Chapter 236 Unexpected Encounter
Long Tian and Long Jun strolled together, engaged in conversation, until they reached a gathering of about 8 people deep in discussion.
Observing their approach, Long Gun, an elder with flowing white hair, greeted them, "Ohh, Jun Li, it seems we've got two promising talents from the Long family here. How about I make the introductions?" he suggested, a warm smile on his face.
Jun Li, also a senior member of the Jun family, scrutinized the newcomers, inquiring, "Ohh, and who might they be?"
"The one on the left is Elder Long Jun's son, Long Jin, and beside him is Long Tian, the young master of the Long family," Long Gun responded, his smile unwavering.
Jun Li nodded, a content smile forming on his face, seemingly pleased with the noble, handsome, and dignified appearance of both Long Tian and Long Jin.
"They both exhibit exceptional talent; it appears the Long family is cultivating no shortage of geniuses for the future," he remarked.
"Well, we just need to observe their qualities, and we are blessed with our martial spirits playing a crucial role in our development," Long Gun replied, a touch of pride evident in his tone.
Jun Li nodded. In this moment, a member of the Jun family noticed Long Tian, "Ohh, young master Long Tian, we meet again," he greeted, his tone friendly, accompanied by a smile.
Long Tian shifted his attention to the voice, where a middle-aged man approached.
The man looked familiar to him, none other than the person he had encountered at the auction, Jun Zhou.
"Ohh, good evening, Mr. Jun Zhou. May I ask what brings you here?" he inquired politely, with a subtle smile.
"My visit is nothing but to extend an invitation to the celebration for the recovery of our patriarch, Jun Tian. We could have sent someone, but since there were discussions about other matters, we decided to come in person," Jun Zhou responded, his smile unwavering.
Long Tian nodded upon hearing this. In this moment, Jun Li interjected, "Jun Zhou, you never told me you know the young master of the Long family."
"Well, I just got to know him a few days ago, but undoubtedly, he will be a great person in the future," Jun Zhou praised.
Long Tian simply smiled upon hearing this, "No one knows about the future, Mr. Jun Zhou. We can only plan and strive as much as possible. The future is a vast expanse of uncertainty, and it's our choices and actions today that pave the way," Long Tian replied, a smile on his face.
Jun Zhou became even more impressed with Long Tian. Usually, a young master from a prominent family would exhibit high arrogance, but that didn't seem to apply to Long Tian.
In this moment, Long Jin stepped forward, "By the way, I heard that Elder Jun Li has a serious illness. Is that news true?" he inquired.
Jun Li promptly responded, "I do have a serious illness that has been with me for years. It's truly tormenting, but in the past few days, I've been much fitter and healthier—all thanks to a young man I met back then. It was a life-changing encounter for me. Perhaps if I hadn't met him, I might not be here," his tone grateful, accompanied by a smile.
Hearing this, some people seemed very intrigued, especially the Long family members.
"According to your explanation, that young man seems very talented. Who is he?" Long Gun asked curiously.
"I still remember his face and name. The young man is named Lin Fan," Jun Li responded.
Everyone nodded. Although they didn't know Lin Fan, the name would be enough to leave an impression on them.
On the other hand, Long Tian looked surprised, raising one of his eyebrows. Lin Fan met Jun Li... He clearly didn't expect that.
He tried to calm himself again and asked with a smile, "Surely, that was a turning point for you, Elder Li. If I may know, what illness do you suffer from? And has it been completely healed by Lin Fan?" his tone curious.
"His medical ability is indeed excellent, but I haven't fully recovered yet. Of course, I hope to meet him again and be healed," Jun Li responded.
Long Tian nodded. Long Gun then asked, "If his medical skills are so good, I wonder why he isn't famous?" he questioned.
"I don't know either, but it seems he is very humble and low-
profile. But maybe he will come to the celebration the day after tomorrow," Jun Li responded.
Long Gun nodded, looking forward to meeting Lin Fan.
Long Tian stroked his chin; he got good information here. Unconsciously, a mischievous smile began to form on his face.
Now, it seemed to make sense why Lin Fan could have a special token from the Jun family.
Presently, Long Gun suggested, "Alright, I believe it's not appropriate to continue our conversation here. Elder Jun Li, Mr. Jun Zhou, and everyone else, let's proceed inside," his friendly tone accompanied by a smile.
Jun Li, feeling flattered, reciprocated with a smile. Together, they made their way towards the mansion for the guests.
However, Long Tian veered to the other side, piquing Long Jin's curiosity. Some others halted, and Long Jin inquired, "Won't you be joining us, Brother Long Tian?"
Long Tian turned, "Regrettably, I have pressing matters to attend to. Elder Jun Li, Mr. Jun Zhou, I hope you enjoy your time," Long Tian responded courteously, a smile gracing his face.
"I comprehend your busyness, young master. May you also find enjoyment in your endeavors," Jun Li replied.
Long Tian maintained his smile and diverged onto a different path from the group.

While leisurely walking, Long Tian reached into his pocket, extracting his smartphone, and initiated a call to Guan Ji.
Within mere seconds, the call connected, and Guan Ji's voice resonated through the phone.
"May I inquire about the purpose of your call, young master?" he asked.
"Could you provide me with the precise location of the herbal medicine store you mentioned earlier?" Long Tian queried.
"If memory serves me right, it goes by the name of the Legendary Herbal Medicine Store, situated on Fuinshu Street in downtown Tianzhou," Guan Ji promptly responded.
A subtle grin spread across Long Tian's face as he processed the information.
"I think I'll pay a visit," he remarked, the grin on his face widening.
