Strongest Spirit Beast Master Family

Chapter 7: Chapter 7 Warning

Chapter 7: Chapter 7 Warning

Saying that, Adam was about to enter the back mountain with a member of the Blaze family, but as they took their first step, Adam saw a slightly thin figure carrying a large cloth bag slowly approaching them.

"Regret?" Adam raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"What, you already don't recognize me after just a short time?" Regret chuckled, flicked his arm lightly, and the heavy cloth bag landed with a thud on the ground, kicking up dust.

"Regret, you're... fine?" A young man named ken looked at the teenager in front of him with a puzzled expression.

He thought that when he saw Regret again, the latter would at least be in a sorry state, but now, apart from some slightly torn clothes, he looked surprisingly clean.

"What could possibly happen to me?" Regret smiled, glanced at the spirit beast crouching on ken's shoulder, the Great Tailed Black Bat, a medium novice level spirit beast estimated to be around the Seventh Rank. He remembered that ken's previous spirit beast was of a lower grade, so there must have been something happen that led to his contract with the Great Tailed Black Bat.

Apart from the contracted spirit beast, the only way to tame more spirit beasts was through such contracts. When a Spirit novice advances to a Spirit warrior, another spiritual space will emerge within the body. To get new spirit beasts, one must form a contract.

The contract between a Spirit Master and a spirit beast is also known as a spirit contract.

"It's good that you're fine." Ken breathed a sigh of relief, feeling relieved that Regret was intact.

"By the way, what's in this big bag? Could it be some kind of medicinal herb?" Adam looked at the slightly deformed cloth bag on the ground filled with items, sounding somewhat curious.

"Ding!"

While speaking, a worn out part of the cloth bag suddenly protruded a fifth rank spirit core, dropping crisply amid shocked gazes. This fifth rank spirit core was the one Regret tossed in after killing the snow ape.

"This... a fifth rank spirit core?" Adam's voice abruptly stopped as he saw the bag collapse softly, scattering numerous shiny spirit cores on the ground. Adam and the Blaze family members were stunned by the sight of the pile of spirit cores, as silence fell over the Blaze family territory. After a moment, Adam and the others regained their senses, staring incredulously at Regret.

"Did you strike it rich?" Adam blurted out nervously,he unable to collect as many spirit cores in a day, some were even third or fourth rank, including a fifth rank. He was inclined to believe Regret stumbled upon a buried treasure from a spirit master.

Though not rare to fifth rank cores, considering Regret only awakened his spirit yesterday , also a Flame Cat whose abilities initially lagged even low rank spirit beasts more stood out than it. Feeling slighted, Red tugged at Regret's hair, prompting Adam to notice the difference.

"That's not right, this isn't a Flame Cat. It looks like... like a scorching Flame Cat!" Adam's excited voice trailed off, and he even felt somewhat ridiculous himself. The Scorching Flame Cat was a high ranking novice level spirit beast and extremely rare. He had only ever heard of it but never actually seen one before.

"If I'm not mistaken, it really does seem like a Scorching Flame Cat," Regret said with a faint smile. Without revealing the truth, it seemed like there would be no legitimate explanation for the source of these spirit cores today.

With Regret's confirmation, several members of the Blaze family felt a bit dizzy. A high ranking novice level spirit beast was still a distant existence for them, yet Regret, who had just awakened his spiritual senses yesterday, already possessed one!

"Ken, go get another sack. Make sure it's the sturdiest one!" Adam, worthy of a captain, quickly recovered from the shock, forced a wry smile, and waved at the near dazed Ken.

Ken , with a peculiar expression, glanced at Regret, then stiffly fetched a sturdy sack from a pile of miscellaneous items. He began collecting the scattered spirit cores from the ground one by one.

Regret's lips moved as he intended to share some of the spirit cores with Adam and others, but thinking about the strength of their spirit beasts, he gave up on the idea. Even a fifth tier spirit core would be of little use to their spirit beasts.

"Regret, do not reveal that you have a high ranking novice level spirit beast," Adam said sternly. The city of Veloria wasn't solely dominated by the Blaze family; family like the Snow, Sky, and Met also had considerable power, not inferior to the Blaze family.

Among these, there was a particularly unique force: the Angsana Pavilion. Every spiritual practitioner in Veloria City knew that the Angsana Pavilion was a neutral organization, present in every corner of the town. Aside from making money, they did not engage in ordinary disputes or battles.

The Blaze, Snow, Sky, and Met families frequently interacted with each other. However, the interactions between the Blaze and Snow families were not particularly friendly. From Regret's earliest memories, the Blaze and Snow families had been engaged in both open and covert conflicts.

If someone from the Snow family learned that Regret owned a high ranking novice level spirit beast while still a spiritual novice, they would undoubtedly be on edge.

The only way to eliminate this unease is to find an opportunity to get rid of Regret and kill off the Scorching Flame Cat!

So, Adam attached great importance to this matter.

"Don't worry, I'm not a child anymore. Except at the Blaze family, I won't show the Scorching Flame Cat to anyone else." Regret picked up the cloth bag from the ground and slung it over his shoulder, rejecting Adam and the others' offer to escort him. He lazily waved his hand, and with the excited Red beside him, he leisurely walked towards the Blaze family.
