Starsign Lord

116 Honest Answer - Chapter 116

116 Honest Answer - Chapter 116

Arden chuckles a little and speaks.

It seems like you are happy, Fraus."

Fraus answers as he keeps smiling and opens his hands, showing that it is all good.

"There are many reasons to be happy."

Belgrum chuckles and then speaks.

"May we sit if you are not waiting for anyone?"We can introduce you to our friend and team member. "

As Belgrum speaks, he shows Elaina his hand. Elaina slowly nods her head. She does everything she can to keep her mouth shut and hide the fearful emotion circulation in her soul and body, but she still gives some hints about her emotional state.

"Of course, friends of you and Arden are my friends."

With the words of Fraus, Elaina's face gets much calmer as the trio sits on the empty chairs. The waiter comes directly and everyone orders a drink; a wine, beer, and black wine. Arden makes a joke as he orders the black wine.

"I believe you are the one who will pay for our things. It is not good to make friends pay in your place."

Fraus says nothing but just shows a wicked smile as Belgrum asks Arden.

"This place belongs to Fraus. I did not know about that."

Belgrum speaks as he shows an impressed face. Elaina was too impressed. The place looks good and the prices are middle to a high level. Of course, the prices are low and middle for her and other Torch Level beings, but if one is not a Starsign User, an ordinary human being can only come here on special days, such as birthdays and wedding anniversaries.

At that time, Arden speaks again, this time introducing Elaina officially.

"Fraus, this is Elaine. By the way, she is our third member and information collector, if you know what I mean."

Fraus nodded and thought, "Information Collector is a name for a torturer."

"Nice to meet you, Elaine. I am Fraus, the student and friend of Arden, as well as of Belgrum too,"

He laughs as he says that Arden is his master. Arden shows an ugly face, Belgrum laughs like a maniac, and Elaina shows an interesting face. She knows Arden and what kind of power he holds, but she does not know very much about Fraus, other than suspicion of him being possibly the one who helped them and controls more than ten individuals or beings with power levels each stronger than themselves. She does not know or feel anything coming out of Fraus.

She knows by instinct that the man in front of him, Fraus, is stronger than herself and capable of killing three of them without much of a problem.

Elaine came back to her senses and answered.

"Nice to meet you Fraus. I am Elaina, as others already said. It is surprising to hear that you are a student of Arden considering power. "

Fraus chuckles a little, takes a sip from his drink, and answers.

"I am a fast learner,"

Elaine smiles, saying nothing, understanding that Fraus has no intention of talking about this matter. In the end, everybody has secrets. A secret of Starsign User is more important than many things, and it is expected that even members of small organizations and big organizations would not tell their leader about these things.

So, Fraus, I will be straight with you and not go around the bush.

Arden spoke as his eyes and face turned serious. He put his hands together in a defensive state. Fraus laid back on his chair and took another sip from his drink. Elaine remained silent, making no changes to her body language or facial expressions. Everybody seemed ready for anything.

"Are you the one who saved us back at the Phasma Forest?" the leader of Unity, and those men and women, each at the level of Torch Level, are your people."

Arden asked many questions in just seconds. Fraus takes a deep breath and then thinks. "Lying at this point gives me no return." "I do not want to kill these people, as they did nothing and I do not have enough bloodlust and maniac mind to destroy them."

Fraus thought for about seven seconds and then spoke.

"Yes, I am unity and I saved you from Genesis and these people were my members."

He answered his question of Arden in just one breath.

Arden and others give off satisfying breaths. It seems like a question bothering their mind is answered and the mind who is looking for an answer is set free from the questions that are bothering their mind to such a degree that it makes them feel good about themselves and satisfied. Now that they know who saved them, they know who to be good to and consider their friends. It was true that there was no chance for them to know if they were going to die there, but it was more than likely.

Nox was there, but she was stopped and delayed by the other creatures. Before she could even help them, it was more than likely that they would be killed by the horde of creatures attacking them from every point. They are strong, but they are humans, and they cannot fight five or ten creatures at once, especially when they are not human creatures.

Fighting against humans is easier for most people because as humans, they are known to have powerful pattern attacks, like a warrior using a sword or an ability, but the monsters are not like that. Most of the time, they attack from unknown angles with unknown means.

Arden closes his eyes for a second and thinks for two seconds before speaking.

"First of all, Fraus, thank you for saving us."

Frau Fraus nodded and answered.

"It is no problem, Arden. You are the one who taught me the simplest things in this place."

Arden shook his head and then spoke.

"No, we must thank you at least. We can say that with our words. You saved our lives against our biggest and most mortal enemy. "

Fraus was taken aback by the eyes of Arden. It showed dedication, power, and belief. as well as gratitude. He smiles a little and thinks, "How funny, humans value their lives too much. They value their self-being too much."
