Chapter 188: Shadow Medos

Seth sighed in relief and through the scales he concluded that the last dragon was very far, then he began to crawl out. He checked the Moon Dust tattoo and found the pillar had filled up.

The dragon has razed the place clean. There was no single crystal around. Only a few white rocks and solid rocks. He looked at the sun and made a scale to absorb its sound.

"Wow." Seth felt warm in his body and also the surrounding became hotter. "This thing has a lot of potentials."

Interestingly, Seth heard some human noise close by through one of the scales. Remembering his staff and shield at the other side where the moon first concentrated its beam, he dashed toward them.

The thing about the moon's wrath was that the heavy moonlight that affect everyone negatively cascaded everywhere on the continent but the heavy light beam was centralized in Seth's location.

And as he had stayed in one place before he ran out of the direct beam to another location, two places faced the moon's centralized beam and that caused crystallization of them.

From far away, he saw a congregation of people around the first crystalised place. And from that distance, he felt some animosity directed at him. So he slowed down.

Most of the animosity came from a certain group but as he came closer, he understood all eyes were on him but not in a good way.

Some very powerful people were there, and they could squash him with ease.

"You will not participate in this. You are late!" A tall woman with scary power said. Upon her order, Seth almost fell to his knees but he flashed her a smile and announced, "I'm not here for that. My query is with them!"

That was when some angry gaze reduced and he felt that he can breathe normally. The crater the groups surround was bigger and there were a lot of white stones and very few inferior crystals.

At the east side of the crater were two groups, one group he knew and the other didn't. Zambia stared at him before he gestured for him to come at him. That was the group he knew.

"I said, he will not be part of this!" The woman growled at Zambia's group. Zambia was about to retort when Seth ignored them and walked toward the west side. It's where the woman was and her group.

There were two more groups in line with her but they kept their distance. One of them has only two members. That was his target.

He stood before them, they were shorter than him and covered in blue cloaked hoods. Their faces were well obscured, but in Seth Aura Sight, they seem not human. Even if they were, then they have undergone too much to maintain their Pale Aura.

"I need to speak with you," Seth said to the tallest one. They did not react and the other groups just eyed Seth trying to understand his shenanigans.

"Hmm. You have something that belongs to me," He added. But they did not react, which annoyed him, he then brought out a red hard branch. "You want to do this the hard way!"

His intention was clear to see, he wasn't here to play. As his eyes became intense, the surrounding temperature increased, and Seth somehow activated Temra Apecto with only his anger.

The tall one looked up, still, his face was shadowy and asked. "What?" His voice was childish but also carried power.

"You. Know. What!" Seth said with clear hostility. He also released a lot of aura intending to pull his item, the aura went through but the item never responded.

What happened was that when the moon's wrath was over, the objects that disappeared returned. Seth's glass shield came back, his hand also came back. He knew his staff would be back and it did.

But when he reached here he had been sending aura and it was responding but not in a place he was expecting. But rather, he tracked it to be with the two small people standing by each other as a separate group.

He concluded that the two had come here first and they saw his staff and shield and took it. He doesn't care about the shield but he will die both in two worlds to get it back. Even if he has to face an ancient dragon.

Without it, he knew his journey had come to an end. Besides, the entity that possessed him said to Anna, she is the true shield. That means the staff is part of him, losing it meant losing part of him.

There was some silence, and Seth was ready for a fight when the person turned and said to his colleague, "Wait for me here!"

Seth followed behind him. "We can have a good transaction. That thing is my life, I don't care about what you seek in the crater, all I want is my item. And I will die to get it back." Seth said to the blue-cloaked person.

"Gifts from the moon are for everyone, boy!"

"The moon took it and returned it. It's mine, to begin with." Seth said.

The duo walked for about 7 kilometres. The person stopped and looked at Seth.

"Turn around and leave. I do not want to kill you unnecessarily"

"I will kill to retrieve it." Seth retorted.

Then a standstill was issued between them. Suddenly, beneath Seth, a glow of energy appeared. Seth was frozen in place and foul cold and moisture permeated the air.

Dangerous energy erupted from the ground and a beast maw filled with a sharp jags teeth silhouette appeared beneath Seth, where the energy aura was. The beast swallowed Seth's legs and intended to consume him all.

"Pulse..!"

A terrifying pressure descended, it shattered the beast and the magic. The small person was also slammed to the ground and he squealed in fear.

Fragile stones were also crushed 100m radius. Seth then dashed with a ball of red and slammed at the person but he shattered into particles of water and appeared at another point.

A burst of water shoots from the person's palm toward Seth, the speed and strength of the water beam can shatter a block of concrete. Seth's cloak shifted and became the shield that protected him and he was surprised to find that the green part was absorbing water.

'I didn't know it had this function!' Seth thought but his eyes were on the blue-cloaked person.

The water wasn't good, so the cloaked person brought a rapier and then he moved very fast.

"Vela.." Seth's speed increased but he was nowhere near the person. However, right as the person going to strike.

"Shifting Armour!" Seth's normal attire hardened and became steel-like. Clanng!

The person's hands shook and he jumped back, trying to hold his hand as the rebound was very strong.

Seth concluded, the person was fast but had a weaker body. However, he was very resilient and flexible as he took pulse pressure with minimum injury.

Thankfully, Seth over time has become a tank and has some good defence.

Roarrrrr!

Seth felt a chill down his spine as a malformed creature came out of the blue-cloaked person's shadow. It was similar to the one that attacked him from his shadows.

The creature moved faster than its master and attacked Seth. Every step it took cracked the ground and the air became stale with cold foulness. It directly went for the kill that was intended to bite Seth's head completely.

"Force f…" the attire barrier blocked the creature and blaster it back and it slammed at its master.

Right before the enemy recovered, Seth appeared beside him and he punched as hard as he could, clean to the head.

The head was very soft and it easily took the attack and absorbed the impact due to its robbery nature. However, Seth has coated his hand with Dragon Blood and he was barely controlling it using Red and Aura manipulation due to its hardness and its inherent pressure and fear-inducing property.

The punch disoriented the blue-cloaked person and that gave Seth time to control the red liquid and encased the person in a cocoon.

"Temra…"

The cocoon surface cooled down and hardened like a stone but that was the outside but the inside was hot.

Temra Aspecto allowed Seth to manipulate temperature but the changing temperature wasn't as magical as it was. The heat or cold had to move somewhere or be self-absorbed using the Aspecto.

In this case, he made the cocoon in layers, he pushed heat to the inner layer while making the outer layer cold and hardening the surface more.

But that wasn't all, Seth punched with good strength and acceleration due to Vela Aspecto at the cocoon, more than that, he pushed the dragon aura inside from the dragon blood that coated his hand.

Boom!

"Ahhhhhh!"

The cocoon exploded and a dishevelled-cloaked person screamed in pain and anger. He panted and shouted, "Kill!"
