically for some moments, Xu Feng quickly calmed himself as he still needed to synthesize even more Elemental Disruption Elixir.

"Phew, let's not lose our main objective now." He reminded himself, raised his head, and glanced at the sky.

With his eyes squinted, he determined that there was still some time left until the Pyrite Drakes would return to the nest.

Thus, he needed to make use of these times and not be lost in the sudden reward granted by the system.

Although this could be somewhat described as him being fed with a silver spoon, only Xu Feng knew it happened mainly because of his achievement.

Had he remained lazy and given up early, then the achievement wouldn't have been obtained, prompting him to lose not only the gauntlet but the title as well.

Hence, at the end of the day, it was due to his dedication and relentless attempts to advance forward that got him here.

The system was getting unpredictable, and Xu Feng felt like he was being treated like a lab rat in the typical carrot and stick method.

'Whatever the system is trying to do, I will gladly tackle any challenges. As if I will let my goal be hindered by some system.' Xu Feng sneered inwardly.

Sometime later, Xu Feng wore the Alchemist's Gauntlets of Precision and proceeded to synthesize more Elemental Disruption Elixir.

Thanks to the equipment, Xu Feng realized his previous herbs distribution was somewhat incorrect by a small margin.

Although it was only a small margin, such an error could easily result in failure, with the previous result as a clear demonstration.

Despite knowing his mistake, Xu Feng wasn't disheartened by it since making such small errors was understandable and it was hard to spot or notice them most of the time.

Without the gauntlets boosting his expertise, what he did could be considered the best possible outcome.

"If I had this item earlier, then I wouldn't have failed 20 consecutive times. But oh well, it was well worth the price in the end." Xu Feng mumbled, not a bit grudgeful about receiving the equipment now.

Others might have begun to complain and remain ungrateful for the reward after pondering why the system couldn't reward them earlier, but Xu Feng was quite the optimistic type.

Even if he knew there would be no title or gauntlet in return for his efforts and failures, he would still continue his attempts. After all, nothing could be better than practical hard work.

'People always complain about their tough life, but never actually do anything to improve, especially those rich 3rd generation young masters. A bunch of wastrels who only rely on their father or grandfather or great grandfather.' Xu Feng scoffed silently.

He despised these types of people the most.

What gave them the right to act so haughtily when the only great thing they had was being born into a good family?

Shaking his head, Xu Feng realized he was once again being distracted by those vile people. The time was not ripe yet, and there were still many things he needed to prepare before he could go against those top conglomerates.

With that in mind, Xu Feng resumed his synthesis and found immense success thanks to the Gauntlets effect.

In less than 30 minutes, he already managed to gain 58 Elemental Disruption Elixir, with only 13 failures. Not only that, his Mastery Level had increased from Novice to Apprentice, increasing his success rate further to 75%.

After all, an Apprentice success rate was 60%, but due to the Gauntlets' attributes, it increased by an additional 15%, totaling 75%.

Satisfied, Xu Feng truly loved this new equipment, but he didn't allow it to cloud his judgment and priority.

'Time is running out,' he thought to himself, noticing the sky was turning dim.

Holding the Elemental Disruption Elixir, Xu Feng proceeded to apply them to three different categories: Coated Weapon, Aerosol Dispersal, and Explosive Pods.

Naturally, the coated weapon was for his beginner staff weapon, in which he would coat them with the elixir.

This was the easy category, but the Aerosol Dispersal required a few more technical stuff. Thankfully, one of the equipment Xu Feng had borrowed from Herbalist Elias was an aerosol sprayer, which allowed him to use it to disperse the concoction in a fine mist.

Placing the elixir on the sprayer, Xu Feng shook it a bit before spraying them everywhere, covering the nests and ground to ensure the Pyrite Drakes would inhale and come into contact with the serum upon their return.

Time slowly passed by, and Xu Feng finished making a round trip on the cliff.

"That should be enough to cover." He mumbled, leaving out only a few spots that most likely won't have any Pyrite Drakes going there.

With the fine mist now shrouding the entire cliff, these Pyrite Drakes were definitely done for.

However, Xu Feng knew it would be too easy if that was the case.

As if one simple elixir was going to be enough to take any of them down.

These elixirs were only meant to weaken them severely, incapacitating them from being able to produce most of their abilities or perform great combat skills.

"Phew, now I just need to make a few explosive pods as a throwable item." Xu Feng wiped the sweat off his forehead as he began to fill the small, throwable pods with the concoction.

At the same time, he engraved a simple rune on it.

The rune was fairly simple as it only served to act as the activation process. Think of a grenade and having its safety pin pulled out. That was how the rune was designed to be.

Only 16 explosive pods were made, given the sprayer took most of the elixir in creating an advantageous environment for him to battle.

Nevertheless, Xu Feng was satisfied with the amount as he hid himself using the nest material in a corner.

Right as he concealed himself, multiple shrieks of cries echoed through the sky.

'They're finally here!' Xu Feng clenched his fist, ready to confront them.
