After hearing Herman’s story and watching the surveillance footage, Seraphina suddenly chimed in.

Herman stared at her wide-eyed, “What?”

“I’ve been trying to figure out how much of a mastermind Maddox could really be, to orchestrate such a perfect accident without leaving a trace.” Seraphina scoffed, “But it’s clear now. It’s not that his plan was so flawless, but…there’s someone behind him cleaning up his mess. I think we both know who that is, don’t we?”
