Chapter 604: The Arrogant Princess’s Return
Silence!
Dead silence!
No one dared to talk any extra words in that situation, and it was like time, air, and space had frozen at that moment.
The only sound that could be heard was the heartbeats of the people present that seemed like they were about to burst from the heavy beating.
The ones whose heart was beating the fiercest though was most probably the auburn-haired lady, the servant of the Second Prince.
Even though her Master was a pretender for the Throne, he still didn't dare to clash horns with this devil of a sister he had.
It was good that she didn't have any ambition for the throne, otherwise few people would dare to stand in front of her due to her arrogant temper and character.
Not to mention her brothers and sisters, even her own father seemed to have a headache every time he dealt with her.
The only reason why the Second Prince and his servants had become more daring during these times was that she was gone inside the Soul Land, and they had prepared a trap for her.
Despite the fact that there weren't many people who managed to return back after entering that portal, he and the others had still made a trap for her inside.
They had to sacrifice a few of their strongest pawns, but it was necessary to remove her, as no one would want an uncontrollable lunatic on their side. She was bound to create more trouble than solve.
So, the moment that the Arrogant Princess Drina had entered the portal to that mysterious world, to the Second Prince and the others it was like a demon had suddenly disappeared from their sight.
Not only that, but they even started to share her properties, servants, and wealth, and the only reason they were only acting now was that they didn't want to attract attention.
After all, even though the whole world and their father understood that they were getting rid of competition for the throne, they had to keep appearances and not suffer the repercussions.
If they acted in rush then they would not only attract unnecessary attention, but they might even get punished by their father, or get trapped into the others trap and get rid of.
With the current situation, everyone was afraid of everyone, and they could only act slowly. There was already a preceding event with the Arrogant Princess, no one wanted to be the second.
But 10 years were supposed to be enough of a time. Not like they hadn't done anything until now, as they had already occupied her areas of influence, her properties, and most of her wealth.
The only thing that they hadn't touched was her servants and her remaining Castle, which would most probably change soon since the auburn-haired servant had taken action.
But who would have expected that the moment that the poor servant thought that she had made great progress, the Devil itself would appear in front of her?
She couldn't believe her eyes, and her ears, as for a moment she thought that she had heard this wrong, but the illusion or the nightmare didn't seem to disappear in the least.
It continued standing in front of her and slowly walking towards her with an evil smirk on her face like she was about to bully a little kid to death.
There was no one in the Vampire Clan that didn't understand the temper and the ways of this Arrogant Princess, and this auburn-haired servant was no different.
The moment she heard that voice she had already felt like she had been caught into the Devil's hands himself, with no option of escaping.
Not even her Master would be able to save her now, as most probably he would even throw her under the bus, in order to not create trouble with this Devil.
Her heart was literally jumping out of her throat as she said,
"Pri-Princess Drina we-weren't yo-you mi-missing!?"
"I was, but now I am not anymore! Good job remembering my name though, as it seems like there are some people who seemed to have forgotten about me."
The more she smiled though, the creepier did her smile feel, and the more did the poor servant feel terrified of the presence of the Arrogant Princess Drina.
Then as if suddenly remembering something important, she asked with an authoritative, and mocking tone,
"Yun, didn't you tell this poor soul that she doesn't have the support of her Master anymore, as her Master was unfortunately found dead on our way here?"
'Booommm~!'
Those words were like a bomb exploding on the poor servant's head, as she fell to the ground on her buttocks, with a lost expression on her face.
It wasn't that she hadn't already felt the loss of connection to her Master, but it was that she didn't want to accept his death.
As a matter of fact, she thought that most probably he had done something and had surpassed that bond, reaching a new realm. She didn't want to accept that he might have died.
Drina's words were just like a flood breaking the blocking dam and destroying everything that was found ahead.
Tianlong Yun was looking at the situation with quite the interest it wasn't that he didn't want to do something like that, it was just that he didn't want to attract attention so soon.
Furthermore, he had already felt Drina's presence, and it was him who had told her to wait and only act now.
The poor servant wasn't the only one who was suffering through, as right beside her the manager of the place crashed on the ground beside her, with a much more terrifying expression on her face.
She was a Vampire, and she was the niece of one of the elders in the Palace supporting the Second Prince, but in front of the Arrogant Princess, her grandfather was just like a simple civil worker.
There was no way for him to save her from the clutches of Drina, and especially now that their greatest backer had already died.
She knew that with the Arrogant Princess's temper and character there was no way for her to escape, not only her but even her family was going to get involved in this.
What she couldn't possibly imagine though, was that the Arrogant Princess wasn't that angry for herself, but for the way that these two women had treated her Master.
Since her Master was unable to deal with them in public then she had decided to create the opportune stage and time.
Thinking like that, she kept walking slowly towards the two women without caring in the least about their thoughts or inner feelings, and she finally reached the two.
A weird occurrence was that the moment she passed by the porter guy, he immediately crashed on the ground, and passed out. He had just been too terrified at that moment.
Drina didn't seem to care about him though, and that should be the greatest blessing of his life probably, as she finally reached the manager, lowered her head to look the woman in the eye and say,
"Tell me, little girl, since when did you start to act like you don't know me, or remember me!? I don't want to brag, but I thought that the whole Clan already knows about me!
It seems like I should reminisce you what it means to deal with me!"
Without waiting for the elegant woman's answer though, Drina immediately brought out her canines and then bit on her neck, drinking a bit of her blood, and forming a Blood Servant Pact.
Normally becoming the Servant of a highly ranked Vampire, and especially a Prince or a Princess was a great honor.
But knowing Drina, and her methods the beautiful manager couldn't be happy about it, as she knew that it was just a way for Drina to do whatever she wanted with her.
Now even her grandfather couldn't help her, as she had become Drina's servant, and was officially part of her family.
Drina could do whatever she wanted with her, even kill and drink her blood without any complications.
She couldn't help but feel extremely hopeless and powerless as she felt it happen, and even though she regrated her decision of earlier, unfortunately, there was no medicine for regret.
But she wasn't the only one, as the next moment, Drina moved from her, and appeared in front of the auburn-haired servant, who was still lost in her loss and pain.
Without caring about her, or her thoughts on the matter, Drina directly bit her neck as well, doing the same thing to her.
Now she couldn't even die without Drina's permission and could only suffer in pain and desperation for as long as Drina left her alive.
Doing this simple thing quickly, Drina stood up, and then looked towards the manager, and said,
"Call the owner and tell him I am here waiting for a satisfying explanation. I heard that he had found a new wife for himself and that his eldest daughter is quite the beauty!
When you are finished with that, come upstairs as soon as you can! You still need to get punished for your mistakes!"
Then turning around, she said with a heavy and authoritative voice towards Alina, the auburn-haired servant, and Tianlong Yun,
"The rest of you follow me! It seems like you need a lesson as well!"
As she said that, she couldn't help but look towards her Master with a complicated face, noticing a teasing look on his face, as if he was about to see who was going to teach whom.
Immediately an electric shock passed coursed through her body, but more than pain it was excitement
