Chapter 680: Arriving at the Sacred Wolf Mountain

The poor guy didn't even have the time to scream injustice thinking that Princess Jena had used her blood pressure upon him, as her bloodline was bound to be purer.

But in truth, Princess Jena's pressure was nothing but pure killing intent, strength, and energy. She was just too lazy to deal with him any longer, so she best thought to knock him out.

Furthermore, this guy was also the best possible gift she could receive, as until now she had been rocking her brains to find a suitable scapegoat, in front of her Father, and the Clan.

There was a wide path to salvation, but this one had to go straight to the devil's hands. Without losing time, Princess Jena quickly started giving her instructions.

"Take these guys into custody, and keep them under observation, we just found our targets!"

The servant ladies didn't understand what their Master meant, but they surely obeyed and thought that they would realize soon.

With that taken care of, they once again got into their cars and left the area towards their destination. The arrogant idiot was inside Princess Jena's car, as she personally kept him under watch.

The road was a bit difficult, and if one didn't know the path they would surely get lost in the many corners, and turns, as finally Princess Jena and her entourage appeared in front of a tall mountain.

At first view, it looked like it was just a simple, and ordinary mountain. But the moment that Princess Jena and her entourage appeared, a heavy voice resounded through the place,

"Who are you, and what is your purpose!?"

"I am the Thirteenth Princess of the Werewolves Clan, Jena Helsing. I have come here under summons from my Father, the Patriarch!"

The moment that Jena's words spread through the area, a sudden and surprising event took place. At one side of the mountain, at the foot of the side, a big entrance started to appear.

Without hesitation, Princess Jena made a sign and ordered everyone behind her to proceed forward and enter.

Even though this might not have been the first time that they had entered the Sacred Wolf Mountain, to each of these Werewolves, it was still a great honor to enter this place.

Not even Princess Jena's eyes could hide the solemn feeling of entering this place, but more than that in her eyes was also an expression of greed, and desire to make this place her own.

Sacred Wolf Mountain was the house of the Patriarch, and was the most sacred place for the Werewolves, as it contained their Ancestors Graveyard and their Clan treasures.

In simpler words, Sacred Wolf Mountain was not only the presidency building but also the treasury bank. Which made the energy of this place become extremely thick and special.

In fact, there was even a weird kind of energy or sensation in this place that not many people were able to actually understand what it was.

That was the aura of the Fierceness Law, created by the many treasures stored in the treasury, and the leaking aura of the Elders residing there with the Patriarch.

Before that fight with the assassins on the way to her purge, even Princess Jena wouldn't realize what that strange aura was, but right now not only did she understand it, but she was even trying to comprehend it.

"Stop! Don't do that now! Pretend like you still don't understand what it is!"

Just as she was about to close her eyes and concentrate on that though, she heard Tianlong Yun's voice from inside the Old Pouch stopping her from doing so.

Tianlong Yun didn't want her to do that and expose that she had already stumbled upon the Fierceness Law, because it might raise the guard of the Patriarch, and he might get second thoughts.

The Ancestor's Graveyard was most probably a place overflowing with Fierceness Law aura, and that was probably the biggest reason that many descendants had died inside.

As someone who had already entered the Ancestors Graveyard a few times, the Patriarch must surely know about that.

The only way to get through the Ancestors Graveyard should be getting to learn the Fierceness Law and getting the approval of the Ancestor's Soul inside.

If the Patriarch knew that Princess Jena already understood the Fierceness Law, then her chances of actually learning something useful, and getting out would certainly increase, and he wouldn't take the shot.

Jena quickly understood what her Master meant and she quickly did as he instructed her, making herself look like a fool for messing with something she didn't understand.

The moment that she had seemed to sense the Fierceness Law aura, two pairs of eyes had focused upon her, one containing malice, and the other containing curiosity and hope.

It wasn't weird for two different thoughts, and factions to exist inside the same organization or power, and these two old fogies seemed to have extremely different thoughts.

But Princess Jena's next movements made the malice guy chuckle, while the second one released a deep and long sigh. It looked like Heaven's had abandoned his Werewolves Clan.

Unaware of the two gazes upon herself, Princess Jena slowly made her way towards the Clan's Court Room, where the Patriarch and the Elders were waiting for her.

There was a rule that even the members of the main family couldn't stay inside the Sacred Wolf Mountain for longer than they were allowed to.

The moment that she entered the Clan's Court Room, Princess Jena felt a heavy aura and pressure land upon her, as a lot of Elders seemed to be testing her new strength and limits.

With her new strength and power, she was able to sweat this pressure off just like some small gust of bad air, but there was no way she was going to reveal herself.

Furthermore, she wasn't alone in her attempts to take over the clan, as the Elders on her side spread their pressure to fight off the upcoming one.

Certainly, not all of them did so, as they couldn't afford to support her openly, but those who did so were enough for her to feel comfortable, as she continued walking forward slowly.

The Patriarch saw all this happening from his throne, but he didn't say anything, he was just like an interested spectator enjoying the show.

On the other side, the Elders that had played the small prank, couldn't help but snort and scowl, as they felt the intervention thwart their plan off.

"Hmph~!"

The Elders who managed to protect their candidate though had a satisfied look on their face, just to rub a little bit of salt on their wounds, but they didn't dare to lower their guards down.

It takes a fox to recognize clearly another one. That expression held true in this case as well. These old fogies were cut from the same material, and they clearly understood this about each other.

If the one answering the summons had been the First, or the Second Prince the roles would have been reversed but the situation would have happened the same way.

These small skirmishes were a way to actually establish their strength in the Clan's Court Room, so their words and voices gained more importance.

"Brad, you have actually made a breakthrough?"

"Hahahahah~! To think that you would notice something like this, Ben, you are truly a capable old wolf!"

That small interaction between the two served as a spark amidst the rest, as they all started to discuss the breakthrough of Elder Brad.

Some of them were startled, some were happy, and some were angry and fearful, after all the strengthening of the enemy meant the weakening of their own.

If the worse came to worst, they would have to fight against each other, and might even kill each other in the event. In that case, a strong enemy was most certainly a curse.

On the other hand, the camp that was getting stronger was most certainly extremely happy, as they were having additional strength, and power in the Clan's Court Room.

Since the Patriarch had decided to leave the throne, they all thought that it was now a matter of the candidates and that his Excellency wouldn't meddle.

Otherwise, even if they had tens, or hundreds of guts they would still be unable to act like this in the Clan's Court Room.

As she walked slowly inside, Princess Jena carefully observed the faces, and expressions of everyone inside that room, including her esteemed Father's face.

Most of them were keeping tabs on her too but pretending to be focused on something else. it was more like a game of hunt, where they were both the hunters and the hunted.

For Princess Jena was the same, she was having a look at the possible friends and foes, that she would have to encounter once she made her wishes known.

Even though her First, and Second brothers weren't there, their presence was made known by the Elders supporting them.

Just like expected, her First Brothers following was still as strong and solid as ever, while her Second Brother seemed to be developing in the dark.

At that moment she understood that suddenly she had become the weakest of the bunch and that from now on she was going to suffer quite a bit of hindrance from them.

Life was going to get even more difficult for her in the outside world, and especially for her followers, but there was nothing she could do about it in the short run, she could only bear with it.

"Thirteenth Princess Jena Helsing responds to your Excellency's summons!"
