Chapter 925: Shameless Bandits

While Jiang Fei was still upset, things became a lot more chaotic on the battlefield as more Dragons had made their way out of the Nephilim army’s barrier.

“Everyone, focus on earning rewards. There’s no need to block all of the Dragons!” Jiang Fei shouted in the guild channel.

Players had come to earn rewards and not to annihilate the Dragon race. In fact, Jiang Fei was the only one who could hold off the Overlord Dragons which had made it through the barrier.

Even so, Jiang Fei could not possibly fight against several Overlords at the same time. Although he had a lot of Health Points, and also had the incredible recovery effect from the Cauldron of Spirit, he would still be killed in an instant if he fought against a group of Overlords simultaneously.

Just as the Dark Faction players entered a state of chaos, the Neutral Faction players began to take action.

These Neutral Faction’s players were not here to fight against the Dark Faction. They were also not here to rescue the Dragons. Their primary objective was to take advantage of the dead.

Different factions had different ways of playing the game. The players in the Dark and Light Factions mostly focused on building guilds while the Neutral Faction’s players focused on stealing from others.

For a bunch of Bandits, stealing was nothing out of the ordinary.

As the Dark Faction players had killed quite a number of Dragons, they were carrying some pretty good items. In fact, to fight against these strong Dragons, the Dark Faction players had to wear very expensive equipment. Thus, the Bandits were waiting for these players to die so that their equipment would drop.

In actual fact, the Lords and Overlords dropped very few items. In comparison to the tens of thousands of players’ equipment, the drops from these Dragons were basically worthless. To acquire massive wealth, the Neutral Faction’s Bandits clearly placed their attention on the Dark Faction players.

“Charge! It’s time to get rich!”

“Let’s run quickly. We won’t get anything if we’re slow!”

The Neutral Faction’s players started charging directly toward the battlefield. As they had at least the Friendly level of Reputation with the Dragon race, the Dragons would not attack them. As such, these players benefited the most from the chaotic battle.

These Dragons were not dumb like those in the dungeons. As they possessed intelligence, they naturally cooperated with the Neutral Faction’s players to fight against their enemies.

“Darn it! Stop them!”

“Bastards! Don’t let them get close!”

As soon as the Neutral Faction players charged into the battlefield, the Dark Faction players began to suffer greatly. Although each of the bigger guilds had reserved some of their members to fight against the Neutral Faction’s players, they did not expect these players to play dirty.

“Haha! I bet none of you expected this! You need brains for this!” Tutu laughed as he observed from afar. This was all part of his plan. Tutu was probably the only person who could unite the scattered groups of Bandits.

In the beginning, the Dark Faction players planned to block the Neutral Faction players directly. However, they did not expect the Neutral Faction players to have devised an indirect strategy under Tutu’s leadership.

These Neutral Faction’s players did something entirely unexpected, which was to protect their Druids at all costs while they charged forward. Once the Druids got close enough to the Dragons, they would cast Invigorate on the Dragons.

Invigorate was a classic skill of Druids. It had the simple function of rapidly recovering a target’s Mana.

How dare the Dark Faction’s players bully the Dragon race? Apart from the fact that they greatly outnumbered the Dragons, it was also mainly because the Dragons had used up all of their Mana and therefore could not cast Draconian Magic Spells. This meant the Dragons’ capabilities were significantly reduced and thus resulted in their disadvantage against the players.

However, after receiving the recovery effect from Invigorate, the Dragons very quickly recovered 30% of their Mana.

Although 30% Mana was not enough for the Dragons to use Draconian Forbidden Spells, they could still use Draconian Magic Spells.

All of a sudden, the Dark Faction players were killed in large numbers as the Dragons started using Draconian Magic Spells. Meanwhile, the Neutral Faction’s players were unaffected by their allies’ spells and were able to move around freely in the areas affected by the Dragons’ spells. They were completely focused on picking up the equipment left behind by dead players from the Dark Faction.

Apocalyptic Scorch!

As Little Rain shouted angrily, a beam of flames ascended into the skies. After a long moment of chanting, Little Rain had finally completed his Seal Curse Spell.

After being attacked by the Seal Curse Spell, many of the Neutral Faction’s players were killed. However, despite being killed, these players were still very happy as they revived in the city.

Although the Neutral Faction’s players died, they had merely lost the lousy equipment which were gifts from the system. While they would randomly lose one of the items they had just picked up, they would still earn a lot with the ones which remained in their backpack.

“Everyone, hurry up! Collect the equipment while you’re still alive!”

“Don’t block me!”

“This is mine!”

The Neutral Faction players scurried around to snatch equipment left behind by the Dark Faction players who had been killed by Dragons. Regardless of how the Dark Faction players had treated them, they continued to run around whilst picking up the equipment left behind. They did not stop until they were killed and were revived back in the city.

Tutu had a very clear objective in this battle, which was to get rich. There was no point in killing their enemies as they would not earn any Experience. Besides, the Dragons were far more effective in killing than the players.

Therefore, under Tutu’s leadership, the groups of Bandits fully ignored the damage inflicted upon them. They would try to heal themselves as much as possible. Those who did not have healing skills would depend on potions instead. The point was to stay alive for as long as possible and to pick up as many equipment as they could.

“Damn it! You bastards!” Lady Casanova was close to tears. These Bandits did not even respond to her attacks or verbal abuse. They merely focused on picking up equipment dropped by the Dark Faction players.

“Hahaha… Verdure Glider, you must be terribly annoyed! Hahahaha!” Tutu sent a message via the area’s channel to taunt Jiang Fei.

“Piece of crap! Who is this Tutu? When have I ever done anything to him?” Jiang Fei was confused. Although Jiang Fei had beaten Tutu up in the past, he had never paid any attention to the fellow and therefore had thoroughly forgotten about him.
