Chapter 112: Goodbye

Sol had been training while observing the ice ball, when he senses someone gets into the mini-world, it was the first time he had a visitor in a while.

At first, He thought it was Nerodia, but after a while, he found out that it was not the snake girl.

A girl with black hair and a blood-red dress come toward him, She definitely was a Demigod as she did not feel cold in the mini world with such thin clothes.

Sol was a bit wary even though he did not feel any hostility from the girl, there was a possibility that the girl was sent by Vulcan or Gaea.

He did not know how did she come into the mini-world without him noticing it beforehand, if she comes in by force than he should have known.

The only possible explanation was Nerodia allow her to come into the mini-world, she had equal control if not more control of the mini-world with him.

Sol secretly summons his knife and conjures some trap around him in case she attacks him, but to his surprise, she just comes straight at him as if it was the most natural thing.

"I miss you, Sol!" She said while throwing herself into his embrace which puzzled him.

"What? Who is this girl? Did I have a secrete admirer or something?" He thought, but he did not lower his guard as the chance of a fan coming for him was pretty low.

Of course, he did not exclude the possibility that she was someone he knew, after a few seconds of brainstorming, Sol finally found a clue who she might be.

"Moon? You are moon right?" Sol pushed the girl back from embracing him as he questioned her.

She looked at him in the eyes and nodded with a cheeky grin on her face, ho could see her tail swaying behind her back even though she did not have a tail in her human form.

After confirming the girl identity, Sol become a bit more relaxed, he was sure that she was Moon unless she was an impostor that has monitor them for a long time, there was no way she could behave like Moon so perfectly.

Moon had refused to use the crystals to become a demigod even thought Nerodia had offered her the chance, She did not want to take an important resource when she could accomplish it herself.

She had been hunting for creatures every day so she could be one sooner, finally, after weeks of struggle, she could become one with her own effort.

As for the method of becoming a demigod, Nerodia had helped her with it, She shared her own experience on becoming one and it was a big help to the wolf girl.

Moon was not talkative since before, she only wants to be near him while Sol was training his ability.

Not long after that, Nerodia also arrives there to bring her to the pantheon building to join their pantheon.

Nerodia seemed to purposely let Moon went first so they could have some time alone, Moon missed him quite a bit as Sol had been in the mini-world for more than twenty days.

Once Moon joins the pantheon, Sol gains some understanding of her conjuring ability, it was a blood conjuring.

He found the aspect of her conjuring quite strange, if he needs to name then he would call the ability as undying blood or all-controlling blood.

Sol thought he won't be able to gain any insight from her joining the pantheon but out of his expectation, he actually gains quite a bit of insight in healing dome ability.

Moon's ability has quite a lot of relation with healing and stoping other's healing, it helped Sol have more understanding of what could be healed and how to utilize the healing dome to slow other's healing ability.

It's quite a major insight, he himself did not expect t have such again, currently, it made healing dome closer to be a minor demigod level ability than sun ice.

Although it still has a long way to go, the healing dome was still leading in terms of progression, still, Sol had no plan of changing his focus, the insight was an unexpected turn of event.

He could not expect to meet with more insight as easy as that, he would need to find more insight by himself, so it was better that he went with the simpler sun ice that the mysterious healing dome.

By observing the ice ball, Sol concludes that it grew by absorbing cold, different from sun ice who absorbs heat, it absorbs cold in the air to grow.

It took the temperature as a building block, not a molecule, it did not make sense if he sees it as a scientist, but for a magician it quite makes sense.

As long there was enough building block that was the cold temperature, it could be used by the ice to grow.

The only problem for Sol was how to apply them to his sun ice, Sun ice use heat rather than cold, his modern knowledge was in the way of his insight.

Turning his head away from an unsolvable puzzle, Sol observes the other seed to see if they exhibit any change, He might be able to solve it if he had another inspiration.

In the next week, two seeds had become Nymph as well, it was the reverse one and the uneven one.

It turned out that the reverse one just becomes a normal nymph without any deviation, while the uneven one was quite special.

It looked like a girl but less feminine, its hair was shorter and its chest was flat, if he needs to choose a word then he would call it androgynous.

Learning his lesson, Sol did not ask Nerodia to check, he just asks the Nymph directly if it was a girl or a boy, as simple as that.josei

Nymphs were intelligent creatures, they understand human language and can communicate with him, so he could just ask.

It seemed to be a bit confused by the concept of gender but it gave him affirmative in the end, he somehow had created a male version of a Nymph.

The problem was he had no way to replicate his success, the uneven imprint was made at random, he could create another one but it won't be the exact same imprint, this one was a fluke.

"Should I try to make more or not?" he wondered.

In the end, Sol decide against it, he would likely fail his experiment and it could kill the seed, he did not want to do that as he had seen such an act similar to human experimentation.

There was nothing he could do to those he had experimented on but he could refrain from experimenting on more.

Nerodia's experiment also show some results but she kept it a secret, she only told him that she failed to create what the need.

She urges him to create more of the male nymph but Sol told her that he could not, it was luck that he made one on his first try.

There was no telling how many trials he needed to replicate his success, it would not be cost-efficient to do so.

"We could just let them reproduce after a few years there will be enough population to go by themselves," Sol said.

"Nymph does not die of old age anyway, one is enough to fulfill the task, at some point there would be male nymph born naturally from his descendant," he added.

"Fine, we do as you say," Nerodia agreed with his reason.

In his remaining time, Sol created more imprinted seed so they could be nymph soon, and help him in his journey in the underworld by sharing their insight.

The time of departure finally come after three and a half month in the mini-world, Nerodia was able to extend the time by spending more Crystal to fule her ability.

Sol was saying his goodbye to Nerva and Miya, both of them only got to spend two days with Sol after he went out of the mini-world and he already needs to leave them.

There was no telling how long he would take to come back, his journey was very hard and dangerous, if he told them it was not then they would call him a liar.

"Take care of yourself, if you need anything just ask Moon or Nerodia," He said goodbye to his daughter.

It might only be a year since he has her, but he felt like he knew her way longer, if he had the chance then he won't leave her but, he did not.

If Sol did not go as the Gods planed then they would send people to kill him, it would also endanger people around him, included Nerva.

After telling Moon and Nerodia to take care of the other as they were the stronger among the group, Sol went toward the temple in a burst of speed.
