Chapter 1775 Your right eye...
"Is she alright…?"
Nux questioned as he entered his Universe with a worried look on his face.
"She is out of danger,"
Evane replied.
Nux stared at her and she started explaining,
"She is not bleeding anymore. Her Life Force, that was dwindling, has stabilized now. It's a good sign."
Evane replied, but Nux could sense her hesitation.
"But?"
He tilted his head.
Evane bit her lips and said,
"Her body isn't regenerating. I tried to heal her, but some foreign energy is stopping me from doing so. In most cases, my energy usually overpowers such energies, but this time… it isn't working…"
The Elf answered, and Nux realized it.
Evane was facing the same problem he did.
Zyros's Energy must be stopping her from healing Vyriana, and since that energy belonged to a Primordial and was a phase higher, Evane had no way to get rid of it.
A Sovereign Stage Healer couldn't heal the injury inflicted by a Primordial.
The very fact that Evane was able to stabilize Vyriana's Life Force showed how exceptional she was.
"Where is she?"
Nux questioned.
"She…"
Evane was silent.
Honestly, right now, she wanted to keep Nux away from Vyriana; however, she knew that was impossible.
In the end, she took him to a room, and the moment Nux walked in, he froze.
Inside, Vyriana lay on a bed without her arms. Her face had somewhat healed, but Nux could still see bruises all over her face.
"Nux…"
Evane lightly grabbed Nux's hand, trying to calm him down.
"Can you heal her?"
Nux questioned directly.
"I can, but I need time."
"How much?"
"A few months. That energy is too strong. It would be better to have a stronger Healer take a look."
Evane answered honestly. Despite feeling down that she wasn't able to heal her sister, she didn't let those thoughts cloud her judgment.
"I understand."
Nux nodded as he then turned around, walking out of the room.
"Nux…?"
Evane called out with an uncertain look on her face.
"We are going back to Yrniel."
Nux declared before he walked out, leaving Evane with Vyriana.
"You took longer than I expected."
Suddenly, Nux heard a voice.
He turned around and saw Amaya walking towards him with a solemn expression on her face.
"So the enemies were strong, huh…"
She understood.
"That was no—"
"Nux, you blocked our vision and stopped us from witnessing the battle.
Vyriana was hurt, yet you still needed an hour to come and check on her, and,"
Suddenly, Amaya narrowed her eyes as she walked towards Nux.
She placed her hand on Nux's right cheek and then,
"Your right eye is trembling.
You were hurt."
It wasn't hard for Amaya to deduce what happened.
"You were waiting for your injuries to heal before coming here."
"It was nothing serious," Nux answered.
"If that was the case, you would have come sooner.
And stop lying, I can feel your emotions, not to mention you are a terrible liar."
"…"
Nux just turned silent.
"Are we going back to Yrniel?"
Amaya questioned.
Nux nodded, and the devourer nodded back.
The next instant, Nux opened a portal to Yrniel.
The Core was still connected to ExceedoGenesis's base in Yrniel; Nux and the others could return to Yrniel anytime they wanted.
Nux exited the portal. He would have met Royce and the others if it was a normal situation, but it wasn't.
He quickly teleported to High Order, inside Aeliana's office.
"INTRUDE—"
Sensing a foreign presence inside, all the guards rushed in at the same time.
These guards were a few of the strongest beings in the Order, the mightiest Divine Stage Cultivators with strong Laws; however, as they tried to rush at Nux, they lost control over their bodies mid-air, and they floated helplessly, unable to move while the 'enemy' stood right in front of them.
"N-Nux Leander…"
They recognized who he was.
"Since you know who I am, don't come in again."
Nux replied, sending all five guards back where they came from.
Once again, the office was empty, with the only people inside being Nux and… his 'master.'
"You come to see me after all this time, and even now, it's only because you want something from me. How selfish of you."
Aeliana complained.
Initially, she was glad that Nux came to her. However, the moment she noticed his expression, she realized that he needed help.
Of course, it wasn't like she didn't wish to help him—quite the opposite, she was glad he came to her—but for some reason, she still felt disappointed that Nux came to her not because he wanted to, but because he needed her help.
"Vyriana is hurt."
Nux replied, his tone completely opposite to Aeliana's playful tone, and the next instant, the smile on Aeliana's face disappeared.
"What…?"
"She was attacked by a Primordial an—"
"Why the hell were you people messing with Primordials!?"
Aeliana screamed in anger.
"It was my mistake. I didn't think it through."
Nux admitted.
Aeliana paused. Then, just like Amaya, she narrowed her eyes as well.
The Vampire then turned into Blood Mist and reformed her body in front of Nux, her hand holding his face as she observed him closely.
Her speed was so fast that, despite being able to see her, Nux's body couldn't react at all.
Once again, Nux realized just what sort of monster stood in front of him.
If instead of those five Primordials, he was facing her instead, Nux was certain that he would have never come out victorious, especially in the state he was currently in.
Even now, when his control over his body was somewhat better, enough to allow him to defeat four Primordials at the same time, he still didn't think he was strong enough to take on this woman.
"You were hurt,"
Aeliana commented.
"Your right eye was disintegrated."
'How the hell do these two know about it? Have they developed some sort of technique to keep an eye on me all the time?'
Honestly, considering their personalities, Nux wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
"Who did you fight, and where are they now?"
Aeliana questioned as she narrowed her eyes dangerously.
