"YOU BAST-Khhrrrhkk!!"
Gragor screamed in anger, but before he could do much, Nux, who was grabbing his neck, lifted him in the air.
"You were saying?"
Nux questioned with a light smile on his face, staring right into the Ironfang's eyes. The sight of his scorched face and destroyed right eye combined with that maniacal smile horrified Gragor to his core.
He tried to move, doing everything in his power to free himself from Nux's grip. However, every time he struggled, Nux strengthened his grip, strangling him further, making it difficult for him to even breathe, let alone use any ability.
One had to know, this was the same man who tore off a Titan's arm with his brute strength. Ironfangs were strong, yes, but most of their strength came from their armor. They could never be compared to Titans when it came to physical strength.
As for a being who overpowered a Titan in a battle of strength?
Gragor stood no chance.
"YOU BASTARD!!!!"
Vrakor, who saw his ally's and his own state, lost his reasoning and rushed toward Nux.
Even though his connection to his power was severed, he could still rely on his physical strength.
Of course, it was a foolish decision.
He couldn't face Nux even when he had all his powers. Thinking he could do it now that he had lost his powers and an arm... it was nothing more than a pipe dream.
Nux grabbed Gragor's head with his left arm that still wasn't healed yet. Then, with a crazy smile on his face, he waited for Vrakor to get close to them, giving him the slightest flicker of hope.
And the moment Vrakor got close,
"Ahh~ you were just a tad bit late.
Truly unfortunate."
Nux spoke. The smile on his face, however, never faded away.
"NOO!!!!"
Vrakor screamed, extending his left arm toward Nux, wanting to stop him, but... "AAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!"
Rip
In the midst of Gragor's horrified screams, Nux tore his head off.
Blood flowed out of Gragor's torso like a fountain, covering Nux's face.
Usually, Nux would use Absolute Kinesis or some other ability to not get dirty. Right now, however, he didn't stop it.
With a crazed smile on his face, he let the blood fall on him as he stared at the man's ally, who was looking at him with a pale look on his face.
It was a nightmarish sight Vrakor would never forget in his entire life.
"Two down.
Two more to go."
Nux commented with a bloodied grin as he then threw Gragor's head toward Vrakor.
The Titan grabbed the head with a lost look on his face.
"You are more shaken than I expected.
Was he your lover or something?"
Nux, who appeared next to Vrakor, questioned.
Vrakor reacted at the last second, but it was already too late. Nux's hand was already right in front of his face.
"Don't worry, I won't judge you."
Nux spoke as he then smashed the Titan's head into the ground.
"I have many other reasons to not like you."
He spoke as he grabbed another arrow shot at him.
"This is getting old, you know?"
He turned toward Zyros and,
"Stay put.
I will come for you at the end."
The moment he heard those words, Zyros felt his body tremble. He was terrified. After all, from the very start, this bastard had been targeting him. Not to mention, he had nearly killed that woman before.
Just thinking about what this monster had prepared for him made his legs tremble.
Zyros made a quick decision.
Three out of five Primordials who had come here were dead. Saving the last one wasn't possible either. He was hit by Piercing Reality. In that state, he was more of a dead weight than an ally.
The other mercenaries, including Valhelm, had died due to the aftereffects of the battle
as well.
Their 'party' didn't exist anymore.
So Zyros decided to make a run for it.
He believed that Vrakor, with his strong body, would buy him enough time to get away.
Thinking this far, Zyros decided to turn around and run away.
However, the moment he turned around, he saw Nux standing in front of him.
"You lot really are too predictable, huh..."
Nux chuckled.
BOOOM
Zyros turned around and saw that the arrow he had aimed at Nux exploded. Once again, the 'Nux' who was holding the arrow was obliterated into pieces. However, this time,
together with him,
Vrakor faced the full brunt of his attack. The Titan who couldn't use his energy was completely helpless against the explosion.
The only reason he even survived was because of his strong body. But right now, that seemed more like a curse than a blessing.
After all, even if his body ensured his survival, the state he was in was anything but good.
One of his arms was already torn off before. Now, both his legs had evaporated. The rest of his body was trembling without stop. His flesh was burnt. He was in pain, so much pain that he wanted to end his own life.
However, he couldn't even do that.
Even moving an inch was impossible in his current state. Right now, the only thing he could do was continue to burn his Life Force to hasten his death...
A horrifying end for any being in this Universe.
"Your attacks seem to specifically target him.
Do you have some bad blood with him or something?"
Nux questioned with a curious look on his face. Zyros, however, wasn't the one to let his emotions get the better of him.
Seeing that Nux was right in front of him, he instantly activated his strongest defensive
ability.
Astral Anchoring.
Zyros didn't have a strong body like Vrakor. However, this didn't mean that he didn't
have a way to protect himself.
Etheryn archers had the ability to anchor themselves to the fabric of space, making them immune to being physically displaced or destroyed by overwhelming force. A punch that could obliterate mountains might shatter the ground around them, but the
Etheryn would remain untouched.
This was one of the abilities that made Etheryns so troublesome to deal with. Not only did they have the ability to never miss their target, unbreakable weapons, and arrows that could pierce the very reality itself, their defense was also top-tier.
They could honestly stand in one place and continue attacking without a care in the
world if they had enough energy.
Once the Astral Anchoring was activated, they were untouchable.
Or at least that is what Zyros thought.
"Did you forget?"
Suddenly, Nux questioned.
Zyros narrowed his eyes, not saying anything.
He didn't want to fall for any of Nux's tricks.
Seeing this, Nux just smiled and continued,
"I knew you were an Etheryn from the very start."
Nux answered.
Zyros frowned, not knowing what Nux was trying to say. But then,
"Did you think I wouldn't have something against your race's trump card before I
engaged in battle?"
Nux spoke. Zyros widened his eyes in fright. However, before he could react, Nux
suddenly tapped his chest with his palm.
Soul Severance.
