Chapter 365: Dungeon Day, What did you see?
Chapter 365: Dungeon Day, What did you see?
Erix and Rin flew away from Phoenix City towards the southern frost regions.
As they flew over Targon city, Erix chuckled, "People made a solid base there, eh?"
The military headquarters was wholly different than before, occupied by a single guild.
Of course, Erix and Rin didn't bother visiting it and continued their way towards the south.
After flying for a while, the atmosphere started getting colder and colder.
The green scenery slowly changed into white as the clouds hid the sun, and snow rained on.
Soon, the snowfall turned into a blizzard as Erix and Rin arrived at a land of high mountains, trees, and mutated monsters.
It wasn't long before the duo sensed a dungeon gate's energy from afar within their sensing range.
Flying down, they saw a herd of fifteen Royal-order wolves a kilometer away from the dungeon.
They were ganging up on two ten-meter tall snow bears that were stronger than the wolves, but their chances of winning were low due to outnumbered and low disparity in power.
The monsters here were stronger because no humans ventured here to hunt them. They just internally killed each other and evolved, progressing faster than areas visited by humans and clans.
Erix and Rin killed all the Tundra Darkfrost wolves and the Snow Claw bear before going to the Dungeon Gate to inspect it.

"Not bad, but I hate survival dungeons," Rin clicked her tongue. "Do we really want to waste 1 hour on this?"
Erix rubbed his chin for a second before shaking his head, "We know this location, so let's put this off for now and find other dungeons."
"Yep."
The duo flew deeper but didn't bother killing monsters.
Even if they didn't kill monsters here, the Atlantis expedition had stronger monsters and those Atlantis tribes as well. They gave higher experiences for level up, but not magic cores which were required to increase one's magic power.
However, Erix and Rin didn't need magic cores since they already had max foundational stats of Royal-order lifeform rank.
Soon, they encountered another dungeon gate.

"This one is good. Let's do it," Erix said. "We'll clear it quickly."
"Alright. It's gonna be boring, but whatever," Rin wryly smiled.
After entering inside, they arrived in an open garden with ice and dark attributed trolls, each having over 80k Power level.
Erix yawned and snapped his finger, causing all trolls to enter Space Limbo where they were obliterated into dark purple motes with his Nihilir Space Flares that he could conjure in Space Limbo.
This attack was pinpointed with his space power and handy to kill weaker monsters. He just had to target everyone within his Spiritual Mystic Eye's range and consume some Prana.
Since monsters in Dungeons had low chances of dropping cores and didn't give any experience, the duo didn't even bother to check them for cores.
After killing the trolls, they moved into the huge castle before them and continued killing all monsters with ease.
In just a few minutes, they reached the Boss area.
Rin waved his hand, releasing a Chronace Slash crackling with dark red lightning and killing the boss in an instant.
The portal to exit appeared, and they also received the reward at once.
After leaving the dungeon, they went deeper and found another dungeon gate.
In the end, they cleared five dungeons before arriving at the vast ocean and decided to return back.
"Might as well clear the survival dungeon since we here. It's at least giving us the needed reward like material boxes, and most importantly, Alchemy material crates," Erix said.
"Yeah," Rin nodded.
As they flew back towards the dungeon gate, Rin suddenly got an idea, "We can just train in that dungeon actually since we don't need to kill those weak monsters ourselves."
Erix took half a second to understand what she meant and laughed, "Good idea."
…
The duo entered the survival wave dungeon, arriving on a sealed-off floating island, with thick jungle.
[The first wave will start in 10 seconds.]
However, Erix and Rin just sat down cross-legged after creating two barriers.
These barriers were not defensive, but offensive.
Erix made the barrier of Nihilir with full focus on the Dismantle aspect to annihilate monsters that pass through it while Rin made the barrier of her Chronace Flow to slow monsters and shred them with blades of Dissolution Flow.
They didn't bother using other powers in this and just made the barriers simple since these monsters were too weak for that.
The first wave arrived, bringing in demonlings of Royal-order with 50k Power level.
The moment they touched the barrier, all of them turned into ashes.
"Hahaha, I think it would be good if we regularly find powerful survival-type dungeons," Erix laughed as he saw monsters dying. "We can train and get easy rewards."
Rin nodded with a grin.
The duo leisurely sat cross-legged and entered meditation.
They had just earned those Advanced high-grade elemental crystals from the floor, so they started training without further ado.
The next wave of Demonlings arrived, stronger than before but all the same before the barriers.
One hour soon passed, marking the end of today's journey.
[Congratulations. You have successfully survived for one hour.]
"Yeah, right. It was very hard," Rin chuckled.
"Let's open the reward and leave."
The duo opened the crates and other rewards.
"The skills are nice as well. Even if we don't use them, our knowledge slightly increased," Erix grinned. "It's good."
"Mhmm," Rin nodded as she looked at the skill scroll.
…
They arrived back at the Blessed Island and it was only 7 in the evening.
Aria needed more materials, so they visited the Moondawn Elf Clan to give her materials.
"This is a good place indeed," Erix nodded as he looked at the big open pavilion with a peaceful and fragrant atmosphere. A pond was outside with bamboo and other trees in arrays, creating a serene scenery—perfect for practicing Alchemy in peace.
Moreover, there was no one except for Aria in the pavilion. She was basically a VIP elf in this Moondawn Elf clan.
"Since you are here, how about you have a feast with us?" the middle-aged clan leader of the Moondawn Elf clan asked with a smile. He was a tall and lean-figured individual.
"Nah, we'll be returning," Erix said as he looked around in this clan area. "But you can show me your Alchemy tools. I want to look at them."
"And what's up with him?" Erix narrowed his eyes as he turned in the direction of a closed wall.
The clan leader turned in the direction and his eyes slightly shifted. 'How did he discover that bastard? Even lady Aria can't do that.'
"Is that formation supposed to hide that place?" Erix chuckled. "It can't block my space vision."
"That's a core practice area for our talented elves, Mr. Erix," the clan leader wryly smiled while his face slightly turned embarrassed. "As for that man…he is my son. I'm sorry you had to see him in such a state."
Rin was confused. "What did you see?"
However, Erix realized something and his expression darkened.
