Chapter 170: Perspective of Power
Chapter 170: Perspective of Power
"By the way," Rin thought of something and asked, "What if Erix's source becomes death-dominated and leans towards that evolution? Will he ever be fixed or remain that way?"
Lilith thought for a moment and then rubbed her temple as she concluded after thinking for a bit.
"It will become even harder to fix him or nearly impossible for a long time because after his source leans towards death-based evolution, he will need someone on the level of Granny May to fix him, or he would need to reach that level to alter his existential powers."
"…"
"That sounds like apocalyptic hard and a long, long time."
"You can count people on the level of Granny May, so yeah. There's not even a guarantee that you and I would reach that level," Lilith helplessly smiled.
"Wait, can Granny May help Erix now?" Rin quickly asked with shining eyes.
"Unfortunately, nope," Lilith shook her head. "She is in a big trouble. That's why she is here. I don't know the big picture, and I am not even qualified for it, but she told me her situation in simple words."
Rin waited as Lilith continued.
"Someone more powerful than her bound her to the Abyss Realm and forced her to manage it. She has to follow certain rules that are already predetermined and stay here for an indefinite time."
"By the way, Abyss Realm means that I am talking about all five Abyss worlds, not just this Kaalanx Abyss. She has her avatars in all five abysses," Lilitth said.
"Alright, that's enough for today," Rin rubbed her temples. "I'll focus on goals in front of me right now. Is it easy to get females here? Erix can't kill monsters for two months, but he needs to suck women dry these two months, right?"
"Exactly, he can't just do nothing these two months," Lilith nodded. "If I buy him life-attributed resources instead, we won't even keep up with the earnings and his spending, and it will also progress slower than this method."
Rin helplessly smiled. "We are not enough, and I will even need a day or two to fully recover."
"We must absorb his essence. It's fine. He won't get exhausted for the next five days anyway. After that, he will only need to sleep for ten hours to recover his spirit to full and continue working hard," Lilith chuckled.
"The best way is to let him release loads and then him sucking dry other girls. They will get a crazy experience of a zombie once," Lilith snickered.
"Well, I hope he can find some energetic and full-of-life targets," Rin helplessly smiled.
"He will get it," Lilith smirked. "We are going on a dangerous journey, and we won't be alone at the places. There will be powerful and beautiful women with Bloodlines that are not death-related. As long as Erix impresses them, he will be fine."
"And if we encounter some nasty bitches, it would be fine if he sucks them dry," Rin sneered.
Lilith raised her eyebrows, "I'm glad I didn't have to tell you this. In fact, I actually have a target for Erix that we'll forcefully rein in."
"What?" Rin was taken back. "Really? In Fallen Land?"
"Yep. She is a peak Royal-order powerhouse, someone with a flame-attributed dragon bloodline."
"…"
Rin was speechless. "Do you want to kill him? A royal-order powerhouse and one with a dragon bloodline at that?"
"She will crush his dick."
"Who said she is more powerful than me?" Lilith crossed her arms and smirked. "Reinala, the Crimson Lady. Before I awakened and got my Bloodline evolved thanks to Erix, I would have definitely lost to her, but as I am now, I can kill and control her both."
"So, what feud do you have with her?" Rin curiously asked.
"None," Lilith shrugged. "But she is rather exotic. Her favorite food ingredients are humans, dwarves, and elves."
"What?!" Rin was dumbfounded.
"Well, she is a true dragon, not just a human who has a dragon bloodline," Lilith wryly smiled. "Even among other dragons, she is more cruel and lavish. Her base is in the area that is accessible when Fallen land falls in the Abyss Depths."
"Does she eat…any age of other humans, dwarves, and such people?" Rin asked, feeling strange and somewhat familiar.
"Well, unlike how we wait for a baby chicken to grow before eating, she has her dining schedule ready. She gets ingredients every month from her sub-organizations in the inner and core domains. She has a…farm, much like a poultry farm of exotic fishes and beasts."
"H-how?! Then the rule of ten-level difference is useless," Rin mumbled.
"Nobody cares. She dines on her exotic farmed 'ingredients' four times a month," Lilith shrugged. "Those who care are too weak, and those who are powerful don't care."
"But, I felt that she was a good target for Erix because her Fire-bloodline is not just a simple flame. Her fire's uniqueness is its characteristic power, Radiant Vitality Blaze."
"Sounds like something useful to Erix," Rin raised her eyebrows.
"Yep. When I was gone for a bit after knowing his situation, I went to Granny May to get her information," Lilith grinned.
"But, still… I never thought I would hear about dwarves, elves, and human poultry farms," Rin felt strange, weird, and instinctive anger.
'Is this how those chickens must feel if they had sentience? Jeez.'
"Rin, you can't care enough for others on this path to evolution," Lilith smiled. "Whatever you want to do, you need power to accomplish that. Your conscience must have its balance and should center around you and those who you absolutely care about."
"I've lost everyone I cared about until I met Lily and found one. And then, I expanded myself when I found hope in Erix. Now, I have two more people in my life that I care about," Lilith smiled.
"You are first in my king's heart, and I am fine with it," Lilith grinned.
"I don't know if you are just buttering up or just saying what you feel," Rin chuckled.
"I don't need to butter up to people I care about," Lilith shrugged. "I'll just say whatever I want to them. You've accepted me wholeheartedly for Erix based on both emotional and logical conclusions. You have the potential to not get lost."
"And that tells me why your reaction towards this human poultry farm was mostly based on the absolute perspective."
"Mostly, not fully," Rin wryly smiled.
"I don't blame you for that because that's normal. But you've accepted that reality and already determined that there would be more such places in other worlds or somewhere else."
Rin sighed, "Because power is what reins above others, and it is not tied by the morals of an individual or group."
"Good. Now, you won't be shocked to hear that there exist monsters who eat whole planets and whoever lives on them. The only thing that matters to them is their hunger, not the tiny morality that lives on the planet."
"You don't like it? Do you hate them? Fine, become powerful and kill them."
"…"
"I understand. Thanks for today's lesson and for increasing my knowledge yet again," Rin helplessly smiled.
"Good. Now, I think you should go and wake up Lily. Erase the awkwardness because she is not what she looks on the surface."
"Alright, I'll ease her," Rin chuckled. "Haha, I never thought I would handle my darling's harem one day. What a crazy world."
"Harems are common, and in the mighty realms, it is only available to those who possess a certain perspective," Liltih faintly smiled.
"Perceptive of power," Rin muttered as she looked at Erix.
"He has it? I believe he has," Rin nodded firmly.
"From perceptive of power, you gain perception into power, and that's how this grand cosmos thrives."
"Erix will attain it, and you will too if you want to become more powerful."
