Chapter 230 - Critical And Fear
Chapter 230 - Critical And Fear
Dean ran to the car, along with the Bodyguard and several residents who also came to help the injured drivers.
the car was wrecked at the front with Gustave in a very pathetic condition, while the steering wheel already looked empty either because he had run away or had been helped by the locals. Dean tried to get Bryana out who was already unconscious with her head and several parts of her body there with wounds, while Louis tried to get Stevan out who was also badly injured in the head.
dean carried Bryana to a more spacious place, then sat down on his lap, staring at her beautiful face but looked pale and stained with blood from the forehead. "Honey, you have to endure!" he cried in fear.
Dany came over to Dean as well as Bryana, the others helping with the process of getting the injured drivers out of the car.
"Dany, how long do I have to wait for the ambulance to arrive? My wife must get help!" Dean was irritated in fear. he glanced down the street, trying to find the ambulance he said was coming soon.
"Just wait, we can't take her in a private car because in the ambulance she will get first aid. Better wait a little longer!" Dany exclaimed then ran to Louis who was having a hard time carrying Stevan's weak and helpless body with several wounds. Louis' clothes were stained with Stevan's blood.
Dean looked at Bryana so sadly that he cried and hugged her. "You have to be safe. I beg you, fight for life for me, for the kids, for all those who love you. I beg you to endure. I promise never to leave you again!"
Slowly, blood began to flow down Bryan's thighs. Dean panicked even more as his eyes widened. "Oh my God, she's bleeding!"
"Dany, how much longer do I have to wait? My wife is bleeding!" Dean looked at Dany who was busy helping the others. The Bodyguard was about five meters away from him.
"Wait, two more minutes will come!" cried Danny.
dean continued to cry looking at Bryana who was very concerned, then looked around the very chaotic surroundings. Many cars were damaged, the crowd, the police, and even several ambulances came. He immediately got up and carried his wife to the ambulance.
The nurses who were in the ambulance immediately greeted Dean by removing the gurney, then Bryana was immediately laid down on the gurney and brought into the ambulance for emergency help while heading to the hospital.
Too worried, Dean joined the ambulance and went straight to the hospital. He saw the nurse gave first aid by giving oxygen to Bryana. The man was silent in fear, worry, his body limp, shaking until his palms were sweating cold. The shadow of the past where Clarissa was injured during a big pregnancy and died made him even more scared if his wife this time had the same fate. 'NO, THAT CANNOT HAPPEN. YOU MUST SAVE!' he thought with an angry cry.
"Nurse, she will survive, right?" asked Dean.
"Seeing the bleeding that is going on, it looks like the doctor will suggest your wife should undergo a C-section to save the baby. That's just my prediction, sir. The rest you just pray that she and the baby are safe" explained the nurse who wore a white uniform while continuing to provide emergency assistance to Bryana.

Raymond had arrived at the hospital. He sat in a lounger while waiting for Calvin and Monica to be examined. The man decided to contact Dean who was on a mission to save Bryana and Stevan.
After several calls, Raymond finally connected with Dean. He heard Dean sobbing, and the clear sound of an ambulance siren. He started to feel uneasy, and asked, "Dean, what happened? Don't tell me you were in the ambulance because someone got hurt!"
"Raymond, they had an accident. I don't know who accidentally shot the tire of the car until it lost control and crashed!" Dean explained from the phone sounding panicked.
Raymond suddenly felt dizzy and imagined the state of Bryana and his father. "Then how are they doing?"
"I'm still on my way to the hospital with Jill. Daddy's in another ambulance. ...Jill is so worried, I'm scared if she and the baby ...."
"Don't be pessimistic, Dean. I'm scared too but we have to keep praying and trying. I'll see you later. Send me the address of the hospital!" Raymond shouted then hung up the phone. He exhaled roughly, rubbed his face which felt hot from the atmosphere, squeezed, and even grabbed his hair in frustration.
"GUSTAVE, EVIL!" Raymond growled with his eyes bloodshot. He got up and kicked anything in front of him, then leaned against the wall, looked up at the ceiling of the corridor which was a yellowish-white ceiling. "Oh my God. I'm tired of all this. please save my sister and father, give us peace, give us a chance to live peacefully like everyone else!".
____
Several ambulances finally stopped at the hospital grounds. Two of the ambulances were the ones carrying Bryana and Stefan. they were immediately removed and taken to the emergency room using a gurney. The nurses seemed to be in a hurry to push the gurney to the emergency room where there was already a doctor ready to help.
dean jogged to follow where Bryana was taken until he arrived at the door of the ER, he gave his wife a soft kiss on the forehead and said. "Hold on for me. I love you so much!"
The nurse continued to take Bryana to the ER, while Dean waited outside. he stood leaning against the light brown hospital wall, staring at the orange light. Slowly, the man felt weak and started crying again because he remembered the times when Clarissa experienced the same thing as Bryana.
The memory is very clear when the doctor came out of the ER and declared that Clarissa had died, and then had to do a C-section to take the baby in her belly. Dean kept crying in fear, he couldn't imagine if Bryana went through the same thing.
"NO, THAT CANNOT HAPPEN. SHE MUST SURVIVE!" shouted Dean in tears as he ruffled his hair in frustration. The memories that flashed in his head made him lose his spirit and continue to be in fear.
Louis who had just escorted Stevan to another ER room saw Dean who looked confused. He ran to his master and best friend and tried to calm him down.
"Dean, calm down. You have to believe that Bryana will survive!"
"Louis I'm so scared. this is almost like what happened to Clarissa! I'm so scared that she...." Dean couldn't go on anymore, because what he wanted was salvation, not death. The thought of when he had the heart to leave Bryana, made him feel anxious and guilty again, making him cry even more without caring that some visitors were paying attention to him.
"Dean, I know you're still traumatized but Clarissa's wound was a gunshot wound, unlike Bryana's. You have to be optimistic and continue to pray to God for the safety of Bryana and the baby," cried Louis who squatted down while holding Dean's shoulder he looked pityingly at the man whose clothes were even stained with blood from his injured wife's blood.
Check
The emergency room door opened. Dean wiped his tears roughly. He hurried to stand up and stared at a male doctor in his 40s, of standard build wearing cylindrical glasses and a white medical gown. "Doctor, how is my wife doing?" he asked worriedly.
"Quite weak from bleeding too much. She must immediately undergo a cesarean section to retrieve the baby," replied the doctor looking worried.
Dean grew dizzy and in fear. "Oh my God. She's only eight months pregnant. Isn't there another way?" he asked.
"There is not any. this is the best step for your wife and baby," replied the doctor.
"Then just do it. I beg you, do what's best for them, save them!" exclaimed Dean wistfully.
"Okay, you have to come with me to sign the consent letter for this operation," said the doctor then re-entered the emergency room to order the nurses and other doctors to prepare the operation and documents for Dean to sign.
