Tamer of Cosmic Beasts

Chapter 103

Chapter 103: Baba Azdaha

There was no applause, the audience was quiet. Some didn't believe it whereas others gritted their teeth in hatred.

"That can't be right, that must've been some fluke. Patidan City's beasts were terrified by that unknown murderous aura, that man did nothing."

Some voices directly opposed the outcome of the battle, in fact, most of the 3rd tier cities hated Abran City. They wanted to feel superior to this once 1st tier city that had fallen from grace. Their worst nightmare was Abran regaining its former glory, the opposing voices were rising in number until a judge yelled.

"Silence!"

Just one word from him was enough to bring everyone to silence. After the battle's end, Akash stepped forward to meet Patidan City's tamers.

"It was a nice fight."

Akash said while extending his arm for a handshake and Chacha reciprocated by shaking it as cold sweat ran down his cheek.

"What kind of hands are these? They feel like they're made of steel or something. Thank goodness I didn't rush in like Arshu."

Chacha pondered before replying.

"Nice fight? Haha, it was too one-sided to be called that."

Akash replied with a simple smile before Chacha continued.

"Were you the one who emitted that killing intent earlier?"

"No, it was not me."

Akash answered before Chacha tsked and twisted his head to quickly glance at Kamal in anger.

"What a foolish mistake I've done!"

Chacha cursed himself.

"It was my sword."

Akash clarified, shocking Chacha, who then looked at him with a strange face.josei

"Your sword!? Are you messing with me? Since when can swords emit killing intent?"

Akash squeezed the hand of Chacha as he tried to control the pain. He fell on his knees but didn't let a sound out of his mouth, showing his remarkable pain tolerance.

Akash Tagar elaborated.

"In this vast cosmos, there is a small cluster where a small galaxy exists. Inside of that tiny galaxy, there are billions of stars, and each star has hundreds of planets revolving around it. This tiny planet revolves around one of the smallest stars.

In the smallest and weakest shithole of the cosmos, there exist many useless 3rd tier cities like Abran and Patidan. You are a resident of such a city, you resemble the famous tale of frog in a well. You know nothing yet you arrogantly assume things when you don't even know everything on this single planet. Swords and every other type of weapon have intents of a different kinds, apart from that, they also possess an aura. Only a true master can enjoy these facets of their weapon."

Chacha was terrified, he felt overwhelming pressure from Akash. The referee saw this and quickly asked.

"Hey, what are you doing to him?"

Upon the referee's question, Akash instantly released the hand of Chacha before bending a bit and whispering something in Chacha's ear. After which, he nonchalantly replied to the referee.

"Nothing, we were just shaking hands."

The referee squinted his eyes.

"Then why was he on his knees?"

"He was just tired."

He grinned before the referee looked at Chacha.

"Did he injure you? Tell me, if you say yes, I can check the camera recordings. He will be disqualified if he attacked you after the match and your city will replace his."

Chacha's eyes widened, he was getting a chance to stay in the tournament. All he had to say was yes. However, instead he sighed and replied.

"No sir, we were just shaking hands. Mr. Akash is right, I was simply tired, that's why I bent down to rest".

The referee hummed and left, someone had signaled him to try and exploit this to disqualify Abran. But alas, he failed. Akash looked at Chacha and nodded before going back to his resting room. After which, Kamal Diod ran towards Chacha Mokh.

"Chacha, it was our chance! He attacked you, why didn't you commit?"

Chacha replied to Kamal while staring at the leaving figure.

"Kamal, thank you for forcing me to surrender."

Confused, Kamal inquired.

"Why are you showing gratitude all of a sudden? I thought you wanted to scold me."

The former replied.

"That man is not simple at all. We are lucky he didn't kill us. As for why I didn't say anything to the referee, it was because he told me that he would teach us about the secrets of weapons. If we can successfully learn that, then winning the 3rd tier tournament in the future would be an easy task."

Meanwhile, Akash sat back down on a chair in his waiting room, looking at the fights from the window. He opened his inventory and saw a slot with a sword in it, took it out and placed it on his waist.

"Are you happy now, Baba?"

Akash asked with a smile.

"Yes, Master. I am."

The sword replied.

"Tsk, I told you not to call me master."

Akash retorted

"But you are my only master."

The sword replied.

The sword's blade, engraved with ornate rune imprints and glowing with a light azure hue, was 84 cm long while the azure handle was 33 cm long, 117 cm long in total. In his hands, the sword looked straight, but if one looked at it from further away, it would actually look slightly curved.

This sword was made from the body of Omni Dragon King. Each Primordial Beast had left an item for Akash. Just like the golden cloak was made by the law body of Ancestor Sparrow, this sword was given to him when he reached the 3rd Star realm. He named this sword Baba Azdaha. Baba meant father while Azdaha meant Dragon as Akash had called Omni Dragon King father.

The sword also held the soul and memories of Omni Dragon, yet it was not exactly him either. After the sword was made and his soul was sent inside, the real Omni Dragon died and from his memories and soul, a new being was born in the form of a sword soul. Still, Akash named it Baba Azdaha, to honour and remember the warm love he had felt from him.

During his training in Carnage Prison, Akash had only mastered 2 stages of the Tyrannical Body of the Gods, breaking through from the 1st Moon to 2nd which was 1/3rd of skill. However, he did successfully master the Elfin Inferno Volley, learned upon awakening the Fire Law, and broke through into the 2nd Star. During that time, the king had also awakened his Wind Law and mastered its skill Murderous Gale Scythe, breaking into the 3rd Star as well. This was how Akash Tagar's had reached his current cultivation of the 2nd Moon of the 3rd Star realm.
