"Bring it on!" the two of them charge forward and fight again. The battle between the sword and whip was getting more heated while arguing each time their weapon collided.

"Why would you come and mess with our young master if you're going to behave like this after leaving?" Lu Qing Yun asked. Although she wasn't the victim in this love-hate relationship, she hated that the two were fighting now due to their complicated background.josei

'Huh... She still comes and goes as swiftly as before.' Lu Qing Yun said to herself as she relaxed. And when she did, a painful sensation comes to her arm that was dealt with a kick by Peng Yan earlier.

She doesn't even need to lift the clothing to noticed that there's a bruise where she took the hit.

'That's what you get from hitting me that hard... I hope your breast is painful right now...' Lu Qing Yun smirked as she turned around and waited for Qin Lan to arrive at her location.

"General, the enemy has regrouped. Commander Xu Hu and Yang Yuan are dead. Right now, you're the only commanding officer left in our army." the captain of the Bronze Dragon Unit came to Peng Yan's side and reported.

"Ai..." Peng Yan sighed after listening to the captain's report. She had never expected that even Yang Yuan could fall to her opponent's hand.

"How many men we still have?" Peng Yan asked.

"Two thousand remaining from the Kuanglei Provincial Division, eight hundred from the Bronze Dragon Unit, and seven hundred from the Blood General's Beheading Unit. That's three thousand five hundred in total." the captain immediately answered.

"What about our opponent?" she added.

"In our rough estimation, between four to five thousand. But only half can be mobilized. The remaining soldiers would have to stay on guard monitoring the captives they've captured." the captain said.

"This battle won't be ended up well for us. Let us choose to..." Peng Yan felt dizzy out of sudden as she tried to speak.

"Move forward." an order came into her ears.

"Aargh!" as Peng Yan was deciding to order a retreat, the feeling of needles stabbing into her head came so intensely to the point she almost lost her consciousness.

After struggling for a while in her head, Peng Yan opened her eyes again. It was replaced by a hint of emotionless and coldness, unlike the Peng Yan a few minutes ago.

"Continue pushing forward. We'll fight to the death and make sure that we get rid of our opponent's general before he attacks our Kuanglei Province," said Peng Yan.

"Y - Yes... General..." the captain of Bronze Dragon Unit wanted to voice out his opinion, but he was too stiff and inflexible. As a soldier trained to obey his liege's command, questioning his commanding officer's decision is one of the taboos he cannot commit.

"Prepare the Dragon Uprising Charge. We'll crush their army in a single attack before going straight to their general's head." Peng Yan said as she put on the protective helmet on her head.
