When she said this, Max stared at her in silence, making her nervous.

"What is… mmph!"

She started to say but Max leaned forward and sealed her lips with his, muffling her words.

After kissing her for a good one minute, he pulled back, leaving her breathless and with an intoxicated look on her pretty face.

Seeing this, Max felt the urge to pull her in his embrace, kiss her until he was satiated, and then make intense love to her.

However, since he had things to tell her to make sure she didn't get angry with him, and also because she needed to properly rest and recover, he controlled himself.
