Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 451 - Suppressing The Forsaken

Chapter 451 - Suppressing The Forsaken

"Kill them all!" Tristen howled as the army that was following behind him began to use an ethereal attack formation that would use the collective ethereal strength of every individual to grant each and every one of them with superior strength and defense temporarily.

"What the fuck!" One of the Forsaken cultivators shouted in shock, not expecting an army to take them by surprise, while the other Forsaken cultivators, despite being taken by surprise, quickly retreated since there was no way they could hold out against an army even if their individual cultivations were lower than theirs.

Damien immediately sent a spiritual message to Valentina to take advantage of the chaos and escort the little king and his people outside till everything gets settled here.

He had already informed the little king of his plan and hoped that he would be ready to escape any time along with his sister and her lover.

Valentina immediately left the grounds and slipped inside the palace with her disguise easily and was surprised to see that there was another ethereal barrier surrounding the palace though it didn't seem strong as the one she deactivated.

Since she was in her disguise, the Forsaken cultivators let her pass through the barrier while she thought that Drake had taken extra measures to set up a last defensive line.

However, she was confident that this ethereal barrier wouldn't last long against Damien and his army.

As she quickly walked through the halls of the palace, some servants and maids were running here and there in a panic since the palace was under attack.

She also saw some Forsaken cultivators rounding up though they were too distracted to pay her any mind.

Valentina knew that the little king should be in Princess Ai's room since he wanted to take care of his sister since her condition was slowly worsening over time.

However, when Valentina came before her room, she saw two Forsaken cultivators standing guard there.

"What are you two doing here? We are under attack, and you are still wasting time here?" Valentina asked in a cold stony voice.

The two Forsaken cultivators glanced at each other before saying, "We have strict orders from the Lord to guard this place since it is more important than anything else. I am sure you know that."

"I know. That's why I will take over here since we need more men to defend against the soldiers the empire had sent," Valentina said with her hands on her back.

One of the Forsaken cultivators seemed hesitant as he said, "But…"

"Do you think you two would be able to stand guard here once the entire army floods this palace? We have only a single ethereal barrier stopping the army from entering this palace, and if they do, then you two wouldn't make any difference by standing here. So better go over there and lend a hand. Do you understand?" Valentina said, trying her best to make it sound like the matter was very serious.

The two Forsaken cultivators again looked at each other, feeling that she was right, and nodded, "Alright. You can stay guard here. We will go and help our men."

Valentina smiled as she saw the two scurry off while she entered the room to see the little king, Ai, and her lover, Shin, having wary expressions on their faces the moment they saw her entering.

"Don't panic. It's me...Alena. Godnim sent me to take you all out before the army gets inside," Valentina said as she gestured with her hands.

Everyone's expression relaxed hearing that Godnim had sent her, and they were also familiar with the name Alena.

"But which way should we go? And will Ai be alright?" The little king asked in worry as he looked at Ai.

Shin immediately spoke up, "Your Highness, please don't worry. I can carry Ai on my back and protect her with my life."

"No need. I will carry Ai since otherwise, we will only get slowed down. I can make sure she doesn't get hurt. We can go out the back while the rest of the Forsaken cultivators have all regrouped at the front," Valentina said in a tone of certainty.

"It's fine. I am sure Miss Alena has everything sorted out," Ai said in a feeble voice as she sat up on the bed with Shin's support.

Meanwhile, Yuria had joined up with Damien, clad in silver light armor that perfectly suited her curvy body with an added touch of fierceness that made her look even more elegant and attractive in a deadly way.

"Wow...I never knew someone could be this glamorous by wearing armor," Damien remarked through Tristen since they were in public.

Yuria smiled with a blush, "Didn't I tell you that this would suit me? Anyways, where is that so-called Lord Shade? Isn't he the one who has been giving you trouble?"

Yuria knew that Lord Shade was Drake's alias and also knew about the heated conflicts he had with Damien. She knew this time Damien was out for Drake's blood.

Kale was very enthusiastic about attacking the palace as he stormed the palace grounds with his men and even killed some of the Forsaken cultivators who were sent as cannon fodders to buy time for Drake to strengthen the last defensive barrier around the palace.

"Hmph, this flimsy barrier isn't going to stop us. Men, round up and attack with everything you have got!" Kale ordered as he stood before the palace entrance, where more than a dozen Forsaken cultivators were standing behind the barrier with tense postures.

They never expected their most powerful barrier to suddenly get deactivated by someone on the inside.

Damien and Yuria also stood near Kale, and Damien's eyes narrowed as he saw a familiar figure with a sky blue mask coming from within the palace.

'Drake…' Damien's lips slowly arched into a smile as he could see how shocked Drake was by seeing an army standing before him, attacking the only barrier that stood between him and them.
