Summoned and Unwanted

Chapter 505

Chapter 505

505 The new hair tie looks nice

“I know about your situation from Vincent. I am not afraid of you because of your class because I do not care what your class can do.” Sofy bluntly said while leading Jun Ye Rim to an empty room.

“Really?”

“Yes. The person who saved me is called by everyone the curse upon the world. But he was the only person who saved me from ninety years of slavery and gave me a good life.”

Jun Ye Rim became shocked to hear Sofy say this without showing signs of sadness. Sofy showed how she had decided to move on with her life.

“After all the men I served while treading the fine line between life and death, my heart fluttered for the first time when I was rejected.”

“You... you also like Vincent? Is that why you wanted to join their pervert display?” Asked Jun Ye Rim.

“Yes, Jun Ye Rim. He is my chosen one.” *Cough* “Not to change the subject, but didn’t Vincent, other than breaking your arm, break the door to your heart too?” Sofy bluntly asked while changing the subject.

“P-pre-preposterous!” Jun Ye Rim stuttered. Her blushed cheeks and ears became bright again.

“Hehe.” Sofy giggled.

.....

“Humph!” Jun Ye Rim stopped talking, yet she willingly followed Sofy to an empty room. There they had many branching conversations, causing Jun Ye Rim to understand why Vincent didn’t accept Sofy’s advances.

‘I have never seen a horny elf like this in my entire life.’ Jun Ye Rim concluded.

The sky turned dark hours later. After eating a lovely group dinner with Ganni, Russo, and Bessy attending, Vincent prepared to return to the academy.

“Here is this week’s payment. ” Bessy said while handing Vincent a magic contract scroll.

“Thank you. I hope you had a good week.” Vincent responded.

“It’s been... fine as usual, hehe.” Bessy joked. She said farewell and headed back inside.

*Lusterfall Noble Academy*

Vincent jumped down from the carriage. He was suddenly complemented by the new hair tie with a pearl attached to it. Or so it seemed.

Going back was a smooth ride, as usual, with the even flat ground of the high-class district. During that time, Vincent attached a thin string to the cracks of the small slime core in his hand.

The core was as small as a pearl, and it was easy to mistake it for a pearl at first glance. He tied the string to the hair tie and fixed his hair.

“How do I look?” Vincent asked.

[It is small enough to look good.]

“Handsome. ” Sofy responded.

“Thanks.”

Previously, Vincent was shocked to find out how the slime core could only be used as an ingredient because all the mana had leaked from the cracks. After thinking it wasn’t a suitable gift for his wives, nor could they process it, Vincent decided to make himself look slightly wealthier.

Sofy later left, and the large group headed back.

Jun Ye Rim went to her bedroom. She rested on her bed and looked at the ceiling.

Blemish materialized and tried to comfort its master as Jun Ye Rim had an unhappy expression on her face.

“Don’t worry, Blemish. I just didn’t think someone would have had a worse life than me. I had a good life when I was young and unawakened, but poor Sofy was a slave from the moment she was born.”

In a bedroom miles away, Sofy looked at the ceiling and murmured to herself, “Even elves who aren’t slaves have a hard life. I guess I can act friendlier next time I meet a fellow elf with a bad fate.”

*Day 147 – 02 November – Monday*

The next morning dawned, and the morning proceeded as usual with a twist. Their team had become one of the top ten teams to fight against.

Regrettably, it was in the top ten of the most voted weakest team in the academy instead of the strongest.

Many students glanced at Vincent and Nick, but they refrained from approaching because of Vincent’s infamy to retaliate when being threatened and Nick for maltreating women.

In the afternoon, Vincent returned to the island instead of attending Maria’s lesson. Lilith had gotten used to being in the company of Nick, Clair, and Jun Ye Rim.

Vincent went to the study room and summoned a few papers he had brought from home. Kazumi re-read what she saw in the book, and Vincent wrote what she said.

Ester entered the study room when she heard scribbling noises. She saw Vincent secretly writing something with a bottle full of ink at his side. It gave the impression Vincent was planning to write a lot.

Ester curiously approached and saw the title of the first page. “Ways to comprehend Sigil Magic Glyph Version.” She read.

