Chapter 666: The Qi-stone Mine
Even though he already expected something like this, it was still a bit out of his expectations that whoever had tried something on the mine had taken quite the security measures.
To be more exact, the security was really heavy starting with the entrance, as there were two fighters, with heavy weaponry standing guard.
Tianlong Yun was still more than 50 meters away from the entrance and still, those two guys had already aimed their weapons towards him, with the intention to shoot.
There was killing intent in their aura's as their fingers were on the trigger ready to pull it and send Tianlong Yun diving in the Yellow Rivers.
Certainly assuming that Tianlong Yun was just some kind of stupid mortal, or some kind of average agent, as he didn't look like much.
Just like Mira at the shop, they didn't feel any kind of energy in his body, so they thought that he was nothing more than a weakling.
On the other hand, Tianlong Yun didn't seem really happy with their thoughts, and actions, so he decided to act quickly and swiftly.
With one thought he disappeared from the spot he had been an instant ago, and before the two guards could understand where he had gone, he had appeared behind them.
By the moment that they had sensed his new position, and that only based on their fear and instincts, he had already pierced with his sword the chest of the first guy and disappeared again.
The next instant, he appeared behind the second guard repeating the same movement and killing him in just one stab.
Perhaps the stab from 'Life's Regret' wasn't enough of a wound to kill the two guards, but the soul absorption skill of the sword would immediately separate their Souls from their physical bodies.
In less than 2 seconds everything was over, and Tianlong Yun started walking deeper, towards the mining area, where he would also find the most invaders.
But as he was walking towards the depth once in a while he would disappear and reappear on his path, just like an illusory shadow.
All that was to take care of all the invaders in this building one by one. His goal was to enter deeper into the mining area, but that didn't mean that he would leave those guys upstairs alive.
Every time he teleported he would take one life and absorb one soul, he was taking them down like he was weeding some bad grass from his small garden.
When those upstairs were fully taken care of, even those hiding in some canny places, he finally concentrated all his attention on going down and deeper.
The door leading to the underground seemed more of a normal door leading to the basement than some important door leading to a secret place.
Still, Tianlong Yun could tell that this was just a dummy door as the true door was standing behind it. It was a 2 meters thick titanium door, with 5 different security features.
Amidst them, there was fingerprint recognition, 20-seconds refreshing password, retina recognition, voice recognition, and last but not least DNA recognition.
If any of the five was missing, the door wouldn't open, and worst the small room would be delved into cyanide, and machine guns would appear shooting with sensory detectors, and laser beams.
In short, if someone didn't have the five of them, it was the same as walking towards his own terrible and certain death.
This meant that whoever had done the invading this time had the help of an insider, as there were no signs of struggle, or the mechanisms activated.
Well, perhaps these things wouldn't be much of a problem for Tianlong Yun to deal with, but this didn't mean that he was in the mood to see them.
Well most probably he would be able to easily break through the DNA, voice, and password parts, but the fingerprint and retinae were extremely difficult.
As for his Space Law, while he was extremely proficient in it, and could easily cross a 2 meters thick normal wall, a 2-meter thick titanium wall was another matter altogether.
It was just like a normal man passing through 2 meters thickness of cotton, to a 2 meters thick normal wall, on the extremes of comparable.
But there was one thing that whoever created the security of this place hadn't taken into consideration.
While the wall in front of him was 2 meters thick titanium the floor under him was just 3 meters thick normal cement.
And he wanted to go down, so he didn't necessarily need to go down. With that thought in mind, he quickly teleported once again, to appear underground.
The moment he appeared there he once again spread his spirit sense to encroach the whole place, and then disappear once again.
One moment was enough for him to understand and 'see' everything he needed to, as he once again started claiming lives, and souls just like some kind of Death Reaper.
He didn't take any one of them alive as he knew that these guys were only low-level fighters and wouldn't provide him with much information.
The only person who might be of some assistance to him was the commander of the mission, and that was the only other hostage he was planning to collect.
The only thing that made him a bit foul moody was the fact that all the Souls he had gathered until now didn't make much of Soul Power for him.
It was the same as drinking water with a needle size straw, almost nothing. But still, the fact that there was a change, despite being minute, proved that it worked.
With those thoughts in his mind, Tianlong Yun continued cleaning the whole structure while naturally walking deeper.
It was only when he entered the mining area that he finally understood just what kind of material was being mined down here, and it was surprisingly a Qi-stone mine.
He had already found one of these mines, and despite that the quality of Qi-stones it provided wasn't really high, the amount was still considerable.
But this mine he had stumbled upon now, was actually a mine with high-quality Qi-stones making it hundreds of times more valuable than the one he had.
Even without talking about this with Jena, he had already decided that the whole yield of this place would be given to him.
He was a bit discontent that she hadn't told him about this place earlier, but he would wait to hear her words, before making a decision.
Still, these guys inside seemed to be unafraid of death, as they had actually decided to put their dirty paws into something that belonged to him.
This made the whole situation change for him and turn personal. But it wouldn't make any big change though as he had already decided to kill everyone inside.
The only possible change would be that now he would personally take care of the people in the background, who had the balls to think about planning something like this.
The more he walked inside, the more people would he sense and kill. It was just like a walk in the park for him.
He had to walk quite a bit before he finally arrived at the spot where the captain of the group was supposed to be.
The inner collective spot, it was an underground warehouse where the miners would store their daily yields, and it would be picked up once a year.
The warehouse was quite big in a box shape with measurements of 200-15-5 meters in length, width, and height. The daily yield was quite low as well, and extremely laborious so it made sense.
A week later it was supposed to be the next year's collection, so these guys had entered inside with the intention of harvesting other people's hard work.
What surprised Tianlong Yun though was the fact that these guys seemed to be well prepared, as they seemed to have some spatial devices with them, in order to store all the Qi-stones.
Perhaps if he hadn't appeared here as fast as he did, then these guys would have already stored everything away and left the place.
The surprise lasted only for an instant though, as the next one he quickly appeared amidst them, but this time instead of killing them he decided to knock them out with his pressure.
The pressure of a level 2 Great Ascension Boundary Realm cultivator, coupled with his Blood Law effect, and his Fierce Law, it was more than enough to make them fall like autumn leaves.
Why did he do something like that to someone besides the captain?
There were two reasons for this actually! First, he planned of robbing everything here inside, and those spatial devices for himself, without causing trouble to Jena.
So, he would create the idea that the plan had actually succeeded, and these guys had escaped with the materials towards China.
That would make even the man in the background planning all this become edgy, and act against them.
Second, because he needed a scapegoat that would take his place. After all, he had killed so many of them, and it would be weird if there was no trace of his presence.
The story he would prepare was that some expert had seen through the plan, had slaughtered his way inside, and then had died at the last clash since he had underestimated the enemy.
It was quite the great story if he had to say so himself, and he immediately got to work, swiftly propping the place.
It was a blunder from his side to have taken care of everyone without a fight or a sign of battle, but he easily created everything himself, before taking what he needed and leaving
