Rise of the Crusader

Chapter 168

Chapter 168

168 Finale II

Raphael raised an eyebrow after Hilario spoke.

He had thought very deeply about her, but regardless of how hard he tried, he couldn’t remember ever meeting a tall, slender young woman with shoulder-length black hair and eyes that have dark, wide pupils.

“It’s fine,” said Hilario.

She then sneered, “As I said, by the time I’m done with you, those memories would come rushing into your head.”

Raphael wasn’t fazed by Hilario’s words, he slowly moved his gaze to the ground, and as he saw the leaf, he picked it up immediately.

He used the absolute decay on the leaf soon after, and as it was just like he suspected.

The demonic plants and leaves were invulnerable to the damage caused by his powers.

A disdainful look appeared on Hilario, as she saw the expression on Raphael’s face. She gathered more demonic plants around her, and with the self-regeneration in place, she launched at Raphael.

Raphael’s eyes were still glued to the leaf in his hand when he felt a movement in the surrounding.

.....

“Dieee!!!!!!!!!”

He had only just let go of the leaves when Hilario’s voice rang out.

Hilario wasn’t the only one who was making a move this time around, but the demonic plants gathered around as well.

With attacks coming from all over, there was no room for Raphael to escape.

However, as the plants and Hilario, were to make contact with him, Raphael suddenly stomped his leg on the ground.

Bang!

And, accompanied by that fierce sound, was the entire surrounding trembling.

It wasn’t simply the stage that was quivering from the blow let out. Whether it was the area where the directors were or where the students were seating on, everyone had felt that impact.

Meanwhile, Hilario was also forced to move several steps backward.

She stared at Raphael, and her lips curved inwardly.

“You’re going to have to do better than that, Raphael,” Hilario spoke.

For some reason, seeing the look and the power that Raphael was letting out, Hilario was very much pleased with it.

Raphael waved his hand casually and a shotgun appeared.

The trigger was then pressed a second after the shotgun, and instead of the usual bullet shot, this was something else.

It was a mixture of flames, lightning, and thunder, and once it arrived at the target intended, the damage which was caused by the gun was tremendous.

Boom!

“Yesss!!!”

Bane yelled as he watched the destruction that was caused by the shotgun that Raphael brought forward.

There was a joyful look on his face, and he wasn’t the only one.

Devon and Aiden, who were also seating beside him were also very pleased with Raphael’s attack.

Even though it might seem like the both of them were equally matched, as Hilario was unable to land a successful hit on him, likewise Raphael.

But, those who studied the battle well could tell that despite nobody being incapable of making a good hit, the person who had the upper hand in the fight was Hilario.

“There’s no way, she’s going to survive that!”

Bane blurted.

“Referee, you might as well declare Raphael the winner.” Bane’s voice rang out again.

The surrounding had yet to clear from the havoc that was caused by the strike, and everyone eagerly waited to see what part of Hilario’s body would be left after that attack.

Suddenly, Bane stood abruptly from his seat, “Referee, what the hell are you still waiting for?!”

“Declare Raphael the wi...”

Before Bane would complete his words, a roar of laughter rang out from the stage.

The laughter ignited the atmosphere in the surrounding, and as everyone saw who walked out of the blast completely unharmed, and spotless, each one of their faces lit up.

“Hahaha!!!!”

“Did you really think a shot is enough to take Hilario down? How dumb would that be!!!”

The students from the bandit division began to let out praise to Hilario while also mocking Raphael as well as the student from the elite division.

The most disturbed students in the surroundings were, however, Bane, Aiden, and Devon. Seeing, Hilario steps out completely unharmed, they stared at one another and then gulped hard.

“Oh, oh,” Aiden murmured.

As for Devon, he shook his head, “We have trusted Raphael, all this while, there’s no way he would let us down now.”

“After all that is at stake, I’m certain that there are still several moves that he hasn’t revealed yet,” Devon spoke.

“It better be,” Bane replied.

He moved his gaze to the two on the stage, “Or else we will be losing over 500 billion points.”

Hilario’s eyes were glued to Raphael, and so were his eyes.

“I will be going all out now, survive if you can, or better still you should just perish.” Hilario blurted.

After those words were spoken by Hilario, she didn’t wait around any longer and launched at Raphael.

And unlike her previous attack which wasn’t accompanied by killing intent, this was. She moved with the intent to kill.

Raphael noticed the difference in Hilario’s attack, and as she sent the demonic plants that were two times thicker than the former ones, he moved.

Pffft

Raphael had only taken a step forward when he was punctured in his right chest.

The plants appeared on the other side of his body, it then began to twist his organs, causing blood to ooze profusely out of his chest.

The event already had the students in the domain in a heated state and as if the damage caused by the demonic plant wasn’t enough, they began to move toward his left chest.

Even though Raphael was experiencing excruciating pain from the demonic plants punctured into his chest, he managed to keep a straight face.

And as the demonic plants were close to making contact with his left chest, he immediately grabbed them.

A cracking sound rang out a second after, as Raphael broke the demonic plants in his hand.

He slowly placed his hand on the plants that penetrated into his body and were about to pull it out when Hilario appeared before him.

With her hand already balled into a fist, she launched a full-force blow at Raphael’s face.

Gbam!

What came after the face strike was a combo of punches all over Raphael’s body.

Hilario held nothing back, the pace and might of the punches were astounding, to the extent that she had blood spurting out of Raphael’s mouth.

Raphael was staggering backward from the blow he was receiving from Hilario, but regardless of the place that he turned to, there was always Hilario ready to deliver another punch.

“Enough!”

As short as that word was, the might that it carried was enormous.

Hilario was about to deliver another blow to Raphael when his voice rang out.

She was unable to lift her hand, and she managed to raise her head, staring into Raphael’s glittering blue eyes, there was a bit of fear evident in her eyes.

Hilario had only taken a step backward when Raphael appeared in front of her. With his hands balled into a fist, he punched Hilario’s abdomen.

“Ah~!”

Though the demonic plants formed a full-body armor around Hilario’s boy, Raphael easily bypassed her defense and his punch landed on her abdomen.

And Hilario had only just bent slightly from the blow when Raphael sent a knee strike at her face.

The kick had Hilario’s face covered in blood, she staggered several steps backward, only to be held and then grabbed on the neck by Raphael.

Raphael tightened his grip around Hilario’s neck and slammed her onto the ground.

Bang!

Right after hitting her on the ground, Raphael pulled her back up. His hand was already clenched into a tight fist, and what came next was a series of combos on Hilario.

Hilario’s face was in a distorted state, with blood all over her face.

However, despite the blood and punches that were coming her way, there wasn’t the slightest bit of pain or change in the expression on Hilario’s.

In fact, if it weren’t for the blood which was oozing out of her body profusely and the sound of bones cracking, there wouldn’t be any difference in Hilario.

.....

“Hahaha hahaha!”

As Hilario lost one of her teeth from Raphael’s blow, she let out a sadistic laugh.

“Come on, Raphael. You’re going to have to do better than that if you want to win this.”

Hilario said as the tooth grew back.

Raphael’s eyebrows were furrowed, he could tell that Hilario wanted to force him to go all out, something which he wanted to avoid.

Unless it was of course necessary.

If he were to unleash that ability in place for Hilario, it would definitely take her down, Raphael was confident.

But, the question is, was it worth it?

Hilario sneered, she wiped the blood that was in her mouth and said, “This can’t be all that you’re capable of, right? If it is, then I will certainly be disappointed.”

“The Mikaelson and Rbot that I know is much more stronger than this?”