“Ohh, Ester, you are here.” Said Vincent in a surprised tone. He was concentrating on listening to Kazumi, making sure he didn’t write a spelling mistake and writing with a quill.

“What are you doing here instead of going to Maria’s lesson? You know she is going to get grumpy again. ”

“I am going to write you a book I bought from the auction.”

“Write a book you bought? Vincent, you are confusing me.”

“The writer succumbed to the dangerous nature of the Sigil Mage magic, and he became paralyzed. Based on what Kazumi read, the man tested various ways to make the Glyph Sigil stronger.”

Vincent shook his head and continued, “Unfortunately, the last page was written by a different hand and filled with spelling mistakes. On the page was written, “Lost control for the last time.”

“He... he suffered like Tiffi, and I did...”

“I won the auction, paid for the book, and let Kazumi read it. I later returned the book because I deemed it to be an irreplaceable memory to the family.”

Ester hugged Vincent from behind. “Thank you for being so kind.” She said she was happy to hear about Vincent’s generous act.

That day, Vincent managed to write ten pages out of the fifty pages before stopping. His fingers felt sore after writing with an object he wasn’t used to.

Ester was happy with the ten pages as on them were parts of the basic Glyph imitations the Sigil Mage class creates. There were also theories with dozens of sentences on how to improve some basic Glyph imitations possibly.

At the end of the day, the ten pages in Ester’s hand were treated like a treasure. She carefully stored them in an unused nightstand drawer and told everyone not to mess around with the nightstand before she went to sleep.

*Day 148 – 03 November – Tuesday*

*Day 149 – 04 November – Wednesday*

*Day 150 – 05 November – Thursday*

Two days passed and today was Thursday, the day of the ranking matches of the new month, the month where the win would start to count. It was going to be a hectic day for many.

In the previous two days, Aceon visited Lilith’s parents and gratefully thanked them. Teresa Lionheart explained in the letter how Aceon used to have an importing company before he sold all the shares for money.

Viscount Aceon Ponalis agreed to join the Lionheart hide business by taking care of the importing matters with some of his old connections.

However, the business was on a small scale, with the hobgoblins splitting their day learning how to tan pelts and hide and helping out in their maid or butler duty.

Unfortunately, there was nowhere written in the letter about Tiffi waking up. They could only hope the next letter would have news of her awake.

In the morning, the five gathered in front of the mansion to leave. Vincent, Lilith, Nick, Clair, and Jun Ye Rim teleported to the hectic arrival hall.

As the five were prepared to experience in their arrival at the arrival hall, many students rushed to offer a challenge.

Some even tried to threaten them, but fortunately, there were so many team leaders present offering a match that those who resorted to cheap tricks such as intimidation or bullying were receiving frowns and glares.

Kazumi noticed the five they beat last week, looking at a live broadcast intently. They acted as if the commotion of Vincent’s team wasn’t happening.

“I am sorry to say this, but we already made a promise with a team before coming here. ” Vincent announced.

“Who is it?” One of the team leaders asked. He didn’t believe Vincent from the sound of his tone and the displeased frown on his face.

Vincent pointed at the team he was promised a free win and responded, “They are already waiting for us.”

The team leaders moved their gaze to where Vincent’s finger pointed and frowned. “That’s last week’s team.” They all said.

Vincent didn’t give the team leaders time to complain. He grabbed Lilith’s hand and moved between the frowning team leaders.

Nick felt bad that he couldn’t copy Vincent and hold Clair’s hand. He decided to widen his shoulders and make way for Clair to follow after him without showing that they were dating.

On the other hand, Jun Ye Rim followed Clair while doing what she knew best. She ignored everyone’s words and kept walking.

“Were you waiting for us?” Vincent asked with a smirk.

The team leader who had pushed Nick to the floor turned around. He became flustered, showing how he wasn’t too happy to see Vincent today.

*Sigh* “Let’s get it over with.” He said

A few minutes later...

The match was over, and Vincent’s team won as planned. The match almost repeated itself with a few slight variations.

The opponents cast their spells when Vincent and Nick appeared, intending to miss their target with the excuse of feeling under the weather today.
