Chapter 219 A New Awakening
As Lin Fan and Fu Gongzhe departed from the sacred pool area, the attention of Ling Han, Mo Yuegang, and the others remained fixed on Long Tian, who was now completely immersed in the depths of the pool.
A mesmerizing blue energy emanated from the pool, resembling a vibrant and undulating rainbow with a singular hue.
Li Yue'er displayed the most hopeful expression, yearning for Long Tian's swift recovery, even though Bi Han reassured them that everything was under control.
Ling Han, too, harbored similar sentiments. Having known Long Tian since infancy, protecting him was his top priority, surpassing even his own life, as instructed by Long Tian's mother.

In a different location, Lin Fan and Fu Gongzhe had descended from the mountain, finding themselves in the bustling main area of the Heavenly Demon Sect as nightfall enveloped the surroundings.
Even in the nighttime, the atmosphere remained vibrant, particularly on the field where the monthly competition had advanced to the semi-finals.
Amidst the lively activity, Lin Fan's countenance expressed discontent. He turned his gaze towards Fu Gongzhe, inquiring, "Now, what is my role here, Elder Fu? Does the access token serve another purpose?"
"Well, you can enter the pool once they've concluded. However, the prime functionality of the pool will have diminished by then. It might retain some benefits, but it's nearly indistinguishable from regular water since the sacred pool essence requires at least two years for maximum effectiveness," Fu Gongzhe elucidated.
Lin Fan's expression soured at this revelation. He had arrived with the anticipation that this moment would mark the commencement of his ascent from adversity. Instead, he found himself faltering once again, courtesy of Long Tian!
His fists clenched, with the name "Ling Tian" etched into his mind as someone he deemed necessary to impart a lesson to. The status of Long Tian as the young master of the Long family did not instill fear in him.
"However," Fu Gongzhe began, capturing Lin Fan's attention. "The token is not entirely without value, as you can trade it for one of the techniques offered within the Heavenly Demon Sect," he disclosed.
Arching an eyebrow, Lin Fan rubbed his chin, carefully considering Fu Gongzhe's proposition.
Waiting for two years seemed impractical, especially given the token's exclusivity to that particular pool.
Decisively, he declared, "Alright, I'll exchange the token for a technique from the Heavenly Demon Sect."
Fu Gongzhe grinned, "Very well. However, it would be even more advantageous if you were to join our sect. What are your thoughts on that?" he suggested.
Lin Fan shook his head, stating, "I believe I'll decline; I have other objectives post my graduation from school."
Fu Gongzhe sighed, "It's unfortunate... Well, accompany me to the library," he invited.
Lin Fan nodded, and thus, he proceeded to follow Fu Gongzhe towards the sect's library.
---
Returning to the sacred pool, over 10 minutes had elapsed since Long Tian submerged into its depths. The once vibrant blue energy emanating from the pool had now diminished, losing its enchanting rainbow-like appearance.
Expressing her concern, Li Yue'er spoke, "Will Long Tian be alright? It's been more than 10 minutes."
Bi Han promptly reassured her, "Don't worry, young lady. Throughout history, the sacred pool has never caused harm. On the contrary, those who emerge from it gain strength."
Li Yue'er nodded, finding solace in Bi Han's explanation.
As seconds transformed into minutes, the pool suddenly surged, resembling rising water.
"What's happening?" Ling Han inquired, furrowing his brow.
"Stay calm; I believe Long Tian will surface soon," Bi Han assured.
Ling Han nodded, his gaze steadfastly fixed on the pool.
As time elapsed, the pool appeared to recede further and further, gradually unveiling the natural rock formations at its bottom.
Each passing second witnessed more water draining away until it vanished completely, exposing Long Tian at the pool's bottom, surrounded by the now revealed natural rocks.
A rush ensued, with everyone converging around the pool and crouching near Long Tian, whose forehead still bore the small crimson rhombus mark.
"Is it customary for the sacred pool to drain like this?" Ling Han inquired.
"It's not typical, but it seems Long Tian absorbed it. However, the water is entirely gone. That has never happened before," Bi Han responded, his tone serious.
"While that may be beneficial for the young master, what about the pool itself? Did it vanish just like that?" Ling Han probed further.
"No, this pool has an underground water source beneath these rocks. But it will take a long time to replenish," Bi Han explained.
Ling Han nodded in understanding but continued to seek clarification on a few more aspects.
As their conversation unfolded, Li Yue'er's gaze remained fixed on the unconscious Long Tian.
Suddenly, she observed Long Tian's eyes in motion, catching her off guard. In an instant, Long Tian opened his eyes, revealing a deep crimson color with a faint hint of blue.
Rising immediately to a seated position, Long Tian looked around with a slight sense of confusion.
Li Yue'er reacted promptly, "You're finally awake!" she exclaimed happily, immediately enveloping Long Tian in a hug.
Long Tian simply stroked Li Yue'er's back, still feeling bewildered. It felt as if he had been asleep for a hundred years.
Li Yue'er released her hug and immediately asked, "Are you feeling well now?" her tone filled with worry and care.
