That night, Zaden was putting Selena down to sleep. Selena was wearing a simple cotton t-shirt and shorts, tucked under the duvet, leaning on Zaden's chest. He kept her close to him. His fingers running through her hair, carefully arranging them into a fan on the pillow beside them, lulling her to sleep but she doesn't seem to doze off, eyes wide as an owl. He ran his fingers from her forehead to her cheeks, shutting down her eye.

“Sleep...” she nodded gently; eyes closed. Zaden gazed spellbound at her calm face for around 5 minutes

“Are you asleep?...” he whispered and she shook her head ‘NO’. Zaden slapped her butt playfully, making her chuckle. She opened her eye.

“Seriously, go to sleep...” it wasn't an hour later, when Zaden was sure she is asleep, he slipped out of her grip. He wasn't sleepy, so he intends to walk around. At the front porch of the cabin, Orion was sitting leisurely, sipping beers.

“What are you doing? They don't do anything to us” Zaden said. Alcohol doesn't intoxicated werewolves.

“I know... but they are tasty and warms you up...here!” Orion passed another bottle to Zaden. He took it with a smirk and sat next to Orion.

“I don't remember the last time we have been this free, mentally...” Zaden said

“Probably before your 18th birthday...” Orion replied

“Oh ya...we were so sure that we are going to find our mate the following morning and fucked at least a dozen she-wolfs that night itself. “ Zaden recalled and they both chuckled

“Listen, don't tell her that...” Zaden requested

“What, you are scared of that tiny creature in there?” Orion asked with an exclaim

“Believe it or not, I am...” Orion let out a louder laugh.

“Don't be so cocky. You might find a tiny terror one day too...then it won't be so funny” Zaden said low

“I don't know... “ Orion looked far into the view.

“You said so when Sheila left us but you manage to fall for Selena, didn't you? Maybe not tomorrow morning, but someday, you will find someone, Orion...” Zaden said low.

“Maybe...But it has always been an agony. I am not sure I want to go through that again.” Zaden pursed his lips and shook his head, giving up to him. They drifted, chatting about other things when Zaden felt a familiar scent behind him.

“Selena is here” he whispered, both Zaden and Orion hid their beer bottle.

“Are you drinking alcohol?” there is no way she could have seen the bottles, it must be her smelling ability. Zaden automatically pointed his index finger at Orion, not even looking back at her. Orion got caught in the middle of his alpha and Luna. His eyes darted back and forth from Zaden to Selena.

“No sweety...just beer” Orion raised up his bottle, smiling sheepishly at her who is standing behind them now. She crossed her hand over her chest, twist her lips, and glared at Orion. He swallowed his saliva.

“Not so tough now, huh?” Zaden leaned to the sides and whispered to him, earning a glare in return.

“How come you are not sleeping?” Zaden asked her

“I can't...” she took a few steps and crouched down to squeeze between Zaden and Orion.

“With every minute passing by, I feel different inside me. Restless...a vibration...I don't know how to explain...”

“Energy surge? Yup, that happens” Zaden said and Selena's eye focused on him.

“The more pack members accept you, the more energy you get from the moon goddess. That's what makes alpha stronger than the rest of the pack, the energy, or some may say power within them. You get this newfound confidence that you can overcome anything, a rage to protect your pack. That is your first defense against your enemy, weakening them mentally with your confidence before you even touching them” he looked up and pointed.

“Today is the birth of a new moon and a new alpha.” he said, Zaden and Orion's eyes on Selena and she felt uncomfortable.

“Although I must say, an alpha that doesn't fit into typical description...” he added and Orion chuckled with him but Selena narrowed her eye at them. Zaden leaned to kiss her cheeks, in an attempt to calm her down and her eyes snapped open.

“YOU drank alcohol!!!” she said with an exclamation and Zaden's eye widened involuntarily.

“Busted!!!” Orion wiggled his eyebrow at Zaden.

“I will ignore that since I need to talk to you, in private” Zaden felt relief and stood up before stretching his hands to Selena. She glared and took his hands. They walked into the woods, not so far from Orion. He could still see them, leaned on trees opposite each other, at least 6 feet apart, not closely knit and kissing. Selena seems to have brought up something important and Zaden listened attentively from the other end. He rubbed his lips with a frown, asking questions to Selena every now and then. She answered him. It looks ‘strictly business’ and went on for 25 minutes or so. After their discussion was over, they came back with Selena trailing behind Zaden, hand in hand.

“See you...I need to fuck her” Zaden said, simply to irritate Orion. Selena swatted his hands. Orion took another sip from his beer bottle.

“Of course you would. I'm all out since you finished the last 4 bottles, why would you stay then?” Orion facing the woods, smirking with satisfaction

“You finished 4 bottles?” Selena's eyes widened with anger. Zaden just joined Orion and took a few sips but Orion did that on purpose, to irritate Selena and get Zaden into trouble.

“No baby, I took just a few sips” Selena wasn't in the mood to listen, she just dashed off. Zaden pursed his lips and stride to Orion, punching his back. He shrugged in pain and turned around but Zaden was already behind Selena, in their room.

“Let go” Selena was still upset with Zaden. She tried in vain to push him away but no way that is going to work. He remained latched to her neck with his seductive breathy moans.

“You can't fight me Alpha Selena” a smirk felt on her neck and she immediately felt a slip between her thighs. What is it with that word, Alpha Selena? He used her momentary weakness and pulled her shirt off, overhead and threw it away. A pair of round curves, covered in chili red laced bra stare back at him.

“Oh baby girl...these are beautiful...” he leaned down and kissed the curves rising just above her laced bra hem. He slides her shorts off her hip, revealing a matching chili red panty.

“Zaden...” his name came out sexy and stretched, while Zaden was busy kissing and fondling her breast.

Her fingers are tangled in his hair and her breathing is unstable as Zaden does his magic on her now, hard protruding nipples underneath the lace. Her heartbeat
