Returning From The Magic World

Chapter 245 From There

Chapter 245 From There

A mysterious light then emanated from his palm, flowing into Melly's forehead.

The girl who had panicked too much finally tried to break free, her legs which were still young but already long enough tried to kick Arthur's back.

Of course, all her efforts were in vain as the force of gravity pressed down on her, making every part of her limbs stick tightly to the ground.

"Mm!" Arthur who had just closed his eyes was startled and opened his eyes again.

When he examined Melly's soul, he found it was not like the soul of a 12-year-old girl. It was thicker and like it was hiding something.

Arthur was quite familiar with it, similar to the soul condition of his body that was in the Sky World.

'Is she a reincarnator?' Arthur wondered.

Of course, he wasn't sure how it happened if she was a reincarnator.

Although he himself had such an experience, but he at least knew the cause, which was probably due to the special ability in his body, which he currently happened to be unable to control.

"Where did you come from?" Arthur asked Melly.

Seeing his serious gaze made the girl panic, she looked the other way and hesitantly replied, "I really don't understand anything."

"You don't want to say it?" Arthur's eyes became colder.

"No, I'm really Melly, Anna's daughter, there's no doubt," she replied hastily.

It seemed that although she could be calm about everything, she would still panic when the situation really didn't allow her to turn things around.

Of course, that wasn't really strange. Some people might go through so much that they could be more calm when facing something, but still not have enough determination to be fearless in front of death.

When hearing the girl speak that she was Anna's daughter, Arthur found there was some sort of emotional tremor from her.

Despite her nature, she probably still sincerely regarded Anna as her biological mother.

However, it didn't really matter.

What was important to Arthur right now was knowing her origins.

"You'll be fine as long as you tell me your secret," Arthur said again.

The question left Melly speechless, staring off in the other direction once more.

"I think you need a little convincing," Arthur added.

His hand moved up, ready to give the girl a thrill that would make her lose her mind in fear.

However, before Arthur could do that, something suddenly happened.

Her forehead emitted a sharp light, leaving Arthur with no other choice but to narrow his eyes.

'A hidden power, why is it only active now?' he said to himself.

'Or it only activates when Melly wants to tell her secret. And it didn't realize the power of me checking Melly, it seems that the place where this girl came from is not as powerful as I imagined. Maybe it's like the lowest part of the Sky World.'

As he continued to stare at the light, he vaguely saw the figure of a black-haired man, wearing futuristic-looking trousers and a coat.

What was clear was that those clothes did not exist on earth today.

Arthur took a closer look and finally found a writing, probably the brand of the clothing.

He was quite familiar with the letters.

They were exactly the same as the letters on the gold paper.

'So from those Independent Dimensions...' He immediately concluded because those Independent Dimensions were the remnants of ancient civilizations that survived until now.

Perhaps they were in a state of decline now that the world that was the source of the Dimensions' energy had been destroyed.

However, that doesn't mean they inherited nothing, at least the language.

And with the conditions there, the development of science is naturally easier, it's no surprise that their technology is so advanced.

"Hahaha, uncle, you failed!" Melly suddenly laughed again.

When Arthur looked down, he found that the girl had disappeared.

She was apparently floating about three meters in the air, enveloped by the light emanating from her forehead.

Whoosh!

Her figure then flew rapidly into the sky to the point of no longer being seen.

Rose froze at the sight.

Although she was now a spiritual being, what she saw at this moment was on another level.

First the girl was flying and the speed was something she could not estimate.

Of course, Arthur could still estimate her speed. He could even estimate the level of the owner of the magic.

'I hope it's the highest level there,' he thought before taking a step.

"Let's go," he said to Rose.

He waved his hand, telling the animals to leave.

Terrified after seeing his power, they immediately ran away like they were being chased by a ghost.

Arthur and Rose climbed the wall and came down by jumping.

They landed right next to Melly's bicycle.

Seeing that, Arthur smiled and got on.

"Boss, you?" Rose was surprised by Arthur's actions.

"You can go by yourself, I'll take the bike to her school," Arthur said.

He was sure Melly was back there because she knew the only safe place was a crowded place or next to her mother.

Despite her abilities, Arthur didn't think she would choose such a reckless act as leaving home alone.

Even if she wasn't afraid, she should have been worried about her mother.

He started pedaling the bicycle that was still the right size for him.

Plus, it wasn't a specialized bike for women, so there was no strange impression when he used it.

It didn't take long before he arrived in front of Melly's school.

Perhaps the girl was so popular that even her bike was recognizable, Arthur could hear some students wondering why he was using Melly's bike.

Some even speculated strangely.

And not long after he got there, he saw Melly appear from the back of the schoolyard.

Seeing him, the girl was shocked and panicked. However, she only panicked for a moment.

Then, she stuck her tongue out at him.

A girl who was probably the same age as her approached her. The girl watched Arthur for a long time.

Arriving beside Melly, she asked, "Melly, that guy isn't your boyfriend, is he? You're not dating a high school student, are you? You know, I've seen his video go viral on the internet."
