“A-Arron,” | stuttered as | walked into the room and saw one of my husband's close friends the mate of my sworn protector chained by his throat to the wall.
| turned and Elizebeth was downcast sitting on a chair silent face neutral but set. | felt | knew her enough to know she was keeping her thoughts well buried.
