“Baby, tell me, what did you dream about?”

Edward was still holding me in his arms, gently patting my back. My breathing eventually slowed to a normal rate. Once I was calmer and more clear-headed, I realized that the baby was still in my womb, not my arms. josei

“It’s nothing. It was just a nightmare. It wasn’t real.”

I didn’t want to recall that nightmare because it was just too painful. My child was almost taken away from me in the dream.
