Chapter 171 Nancy Mistook Him For Someone Else

“Thank you all for joining us. Here’s a toast to everyone.” With those words, Julian raised his glass of red wine and downed it in one gulp.

Several female colleagues beside him watched in awe as he drank. However, Nancy was lost in thought, not because Julian’s actions were impressive, but because they reminded her of Nicholas. She snapped out of her daze when Toni tugged on her hand and said, “Hey, Nancy. Snap out of it.”

Julian casually scanned the room before his gaze landed on where Nancy was seated. Then, he said, “No need. I’ll stay here. Tell everyone to enjoy themselves without restraint.”

“Alright.” Jenell agreed and left, but she couldn’t help but feel a cold sweat breaking out on her forehead. After all, with Julian’s presence, it was impossible for them to feel completely at ease.
