Chapter 1341: The Culprit
When Shang Xia was fucking about and wondering how he should enter the Solitary Peak Heavenly Lake, the high-level True Immortals of the Spirit Abundance World and those who came were in a terse standoff outside the heavenly screen.
2 fifth tier True Immortals from the Star Origin Lord Manor had come, and they were Yuan Yan and Pei Lu. The Spirit Mammoth World also sent 2 fifth tier True Immortals, Hong Xian and Xuan Bo. True Immortal Shao, Qu Guan, and Kou Chongxue, the fourth tier True Immortals of the Spirit Tinkle World, Spirit Thistle World, and Spirit Luxuriant World showed up.
There were even True Immortals of several Azure Worlds who came.
All of them gathered around the Spirit Abundance World to demand the release of the truth of the Frost Wave and swear never to draw over and absorb the energy from the Frost Wave to weaken the World’s Will again. They also wanted to know everything about the Essence Ping World.
Above the heavenly screen, Xiong Hu and Cang Xuandao, who were the strongest True Immortals of the Spirit Abundance World, stood to face them. With the exception of the Elysium True Immortals who were stationed in their territories, almost every True Immortal of their world had gathered.
That wasn’t all. Not too far away from the True Immortals of the Spirit Abundance World, 7 Star Ships that were pretty much the same size and build drifted over.
No matter which direction they moved, they seemed to form a sort of formation that had its full power directed at the high-level True Immortals of the other worlds and dao field.
Their first demand couldn’t be considered excessive at all. The Frost Wave contained the frost qi from the Essence Ping World and all the Spirit Abundance World needed to do was to agree not to absorb it any longer. They didn’t hide the fact that they had been absorbing it the entire time anyway. All they had to do was not to actively draw over the Frost Wave.
Since they learned that the Star Origin Lord’s intention was to take over the World’s Will of the Essence Ping World, the Spirit Abundance World was naturally no longer willing to make his job easier. Moreover, their stance was to work with the Star Origin Dao Field and Spirit Mammoth World to deal with the Essence Ping World.
Actually, even if the others didn’t come over to pressure them, they wouldn’t absorb energy actively any longer. They just didn’t know which fucking asshole had been spreading the rumor that they were helping the Star Origin Lord in the first place. After all, they were unwilling to watch the Essence Ping World weaken and be devoured by the Star Origin Lord who would eventually wipe them out.
However... They only promised to no longer actively draw over energy from the Essence Ping World to be refined. They couldn’t possibly watch as the frost qi leaked and was wasted as the energy disappeared, right?
That created the next question for the experts of the other worlds. How should they seal off the heavenly screen of the Essence Ping World such that its energy would no longer leak.
The fifth tier True Immortals of the Spirit Abundance World simply mentioned that their world was unable to seal it themselves as it would require sealing a portion of the void. The tear was created by the supreme existence back then and the remnant energy was stopping the tear from closing
Actually, the experts of the Star Origin Dao Field and the Spirit Mammoth World had a feeling the experts of the Spirit Abundance World were able to close the tear and were merely not willing to do so because they didn’t wish to pay the price.
As for getting them to share everything they knew about the Essence Ping World... The experts of the Spirit Abundance World simply stated that they knew nothing.
Clearly, they were lying. However, the experts of the Spirit Abundance World were all in agreement and none of them investigated the tear in the void in the past. They didn’t know it was connected to the Essence Ping World either.
Unable to reach an agreement, someone decided to call for the Spirit Abundance World to show a little sincerity by getting rid of their Elysium Grand Formation’s ability to draw over the Frost Wave from the tear in the void.
How could the members of the Spirit Abundance World agree easily to that?
They were willing to promise not to do it, but once they successfully conquered the Essence Ping World and the Star Origin Lord failed, they would spare nothing to draw over the energy of the Essence World to strengthen themselves!
After all... It might just be their one way ticket to becoming an Essence World!
Also, by getting rid of a part of their Elysium Grand Formation would weaken it regardless. That would mean that the safety of their world would be compromised!
In the eyes of the experts of the Spirit Abundance World, everyone else was plotting against them when they suggested getting rid of an ability of the Elysium Grand Formation.
With both sides unable to reach an agreement, the world origin gathered around the 9 great Elysiums grew stronger and their grand formation was eventually reaching full power.
At the same time, the 7 Star Ships that had been hovering around started to get into position.
The battle between the Spirit Abundance World and the others seemed imminent!
Right before anything could happen, True Immortal Su Kun of the Heaven Embroidery Palace seemed to feel something and she walked forward to say something to the fourth tier True Immortal of her faction.
The high-level True Immortal shot her a glance and she quickly dived back into the heavenly screen.
Kou Chongxue was the only person on their side paying attention to the Heaven Embroidery Palace and when he saw Su Kun rushing back into the world, his pupils trembled slightly but he quickly concealed his emotions. He placed his attention back on their negotiations.
...
In the Solitary Peak Heavenly Lake...
When the second spatial tunnel appeared, Shang Xia’s figure appeared in the Elysium once again.
The aura of a second tier True Immortal filled the Elysium as he didn’t bother hiding his strength, and he made it seem as though he was sure Tang Yu wouldn’t be able to stop him.
“Hmph, you’re just a second tier True Immortal! How dare you try to infiltrate my Elysium?!” Tang Yu appeared right beside it, and Shang Xia, who was ‘celebrating’ his successful entry, froze. He quickly retracted his aura as though he was afraid of getting caught.
“Who?!” Shang Xia glanced at his surroundings before locking on to a certain spot in the void. He gasped, “Wait, that’s impossible! How did you appear here?”
Tang Yu strolled out of the void and beside her, powerful ripples appeared as streams of energy activated countless runes in the air. They slowly surrounded Shang Xia.
“Do you really think I haven’t discovered the markings you left in my Elysium?! I left them there to catch you when you returned! Heh... I really wish to look at which True Immortal was responsible for getting me locked in here!” Tang Yu’s tone was icy and filled with venom as she spat.
Speaking of which, the reason she was trapped in the Solitary Peak Heavenly Lake to become a True Immortal was because Shang Xia stole the Heaven Supporting Jade Pillar, causing the Elysium to nearly collapse. She was trapped there and eventually took the place of the Heaven Supporting Jade Pillar and fused into the Elysium.
Shang Xia looked at the runes gathering in the air around him and the spatial tunnel shattering behind him. He maintained his nonchalant look but it was finally replaced with a look of shock when he saw Tang Yu. “Huh? You already became a second tier True Immortal?!”
Tang Yu snorted coldly in response, “I’ve been cultivating for 20 years and I have made some achievements. It’s a shame you’re not as lucky. I haven’t entered the second tier of the Martial Void Realm for long, and not many people in the Spirit Abundance World know about my achievements. I can also create clones now. Since you’re here, you better not think of leaving!”
