Chapter 235 - Give A Meaningful Name

Chapter 235 - Give A Meaningful Name

When she underwent an examination, Bryana was allowed to visit her baby in the NICU room to immediately give her breast milk. But unfortunately, she could not give her breast milk directly because the baby was still too small and weak. The nurse gave her a vacuum to suck her milk and it would be fed to her baby using a pipette.

Currently, Bryana is still in the recovery room sucking her milk which is placed in a milk bottle, then Dean carries her from the bed and moves her to sit in a wheelchair.

"Ahh ..." Bryana winced in pain in her hand.

"Why? Where does it hurt?" Dean asked worriedly.

"My waist. It seems a bit injured. Ah, my whole body still hurts," Bryana replied with an uncomfortable look.

Dean sighed, then tucked a lock of Bryana's hair behind her ear, and kissed her forehead. "You have to be patient and strong. after meeting our son, you will feel better."

Bryan nodded. "Quickly take me there. I want to see him immediately."

"Okay."

with her hand still attached to the IV to restore her strength, Dean escorted Bryana to the NICU room carefully carrying the bottle containing the expressed breast milk.

"Congratulations, ma'am," Franky said as he saw Bryana sitting in a wheelchair and being pushed by Dean towards the entrance to the NICU.

Bryana only responded to the words of Franky and the other bodyguards with a friendly smile with her right hand carrying an IV bottle connected to her hand. She was nervous about her body shaking from not yet fully recovered and wondered how her son who was born at 8 months pregnant was doing.

"Honey, is our baby too small?" She asked, looking up at Dean behind her.

"No, he already weighs about two kilos. He's strong, just like you always said when he was in your stomach," Dean explained casually until he stopped to open the NICU door, then continued pushing Bryana's wheelchair.

in the room that was reserved for premature babies, Bryana saw a nurse changing diapers for her baby who looked very tiny without clothes on. her heart seemed to be very sick seeing her son who was forced to be born prematurely with a condition that was not too strong. But the young mother was grateful that her son was declared healthy and just needed to undergo the usual care for a premature baby.

"Nurse," called Dean.

The nurse who was putting on the diaper turned to look at Dean and Bryana. "Is the milk ready, Ma'am?" She asked.

"Yes. I brought this," Bryana replied, showing a bottle containing a quarter of her breast milk.

"Okay then, he has to drink the milk because the first milk is good for his immunity," the nurse exclaimed as she wrapped the baby in thick white clothes and blankets, put on a hat, and immediately handed it to Bryana's lap.

Dean took over holding the IV bottle so that Bryana could comfortably hold the baby until the nurse provided a special support post for the IV bottle.

"Hey, my son. You are so gorgeous," said Bryana with a smile full of emotion looking at her baby who may not be able to see it. She also kissed his cheek which was very soft and tender. She didn't feel her tears just falling, remembering the incident during the accident that almost took her life it made her able to see her baby faster.

dean sat on the chair next to Bryana and held the bottle containing the pipette of breast milk, then Bryana gave the milk with the dropper little by little.

"He likes it," Dean muttered with a smile.

"This is obligatory eating and drinking for him for several months. Sonly with this milk he will be healthy," said Bryana, who already knew enough about babies, because she also exclusively breastfed Calvin when he was a baby. The young mother couldn't stop smiling happily when she saw her baby seemed to be voraciously drinking the breast milk even though it was only a few drops.

dean sighed, remembering Sofia who had never tasted milk. "I was afraid you wouldn't survive and he would end up like Sofia. I was so scared to imagine that reality," he said.

"Now you see I'm fine, even our child is healthy even though he's tiny. So, stop being afraid, because all the scary things are over," Bryana said with a reassuring smile. the pain in her body seemed to suddenly disappear into oblivion just because she saw and rocked the baby.

Dean smiled crookedly, then rubbed the baby's lips because it was slightly smeared with breast milk. "Even though he's tiny, I'm sure he'll grow up to be taller than me when he grows up."

"He must be more handsome."

"Of course, he will be handsome and charming in his good demeanor."

"Have you given him a name?" Bryana asked while continuing to feed the milk with the dropper slowly so as not to choke.

"Not yet. You have to give the name, because you have already prepared the name," Dean exclaimed.

Bryana was silent as she stared at her baby who had a chubby face like his father. He

remembered how his father kept hee safe in the accident so that in the end she didn't suffer any serious injuries or hit her stomach.

"Can I change the name I've put together?" Bryan asked.

"Of course, you're the mother you have the right to name as you please," Dean replied.

Bryana recalled how Dean had hated her father, but she also felt very lucky because of her father. The woman hesitated.

"Would you like to change the name you prepared?" Dean asked when he saw Bryana was lost in thought until the baby whined again for milk.

"Em, I want to put father's name in his name," Bryana replied, waking up from her thoughts and immediately giving breast milk to her baby again. "If you do not mind."

"Of course I don't mind. He is the grandfather of our son, pinning his name is not a problem, honey," Dean exclaimed with a reassuring smile.

Bryana breathed a sigh of relief, looking at Dean who probably no longer hated his father after the explanation before the kidnapping incident. she turned to look at her tiny baby but was very eager to drink breast milk as if he had a high zest for life.

"I'll name him Aidyn," she said with a smile feeding the baby. "Aidyn means small fire. He is indeed small but he is very passionate about life, he ignites the passion in our hearts for a better life. I like the name Aidyn."

"You're right, it's a very meaningful name." Dean stroked the baby's cheek gently.

"Aidyn Steven Jackson. That's his name," Bryana said with the former deciding on the name. "Even though he's small, he will grow up to be a manly man and have a good attitude like you and his grandfather."

"May God bless him," replied Dean then kissed the forehead of the baby who was officially named Aidyn Stevan Jackson, then kissed Bryana's forehead. He felt so happy because, in the past, he had not felt this way when Sofia was born. there was only grief over the deaths of Clarissa and her mother.

"I'm so grateful to have you in my life," he said.

"I also. I hope there are no more enemies who want to destroy our happiness," Bryana said with a warm smile, looking back at her baby who was no longer drinking milk, even yawning a few times. "Looks like he's going to sleep."

"I want to rock him to sleep," said Dean. "Is it allowed?"

"Of course, you are his father. He must get used to being comfortable with you," Bryana exclaimed then handed Aidyn to be carried by Dean who immediately accepted. She smiled in relief as she looked at her dashing husband slowly cradling their baby who looked so tiny in his arms.

until a few minutes, Dean continued to hold Aidyn, sometimes kissing him because he was too excited and felt very much in love with him. The baby fell asleep and the nurse immediately put him back in the incubator.

"Now let's go back to your room," said Dean, about to push Bryana's wheelchair.

"But I want to be with him," said Bryana, unable to bear to leave the baby.

"Let the nurse take care of him. You have to rest so you can recover quickly and can take care of him as you wish," Dean persuaded.

Bryana was forced to obey, because slowly but her body also felt more and more pain from sitting too long.