Long Tian smiled, "Don't worry, Yue'er," he assured.
Li Yue'er smiled back and nodded, feeling relieved.
On the other hand, Ling Han also sighed in relief, "Luckily, you're awake, young master. How do you feel?" he asked.
"I don't know. How long have I been unconscious?" Long Tian inquired.
"Not long, not even an hour," Ling Han responded.
"What? Shit, it feels like I've been asleep for a hundred years," he expressed earnestly.
This time, Mo Yuegang chimed in, "Now that you're awake. How? Have you felt any new powers or at least an increase in strength?" he asked, his tone curious.
"Well," Long Tian stood. Then, suddenly, two black horns grew on his head!
Everyone was stunned into silence when they witnessed this transformation.
"I don't know where they came from, but it seems like I can control them," Long Tian calmly stated.
"That is..." Mo Yuegang fell into a thoughtful silence.
"A demon... Young master, I believe you've inherited the bloodline of a true demon!" Bi Han exclaimed.
"Is that so? Maybe I've turned evil now?" Long Tian said, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips.
"But... Have you felt an increase in strength?" Bi Han inquired, his tone filled with curiosity.
"Well, let me try it," Long Tian responded.
With that, he pointed upward with his finger. The next moment, the tip of his finger emitted a concentrated crimson light.
In the following moment, he unleashed the crimson power, creating a shot like a laser that shot into the sky.
The energy beam soared high into the sky before eventually exploding in the air, creating a spectacular display akin to a giant firework.
Witnessing this, Ling Han and the others were filled with awe, but Mo Yuegang's expression hardenwed. If he followed his hallucination and approached Mo Xie, he might have been the one to gain that power. However, he quickly shook his head, dismissing that thought.
"Well, that's really something..." Bi Han commented, a sense of admiration evident in his tone.
"Well, that's just a glimpse of the new powers I feel, but I don't think I need to showcase everything here. The important thing is, Sect Master, I feel great, and it's all thanks to you. Now, I can declare the Heavenly Demon Sect as an ally of the Long family, especially for me personally," Long Tian confidently stated, a confident smirk etched on his face.
Hearing this, both Mo Yuegang and Bi Han were taken aback, clearly not expecting such a declaration from Long Tian.
Mo Yuegang quickly put on a wide smile, "It's truly delightful to hear that directly from you, young master. But, is it genuine or just mere words?" he inquired, his interest piqued.
"I can assure you my words are genuine, as long as the Heavenly Demon Sect doesn't misuse the Long family name," Long Tian affirmed.
A wide smile reappeared on Mo Yuegang's face, "Rest assured, that won't happen, young master. And, what about my previous offer for you to join my sect? If you agree, I can declare you as a holy son right now," he proposed.
Bi Han was surprised to hear this. Mo Yuegang was still relatively young and had led the sect for less than 10 years, yet he was offering Long Tian the position of holy son...
But upon reflection, Long Tian possessed exceptionally high talent, which would be a tremendous asset to the Heavenly Demon Sect. The position of holy son was undoubtedly fitting.
"Sect Master, as I've said before, my decision remains unchanged," Long Tian responded.
Mo Yuegang expressed a bit of disappointment, but he quickly remembered that his sect had gained a new, powerful ally.
"Well, young master, you might not be a part of the Heavenly Demon Sect, but I have something for you," he said, reaching into his storage ring.
Long Tian looked intrigued as Mo Yuegang handed him something—a token made of jade carved in the shape of two demon wings.
Accepting the token, Long Tian examined it with curiosity.
Mo Yuegang promptly explained, "This is an honorary guest token of the Heavenly Demon Sect. With this, you can freely enter and leave our sect as long as you show it to the guards. It has no time limit; it's yours forever. There's only one, and I'm giving it to you, young master Long."
Hearing this, Long Tian raised an eyebrow. Then, a satisfied smile appeared on his face.
Having a token of honor from both the Wudang Sect and the Heavenly Demon Sect was undoubtedly a great advantage.
"Well, I appreciate this, Sect Master," Long Tian said, a smile on his face.
Mo Yuegang nodded with a lingering smile. Securing an alliance with the Long family's young master would undoubtedly benefit his sect, particularly in terms of security and influence.
"Alright, Sect Master, I need some private space now, is that possible?" Long Tian suddenly inquired.
"Of course, let Elder Bi accompany you," Mo Yuegang responded.
Bi Han, on the other hand, quickly instructed, "Follow me, young master."
Long Tian nodded but directed his gaze to Li Yue'er.
"I need at least tonight alone. Is that okay?" he asked.
"It's okay, but I'll stay here too," Li Yue'er responded.
Long Tian nodded with a smile on his face. Then, he looked at Ling Han, "We'll head back tomorrow morning, Uncle Ling," he said.
Ling Han nodded, "Take your time tonight, young master," he advised.
With a final nod, Long Tian followed Bi Han, leaving the others behind.
As he walked, Long Tian took out the ancient book he acquired during the auction.
"Finally, I can use it!" he murmured with a grin.
