Chapter 192: Classes Start

"Brother, it’s time for class," Lin Yun informed while knocking on Lin Xiao’s door. Normally, he wouldn’t want to disturb Lin Xiao, but it was already the time for them to have their first class.

It wouldn’t do them any good to be late for their first ever class.

Lin Xiao opened his eyes and stretched his body. He was satisfied with the result over his few days of training. While the improvement was not that apparent, he had better control over the dragon power inside his body by now. For the time being, he would only use it to strengthen his foundation.

Of course, Lin Hu protested because it worth much more. However, the current Lin Xiao was simply incapable of doing anything because it was simply above him.

He opened the door and smiled. "Let’s go."

Lin Xiao glanced to the door toward Princess Yi Hua’s room. He was thinking about whether he should ask her to come with them or not. However, knocking her door and acting all familiar with her didn’t sound that well.

"She had left," Sui Wenyan informed.

"Eh?"

Wenren Yu nodded his head. "Princess Yi Hua left her room not long ago."

Lin Xiao nodded and then chose to depart right away.

The first class for the new students was theory class. Lin Xiao was worried that he wouldn’t understand anything. Well, let’s just try first.

Because there were over 1000 new student, the classroom was also very big. Lin Xiao was speechless upon entering because he could see the rows until very far. Now, where should they sit?

"It didn’t really matter where you want to sit because the teacher will surely use Qi to carry their voices to make sure that everyone in the class could hear them." Sui Wenyan shrugged.

Lin Xiao looked at Sui Wenyan. Right, upon reaching Foundation Establishment, they would learn much more of the use of Qi. It was not like those at Body Training couldn’t, but the limitation of their body made it hard for them to do it. Rather than focusing on the Qi which would be easier when they reached Foundation Establishment, they usually learned many skills to enhance their abilities.

The four of them picked a seat in the middle. Lin Xiao could see Princess Yi Hua sitting not far from the edge, so he picked their seats not far from her.

She glanced at him, nodded, then ignored him.

Lin Xiao smiled and just sat down.

The others: "..."

"Do you think my brother is truly getting himself bewitched with a woman?" Lin Yun asked worriedly. If Lin Xiao couldn’t focus on cultivation at this time, it would be hard for him to advance further. After all, they were still categorized as low ranked cultivator.

"I think he’s still focused on cultivation too. I don’t see him getting out of his room without purpose," Sui Wenyan said with hesitation.

Wenren Yu arched his eyebrows. "Probably just sudden interest. It shouldn’t last long."

"Really?"

"I think."

Lin Yun was not that certain. If he was not wrong, his brother was also a very hard headed man. Once he had decided on something, Lin Yun himself was not totally sure that he would be able to make him change his mind.

They didn’t talk anymore as more and more students came in until the place was totally crowded. The two princes did come with high profile and some students were already trying to fawn over them. There was still no guarantee who would become the Emperor, so many were taking the gamble.

Princess Lan Yi Hua looked at Lin Xiao’s bored eyes when he looked at them and felt intrigued. "Don’t you want to try getting close to the prince?"

"Why should I?" Lin Xiao asked back.

"For backing. People like you don’t have backing, right?" Princess Lan Yi Hua asked back. She could see that Lin Xiao came from poor background and naturally didn’t have much power in the capital city. It was strange for her to think that he didn’t have any interest to gain more power and background.

Lin Xiao shrugged. "We still didn’t know who will win in the end. I don’t want to gamble when I don’t know them that much."’

Princess Lan Yi Hua looked at Lin Xiao then looked away again. What he decided was none of her business.

After that, a middle aged woman walked to the front and swept her gaze across them. They all immediately recognized the woman who played the zither back then.

"Welcome to Sun Dragon Academy. I hope that I can see you all graduate safely," the woman said in unhurried tone.

Safely?

Lin Xiao sucked his breath. He had heard that there were a lot of students who ended up dying and couldn’t reach the designated rank after some time. Many geniuses would fall in their journey because it was always filled with trials.

Not everyone could reach the peak.

"My name is Su Luo and I’ll be teaching you the theory regarding the use of Qi. You can choose to listen to class or you can get out. No one is forcing you to stay in this class," Su Luo said bluntly.

Everyone looked around them but no one stood up. After all, they didn’t know what kind of lesson that Su Luo would give, so they couldn’t decide.

"Alright. I wish you can stay quiet when I’m explaining. If you have any question, you can ask when I give you the chance to ask. Don’t cut off when I’m speaking or you can get out of the class. I don’t want to have rowdy students inside my class. Understand?"

"Yes!"

Su Luo nodded in satisfaction and began her explanation. She was starting from the very basic that everyone should have known. However, some of them did come from a very remote place and naturally didn’t have much knowledge.

The classes didn’t last for a long time but what Su Luo told them gave them a lot to ponder with.
