Chapter 588: Ripping his Mask

Chapter 588: Ripping his Mask

Chapter 588: Ripping his Mask

The Second brother was clearly still not in the best possible conditions to fight, but he wouldn't let that vile beast of a Third brother to take him down so easily either.

So even though he was like that, he still used his palms to smooth the attack of his Third brother while once again using the inertia of the attack to get closer to his first brother.

"First brother are you okay!?"

The Third brother couldn't help but snicker inside himself at that moment. Even though this guy was a damn traitor like him, he still pretended to care about that First brother of theirs.

This guy was a true professional, he was able to keep his act even at a moment like this, making the Third brother feel a bit incompetent.

Which made him feel even angrier, and enraged at this situation, while increasing his desire to completely rip off that mask of this damn traitor as well.

The way he saw it, since he had already shown his strength, and his intention there was no need for that bastard to not do the same.

Yet he kept playing like he wasn't. A damn hypocrite! That was the type of person that he most hated in this world.

One could cheat, one could betray, but he should never pretend uselessly until the end. A weird thought of the guy, but who could tell him whether it was right or wrong?

But since that bastard didn't seem willing to face him with his real face, then he would only do whatever he could to rip that damn mask on his face.

Thinking like that, he suddenly stopped for a moment, and then making up his mind he immediately jumped in attack.

But this time the target wasn't his Second brother, but his First brother. Since that guy seemed to be worried for him, then he could only torture and kill this guy slowly to let him show his skills.

Furthermore, he was also curious would this guy stand in his way risking his life, just to save his face and continue his acting?

With these thoughts in mind, he slightly changed his direction when he attack, and he didn't clash with his Second brother but actually went towards his First brother.

With the condition of the First brother, if this attack landed then he would most likely die where he stood, his only life-saving grace was his Second brother.

But since that guy expected an attack on himself during that moment, he was already in a posture to block an attack upon himself.

He had never thought that his Third brother would be so despicable, as to change direction and attack the already injured First brother instead of fighting with him.

Since time was against him, he could only recklessly break his posture, and then try everything he could to stop that attack, in order to save his First brother.

But the Third brother seemed to have calculated that as well, as he suddenly changed direction mid-air once again, this time aiming for the Second brother's right arm.

The Second brother was already using his greatest speed to reach the First brother before the despicable traitor, so the sudden turn made it impossible for him to act.

He could only look with pain, and anger as the claws of his Third brother went through his right arm, and almost ripping his arm off from near the shoulder.

It was quite a vicious move, as he could feel that even his bone had been broken at that moment, as his right arm was just hanging by a small rip of flesh.

While he still stood in amidst his First and Third brothers protecting one and blocking the other, right now he would surely lose more than half of his strength, and battle prowess.

It became even more difficult and impossible for him to resolve the situation and protect his First brother. The way he saw, and how the matters stood he was certainly going to die in this place.

But the one who was the most irritated, and agitated from this whole ordeal wasn't him, but his Third brother, as he had thought that this would be enough to rip his mask to shreds.

The reality though was much more disappointing, as not only hadn't he been able to rip his mask, but right now he was even doubting his own intelligence.

Could it be that this guy wasn't the second traitor? But if it wasn't him, then who? His First brother was one of the confidantes of their boss.

He most certainly was the one who wanted this mission to result in success and return back, after all, he was the third prince of the werewolves, and also one of the candidates for the Patriarch.

As long as he returned safe and sound from this mission there was a high possibility of him being a serious contender for the Patriarch's position, especially with the Thirteenth princess's disappearance.

It just wasn't worth it for him to be the second traitor among them, but still, the situation was quite weird.

His Second brother was only his par when he was fully healthy, now with one of his arms gone, it seemed impossible for him to have any chance of being his opponent and going against him.

Why would he have to suffer so much!? After all, once those red-clothes vampires arrived here, everything would have already been set in stone.

Was he trying to pretend like he had been hurt in his mission and ask for more compensation from the Vampires?

Well, that was more than possible as well. After all, they were both doing this for better benefits and wealth.

Their first brother had certainly offered them more, but that was only on the premisses that he was able to take the Throne of the Patriarch in the Werewolves tribe, and that was difficult.

Forgetting the First and Second Princes, the Thirteenth princess who had disappeared was in a much more favorable position of taking the Patriarchs position, even though she was a woman.

So, even a fool would be able to understand that the words of their First Brother were nothing more than empty promises to tie them to his ship.

No matter how much wealth a man has, he has to be alive to enjoy it. So, no matter how much benefits they had by supporting their First brother, they had to be alive to enjoy them.

But it was impossible for their First brother's opponents in the tribe to allow the two of them to remain alive and by his side.

Most probably that was the reason why they were already in such a situation, it must have been them who sold them to the enemy.

Thinking up to here, the Third brother thought that his line of thinking was perfect and that there was no problem with his logic, so he could only think that this guy was doing it for extra money.

That made him even angrier, and enraged, as he was the one who had injured the main target of this mission and taken the situation under control, so he once again jumped with anger towards him, while screaming,

"You damn bastard! Stop pretending already!"

The second brother didn't have the time to react to those words, as he could only raise his left arm in defense, but this time his battle prowess was less than half of what it was previously.

It was impossible for him to be able to stand his ground against the attack, as he was thrown more towards his First brother like some kind of injured bull while spitting a mouthful of blood.

His body crashed on his First brother, and they were both sent more than 10 steps flying backward and rolling together in the ground, making the Third brother extremely happy at their situation.

The truth was that this Third brother was still unable to make much sense of what was going on, but he was just happy that he had sent both of his targets flying.

With the arrogance of the victory, he had just achieved he couldn't help but look at the two of them with a mocking smile, as he said,

"Are you still going to pretend, you damn son of a bi*tch!?"

But unfortunately, his answer was just the dead silence of the underground passage, nothing more. There wasn't even some kind of painful moan or pant. Nothing!

That made the Third feel extremely conflicted and complicated, as he didn't understand what was going on.

As if that wasn't enough he could feel that while there was still a heart beating from those two guys, the heartbeats were getting slower, and lighter.

It was like the both of them were with a foot in the grave, both of them. That made him extremely surprised and startled.

How was it possible!?

After all, he could understand the First brother, as he had caused him a wound on the heart, and then with the strength of throwing his Second, the injury must have definitely worsened.

But how was it possible for the Second to be in such a situation, as it didn't make any sense. His attack had quite the killing intent, but it was impossible for him to die so easily.

He wasn't born the previous day, he was the one that was the clearest about the strength he used in his attack.

Still feeling that he didn't think that it was him faking it either, as he seemed really close to death, so he couldn't help but approach the two bodies while saying,

"Oy, what is wrong with you!?"

But the moment he was 3 feet away from them, he
